I usually order items on the net from places that I know like Shop NBC etc. Occasionally, I find things I want at smaller 'stores' but am afriad that they are just scam sites to get my credit card info. I know when I see the little padlock at the bottom of the page the site is protected BUT can the person from whom I purchase the product see my info or does it become encrypted and go directly to the credit card co?
