Team Renfroe trip report with TONS of pics & reviews

This is way too funny but I just hung up the phone with Dis Dining and changed my CP breakfast ressie to Ohana at 7:30 am :rotfl2: :rotfl:

We are staying at the Poly in August so it will be super easy to get there early and we have done CP so many times but never Ohana...the pics of the bread and fruit makes me think I did the right thing!

Was it very crowded that early? I figure if we get the first seating it wont be too awful.

Love the new installments Alan!! I had reservations for Yachtsman but changed them to Jiko, I hope I did not make a mistake:( . Glad to see that your daughter was feeling much better. We went to Ohana's for breakfast before and thought that it was great. Can't wait to read more.

What's up, DCanoli! I just wanted to say that I think I'd keep O'Hana. I've read that it is REALLY good, and I would hate to steer you to Y&Y instead of O'Hana. Don't get me wrong...I LOVED Yak & Yeti, but I probably wouldn't trade an O'Hana ADR for a Y&Y ADR.

Dude! Well, too stinkin' late!

I called, and GUESS WHAT?

SOLD OUT ALL DAY -- LUNCH AND DINNER!

So, O'Hana stays!!! (You were lucky!)

Glad your DD was feeling better!

I loved Ohana for breakfast, too! We're going back again this trip because we loved it so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it, also.

Woo hoo!! I'm so happy your daughter was back to her spunky, smiling cute little self!!!! Your kids are both so adorable! Love those smiles!
Yummm Ohanas is also on my list for our trip and you are just making me happier with my choices!!! Thank you so much!!:worship:
Looking forward to your epcot day and having so much fun sharing all of your families memories!! It will be sad when this trip report ends.

First off, I'm so glad your DD was feeling all better! :goodvibes 'Ohana looks like so much fun (gotta love Stitch!) Can't wait for some Epcot fun! :woohoo:

Hi Alan!:wave2: I've been keeping up with your TR and I love it so much I figured I might as well come out of lurkdom. Your kids are adorable. Kudos to your DS for being so adventurous with his food:worship: at 11 there is no way I would've even looked at half of the things he ate.:rotfl: Now, I'm almost 20 but for some reason the Alien thing in GMR and the spiders in ITTBAB still totally FREAK me out:scared1: I squeeze my eyes shut every time and scoot closer to my momma, who just sits there and laughs at me:rolleyes2 Isn't EE the best, me and Eric(my bro) rode it for the first time last Sept. and loved it so much we rode it 4 times in a row! So glad you liked 'Ohana:thumbsup2 We're eating breakfast there on Christmas Eve:cool1: and I'm sooooooo looking forward to it. It's great that your DD started feeling a little better and got to enjoy AK. Well, I'm devastated;) that your TR is coming to an end, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the ride. God bless and all the best.

My last trip to WDW was 12 years ago. I have enjoyed your trip report and photos. I am having a wonderful time reading about the Animal Kingdon since it wasn't there during my last visit. Your report has really got me in the Disney mood. I can't wait until I am there. Thanks again for a wonderful report.

So Glad your DD was feeling better, your breakfast at Ohana's looked fantastic
Its another thing I must try:thumbsup2

Your breakfast at Ohana looked YUMMY!! You can sure tell that your DD was feeling so much better at breakfast! I hope to someday try that pineapple bread, it looks so delicious!!! Can't wait to hear about your upcoming day at Epcot!

It was a LONG day, but we had an awesome time! Day 4 review:
We all rode Test Track twice, Soarin' twice, and DS & I rode Mission Space twice. We all did The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Turtle Talk with Crush, and Honey I Shrunk the Audience. We had lunch at Le Cellier, went back to Coronado Springs, picked up our refillable mugs at the Pepper Market, spent some time at the pool, then went to dinner at Narcoossee's. We went back to Epcot for a little while, then back to the room. Awesome day!

As the nice lady at Narcoossee's said, this is the time of our lives!

