I have a few questions and I really don't feel like going back through all these pages to see if there is an answer.

1. Are these girls getting paid for being on this show. That would be the only explanation I have. I was a teen mom and there is NO WAY I could have afforded a nice apartment and a car note.

2. I know Farrah's boyfriend is passed away but does her boyfriends parents ever see this Sophia. Do they even know she exists? If they do why aren't they hlping this poor girl.

3. I can't believe these camera crews aren't required to hold some kind of liability toward these toddlers. Like calling CPS. (Ahem, AmberGary, caugh)

4. Maci and Ryan. Come on people. There are kids that live across the country away from the other parent let alone 2 hours away. I live here in TN and where they live now and Where she wants to live is realisticly not that far away. They can compramise and meet half way at Denny's or something. Ryans parents are just trying to control the situation IMHO.

I agree with you on #4. Driving an hour every other weekend and every Wednesday isn't that big of a deal - once school starts Wednesday would have to be eliminated though. I think Maci has been more then willing to work with Ryan for things and I'm shocked his parents don't see how easy going she really is with him.

Farrah was in a magazine I bought the other day. I noticed in there it said that she broke up with her boyfriend (Sophia's dad) at the urge of her parents and never even told him she was pregnant. My guess is they may not know about Sophia and/or are just finding out about it via this article or the show and her talking about him. Maybe they don't believe her. I don't know.

As a child with one heck of dysfunctional relationship with my mother I really feel for Farrah and her mother. I didn't like Farrah last season but as I watch her more and more I am getting it. I truly hope Farrah and her mother can work things out and I think going to the counselor together was GREAT. I do think her mother sometimes "acts" like Sophia may be Farrah as a child - kind of like I don't have the best relationship with my daughter but my granddaughter is "take 2".

I also think Catelynn's mother truly loves her but has her own issues. I think she takes things out on Catelynn which is unfortunate. I do want their relationship to work as well and think joint counseling may help quite a bit.

Maci - kudos to her - what a stand up woman/mother. She's a good person and I wish her and Bentley all the luck and love in the world.

Amber/Gary - very very very drama filled lives. I do think their daughter is absolutely gorgeous and could even be a 'baby model' - not that any of the other children are not adorable but I think she is just beautiful. Hopefully those two can find some common ground and work through it - otherwise it will be better for them to be done with each other. Bringing a child up in a drama filled house is never a good idea.

Just a question for those that think CPS needs to get involved in Amber and Gary's situation, not that I agree with their situation, but just a question. Okay, does Leah have a place to live? Is she dressed? Does she have food/diapers/essentials? By watching the show, she does. So what, if I may ask, should CPS investigate? Are they hitting her? Does she go without essentials? Yeah, Amber and Gary might not be parents of the year, but I don't see any reason for CPS to get involved. Trust me, I used to work for the court system in Child Protection areas. There are many kids who would love to go from the environment they were in with their parents to Amber and Gary's apartment.

Was anyone else alarmed when Caitlyn's younger brother was making out with the wall. It wasn't just a peck he did. It was open mouth and long. What 4 year old would do that? And then Butch laughed at it.
I can not believe what Caitlyn's mom called her friend. If I was that girls mom, I would not be happy. What right does that person have calling her daughter those names but also someone else's daughter.
I wonder if Farrah's attitude is from her parents making her break up with Sophia's father. I just get the feeling her mom made a rule of no discussing the father. We never once heard a thing about the father until Farrah was out of her parents home.
I think Ryan's parents need to cut the aprong strings. If he was grown enough to make a baby, he should be grown enough to support that baby. Maci works and goes to school. What does Ryan do?

I said the same thing to my sister, that child must see alot of stuff that a 4yr should never see.

They are getting paid. I'm not certain the amount, but I would say it was at least a few thousand. 16 and Pregnant girls get paid as well, all of this according to the Formsprings of some of the girls.

The other grandparents do know the baby exists and have tried to see the child, but Farrah won't allow it. Also, the father knew that she was for sure pregnant and was supposed to be very excited about the upcoming birth.

I think Farrah's mom likes to take little jabs at Farrah. When they were at the coffee house, her mom said Sophia needed to be caught up and be potty trained. Didn't Sophia just turn 1. Why is she behind? I know some people potty train early. But I would be very upset if my mom said my child was behind when it's not the case.

Did anyone see the original "16 and Pregnant" episode w/ Farrah? If so, what was said about the boyfriend at that time. I didn't see the episode myself but did hear that Farrah had broken off w/ him and didn't want anything to do w/ him. I know thats heresay and who knows what the mother had to do w/ it.

As I recall (and I did see it) Farrah was in the middle of breaking it off with him as things were not working out. He was being very aggressive towards her ... and it was best for Farrah and her family that she move on from the BF. Soon there after she found herself pregnant and did not want him to know at all. I believe from watching the show that Farrah never did tell him he was a dad and then he passed in a bad car accident. Farrah has regrets that he died not knowing he had a daughter.

Farrah's life looks so lonely. I feel bad for her. They always have pictures at the end of the show and Farrah is always alone with Sophia.

Also I thought I read that the paternal grandparent were involved in a lawsuit with Farrah for visitation/custody of Sophia.

Not if he had never worked. I think he was still in high school.

As for Maci and Ryan, I agree that Maci seems like a good mom, but remember she is going to school and working full time. Her mom is probably taking care of the baby most of the time. So she is not that much different than Ryan in that respect. Also Ryan would be foolish to not a legal custody agreement. In these situations it is always best for both parties to legally spell out visitation and custody. I am not sure how the show is edited, but Ryan must be a good dad. Bentley really seems to love him and enjoy being with him. Maci can't agree to joint custody or she will never be able to move to Nashville.

I could be wrong but doesn't Bentley go to day care. I'm sure her parents probably do also help though.

I just feel that Ryan really could take or leave Bentley. Its like his parents are telling him that he has to do this, he has to do that, etc etc. He's useless IMHO, is he going to school? He doesn't have a job, he's a young man there is no excuse. I also think his new GF needs to butt out, its not her child and this really doesn't concern her at all. Yes, Maci is working, going to school, running around like a chicken w/o a head with a baby in tow, but she is doing it ALL for her baby. She is trying to make a better life for him, doing what she needs to do.

Gary and Amber...IDK, every time I see Amber she is laying in bed or yelling at Gary. Their daughter is adorable though!

Yes, I wondered that too as she is looking so thin esp in that black dress she had on before going out w/the girls.


I will tell you, April, Catelynn's mom, so needs to be on medication. She is one very depressed woman and it is nasty how she speaks to Catelynn. And esp with the little brother around, all the swearing. Just so disturbing. I have never seen her in all the epi's w/o a cigarette in her mouth.

Has anyone noticed as Bentley gets older how much he looks exactly like Maci. I do not see Ryan in him at all if anything he looks more like Kyle than Ryan.

I am glad Farrah and her mom are slowly patching things up ... Sophia needs her grandmother and Farrah does need her mom. Did anyone notice how she left Sophia on the kitchen counter ... ugh. Even her friend was there.

Gary/Amber ... ugh. They generally have 5 minutes of the show where they are civil to each other and then it just spirals downhill after that and then the whole vicious circle starts again.
