BTW, in order to address the meth problems with pseudephedrine, there's a new non-pseudephedrine version of Sudafed that's on the market: Sudafed PE. It uses phenylephrine.

It makes my scalp feel like it is crawling along with sleepiness or a jittery feeling.

I sort of feel like that--jittery, the slightest noise at night will wake me up, but, I feel exhausted. Bad stuff. Doesn't even unstuff my nose. One time I took a time release, 24 formulation. I didn't get a decent night's sleep for 3 nights.

The only thing it does to me is make me better Unfortunately, it is such a pain in the butt to buy anymore, I usually have to go with something else. Seems like I only get sick when I am NOT near a pharmacy or the one by my house is closed.

I avoid pseudephedrine. I would rather stay sick than take it. Last week I bought the Sudafed PE and took it for a day and a 1/2...it worked great for me

It makes me feel like a criminal. My state has such a bad Meth problem that they are now tracking who buys anything with pseudoephedrine in it. Imagine my suprise when I went to get some cold pills and was asked for two forms of I.D.

The girl at Walgreens wrote down all my info, including my SSN in their "Pseudoephedrine Book". Made me feel like they thought I was going home to cook some Meth, rather than take care of my sick Mom.

It only helps me breathe. I hate how hard it is to get now. Good thing I don't take it near as often as I do.

Wow I had no idea this stuff would make you high! I've been taking this stuff, Comitrex I think, but I don't know if it has pseudophedrine in it.

Dh took it 10 years ago for a cold and it made him high as a kite. He was a happy fellow who sang about a fluffy bunny, didn't recogize his own child, and told the Dr in the ER that I was a mean witch and he was scared of me.

When he finally came down off of the cold medicine he slept for 16 hours. He is not allowed to take it anymore
