Tell me about Vero Beach!!!

We are going to be staying there at the end of the month in an Ocean View Inn room

Hoping to do some fun, relaxing things with the kids before heading to Universal and WDW. Any ideas of "not to be missed" activities are appreciated!!!

See if you can get an upper floor OV Inn Room upon checkin (preferably the 4th floor) for a great view. The Green Cabin Room is a lounge but it is kid friendly. They have a limited menu plus the kids can get smoothies. Sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the Ocean Breeze and View. If it is too hot and humid for you,stay indoors,sit back relax and maybe play a game of checkers.
Lots of activities for the children to enjoy.
One thing not to forget to pack is some Insect repellent for Noseeums and Mosquitos.
Enjoy your R and R with your family.
