I've always said that a buffet almost never presents the best example of its cuisine. Boma may not be an exception, but it's pretty close!
When you go, I suggest being adventurous and taking at least tasting portions of a number of different items, even those that you do not think you would like. I did on my last trip, and was often quite pleasently surprised! And of course, it being a buffet you can always go and get seconds of your favorites.
That's what I like about buffets: I can try a little of a lot of different things, including some I would likely never order a full portion off a menu.
