If they gave out an award for "most improved" or "gained the most maturity over the course of the season", it'd hands-down go to Gary.As far as Gary goes - while I think he has matured a bit in the last few episodes and while I think he has a legitimate point about this boyfriend of Amber's changing Leah's diaper to put the stipulation that no other MAN will change his child's diaper is a bit much.
I think he's perfectly reasonable when he says no other man is to change Leah's diaper. She's already a year old, so you're only talking about another year or so of diapers, and then the problem will disappear. I think he dropped the issue too easily.
You can't deny though that Carley has a better life than any of the other kids on that show. Yeah, some of the girls are doing an okay job, but they're all focused on their own problems: money, boyfriends, school. Carley's adoptive parents are focused on Carley. My son watched that with me last year. He asked why they were giving up their baby and when I said it was because they wanted the baby to have a better life, he started to cry.
Exactly! For example, you can't move into a place early and not expect to pay. It's just immaturity on her part, but the baby's caught up in it.Farrah wants to be treated like an adult but wants the benefits of being a dependant child. Sorry, Farrah-baby, you can't have it both ways.
