We are considering staying at the Poly, and I would love to hear all the special little touches, nuances, and experiences that the Poly has to offer!
Thank you!
In my opinion, the way the grounds are kept, the background music that is played, and the torches lit at night really make it a great atmosphere. One of the reasons why I absolutely love the resort!

Yeah, what he said. Plus the monorail is right there, at the end of a loooong day it is a big plus. I'm an early riser, up by 5am every day, so I would get up and make a cup of coffee, then walk all over the grounds to let my friend sleep in, it's wonderful as there is no one around, dead silent, and the castle is in the distance changing colors. If you do stay at the Poly, be sure to inhale as you walk into the GCH to check in, the lobby has a very distinct smell, no place else smells like it, totally unforgettable.
With the kids, its the fireworks plus the electric light parade at night from the beach - much better than fighting crowds in the parks. It is truly a resort feel, and going back for the room/swim is actually something to look forward to!
