Teen Mom

Not if he had never worked. I think he was still in high school.

As for Maci and Ryan, I agree that Maci seems like a good mom, but remember she is going to school and working full time. Her mom is probably taking care of the baby most of the time. So she is not that much different than Ryan in that respect. Also Ryan would be foolish to not a legal custody agreement. In these situations it is always best for both parties to legally spell out visitation and custody. I am not sure how the show is edited, but Ryan must be a good dad. Bentley really seems to love him and enjoy being with him. Maci can't agree to joint custody or she will never be able to move to Nashville.

Totally disagree. IF Maci's parents watch Bentley it is because she's in school OR working. Ryan does neither. In reality, he should be taking care of Bentley when he has him and his parents should be in the background. It always looks like it's the other way around honestly.

Maci is working mother - no different then many women in the world. If she chooses to have her parents watch Bentley instead of utilizing day care then so be it. Ryan has always come off to me as the type who wants Bentley around so he can play with him when he wants or feed him if he feels like it, but would prefer someone else be there to do most of the work. That's how I felt when Maci and Ryan lived together and it seems the same way now.

Ryan doesn't have to be a good dad for Bentley to be upset when he has to leave him. Ryan could be giving him cupcakes and candy all day and Bentley would probably be peeved about going back to the house of discipline and vegetables.

In one of the episodes didn't Catelyn say her mother just got custody back of her little brother? I can't even imagine how she could get custody back of this child. She is living with/married to a man who just got out of jail, is addicted to drugs and says he'll never stop taking drugs (isn't that what he said before he went to jail? that he'll never stop?), she very obviously does drugs as well, is abusive to at least one of her children, doesn't appear to work (although that's not an issue) as well as doesn't appear to take care of her children ON CAMERA! I feel so bad for these kids, and yes, Catelyn is still a kid!
I don't agree that Tyler and Catelyn should be living together at his mom's but jeez, can you imagine how his mom feels after seeing what she sent Catelyn back to? Is there not a friend or someone else she could've stayed with?

I can't remember the exact verbiage but I remember when they were talking about getting her little brother back I didn't personally think it sounded like it involved the court system. I can't remember why though.

Has anyone seen the commercials with Maci on the cover of the magazine, I am thinking OK or US where they refer to Ryan as her slimy ex?

I am no Ryan fan, but he is the father of her child and does see Bentley everyweek, so to refer to him as slimy on national TV is really a sad thing to do.

I disagree, I think she has been way to nice to him for way to long. I'm glad she standing up for herself and Bentley

Did it just come out? I have the one from last week and didn't notice that. I think it said 'moving for love' or something.

As much as I don't like Ryan, I have to agree with you on this one. This isn't a soap opera, it's real life and as much as I cringe at Ryan's behavior, calling him slimy nationally can really be damaging. JMO.

Is it a quote from her or is it something the magazine could have printed on there?

You really think that calling him slime on national TV is a good thing to do???? Really????? Like I said I am no fan of Ryan, but I don't think its ever good to badmouth the other parent on national television.

FWIW, I saw the commercial last night during TMZ, yes I know I really need to get a life. Between TMZ and Teen Mom, my viewing habits need some work!

yeah it looks like the magazine said he was slimy, not Maci, its not quoted.

I guess it comes with the territory when they put themselves out there on the show, just don't think it's right. I'm not familiar with OK! magazine, but my guess is that it's a rag and slimy itself.

How many of you felt so bad for poor Leah last night? Amber is such trash and the way she acts towards Leah really makes me mad. I know some people do the "cry it out method" and personally, I don't believe in it, but whatever works for you, but she didn't even check on Leah and peek her head in to see if she was ok, and she didn't even want the monitor on. And telling Gary that LEah is now out of control b/c he was been watching her. What was she doing that was so out of control? She's a baby and Amber, by YOU SCREAMING at her, well thats not helping, its only making it worse. She's a baby, she doesn't understand what you are screaming about. AND she told Gary to smack her hand when she does something...ugh, I just couldn't believe what I Was seeing and hearing.

And THEN the way she acted when she kicked Gary out "Yeah Leah, your Daddy's leaving you again! Say Bye!" well Amber you keep telling him to leave! And then poor Leah, running to the window :sad2: And Amber just putting her in the crib to cry, that woman is not very maternal at all.

Farrah just hates her mother, I think they were trying but I think Farrah was being stubborn. There was nothing that her Dad could have done about the car, that wasn't his fault.

I was happy though for Caitlynn and Tyler, they are genuinely happy for Carly and know that they made the right decision for her, I just hope that April and Butch see this one day.

The scene where they showed Gary and his mom hugging, and then Amber and her friend hugging, and little Leah, all alone in her crib looking so sad just about broke my heart!

I did the cry method with my kids. But only when we knew that they were full, dry and comfortable in their beds. It was such a relief to get them on a good schedule so when it was time for a nap, all we had to do was put them down, and they would evenutally drift off. BUT last night Amber pissed me off with how she handled Leah waking up. Leah walked into her mommy's room got on her bed and pulled the covers off of her. She yelled at her. All she had to do was pick the baby up and cuddle with her, the child probably would have gone back to sleep, all she wanted was Mama. I couldnt believe she actually slammed the door when the baby was screaming. I got tickled when they were outside, and Leah started walking down the street, trying to get away from that "woman". But what got me, was when Amber kicked Gary out, she was yelling at Gary, and Leah was just laying there as if to say, "Mama is yelling at daddy again" then Gary left, and Leah walked over to the window and watched him drive off. I felt so sorry for that precious baby being stuck with that sorry excuse of a mother.

Also, I heard that in their People interview, Catelynn and Tyler said they wanted Carlie to be the flower girl at their wedding. WOW, I can't see Brandon and Theresa agreeing to that. Seems like they are too flexible as is considering they didnt want the biological parents involved in the first place.

I don't understand why Amber had to quit her job because Gary got a temp job. These 2 don't seem to have a clue about anything. That poor baby!

Wow what a hot mess Amber is. At first I thought it was both of them just sucking at being parents but honestly I really think it's all Amber and her immaturity. She is a brat. If I were Gary I would dump her and take Leah. He seems to take better care of Leah than Amber does.

Farrah, oh Farrah... again I still think the mom is crazy but Farrah is spoiled and showed that last night. As if Michael could stop the car from having problems, what exactly did they do to inconvenience Farrah? Took her to the zoo, had a bbq for her. What am I missing?

I wonder if the adoptive parents really give Carly the presents and photos Tyler and Caitlynn send them? I don't know if I would if I were in their shoes. Makes me wonder.

I guess we'll see next week right?

I felt so bad for Leah last night. I do not have kids yet myself but yelling at a child who is a little over a year to stop crying/yelling does not work. I can't believe the way Amber acts towards Leah. Even though I am not a huge fan of Gary, I think he is the better parent.

Also why did Amber have to quit her job when Gary got his? Wasn't she at one point getting help with daycare costs, couldn't Leah have gone back for awhile so that both of them could work.

Poor, poor Leah. I just wanna pick her up and give her a hug.

I can't believe Catelynn's mom would just up and leave to Vegas like that, especially when she knew her daughter might have an emotional time on Carly's birthday. :sad1:

As for Maci...I'm not sure how this move to Nashville will work out for her, but at least she's trying for Bentley.