Reading this brings tears to my eyes. I'm not sure why, perhaps it is the way you sum up the day. You guys are, indeed, having the time of your lives. This is the best trip report I've read. We are staying at CSR in August and you have given me so much information. Thank you. Now, having said that, more please!

I love the photo of your DW,DS & DD all laughing it's precious!. Your DS & DD look like great mates ;), are they always this happy together?, if so you'll have to tell me your secret....:rotfl: the photo's of the 2 of them are adorable :goodvibes . Breakfast look's lovely and I too love Mickey Waffles....My eldest DD has an Egg, Nut & Kiwi Allergy and she loves the fresh pancakes that she has made for her when we go for breakfast but we haven't tried Ohana's yet so maybe?. Looking forward to reading about your day at Epcot :thumbsup2

Breakfast at O'Hana's looks like so much fun and the food looks really good too! So glad your DD was feeling better. She definitely looks like she's having a great time.::yes::

Thanks, TCKK! I was so worried that DD was not going to get better, but she definitely started boucing back! You can tell from her personality in the pictures that she's feeling better.

I think that's a good move, Nicki! You guys will have a blast at the 'Ohana breakfast. I don't think it should be extraordinarily busy at that time of the morning. There was a good crowd the day we were there, but it never seemed crowded.

The bread alone is worth the trip!!! :thumbsup2 I could've taking a few loaves home with me!

Love the new installments Alan!! I had reservations for Yachtsman but changed them to Jiko, I hope I did not make a mistake:( . Glad to see that your daughter was feeling much better. We went to Ohana's for breakfast before and thought that it was great. Can't wait to read more.

Melissa

Hi Melissa! Based on the wonderful reviews I've read about Jiko, I think you'll love it...so I don't think you made a mistake. However, if you get a chance to check out Yachtsman, I would definitely recommend it! If I could go back, I would order the chilled seafood salad appetizer and the lamb entree.

Dude! Well, too stinkin' late!

I called, and GUESS WHAT?

SOLD OUT ALL DAY -- LUNCH AND DINNER!

So, O'Hana stays!!! (You were lucky!)

:rotfl: Hey DCanoli! I guess it was meant to be! It is at least good to know that Yak & Yeti is starting to build in popularity!

Glad your DD was feeling better!

I loved Ohana for breakfast, too! We're going back again this trip because we loved it so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it, also.

Yeah, Ohana breakfast was GREAT. I hope I can schedule dinner there next time we go.

Thanks, SunnieRN! We were glad to see her feeling better also! I hate to see kids get sick, especially at Disney!

I'm glad my report has helped give you confidence in your choices for your upcoming trip!

We still have several installments left on the trip report...no worries!

Still loving the great trip report! Thank you once again for sharing:)

You are SO welcome! Thanks, BellaSwan!

Thanks, Figment's Friend! We love Stitch...you gotta love a character that can be so mischievious and cute at the same time!

Hi Kimberly! I hung around in lurkdom myself for awhile, so I know what you mean! Anyway, welcome!

Don't you think the Alien thing in GMR is unnecessary? I want to know who declared "Alien" to be some cinematic masterpiece in the first place? Why not be a little more Disney-friendly and have E.T. or something?

EE IS THE BEST! Loved it more than anything else.

Thanks for your kind comments, and God Bless you as well!

Hey Rachel! It's funny how we ate and ate at all these great places, but with the Ohana breakfast it was more about having fun than the meal itself. Still, that pineapple bread was outstanding!

Ummm... when will that next trip be exactly? Soon? Really soon? No pressure...:rolleyes1

:rotfl: :rotfl2: Hmm....I'm not feeling any pressure, but yet I'm thinking we will need another WDW trip in the near future!

For now, there's still several installments left to go!

Hey Marianna! I hope you enjoy 'Ohana as much as we did. Tutto Italia review will be forthcoming!

The face paint stayed on over night?!! That's some face paint!!!!
Great review of Ohana! Can't wait for more! :thumbsup2

I don't know if I would say it "stayed on" so much as just needing to get the rest off!! It was pretty smeared by the end of the Day!

Your breakfast at Ohana looked YUMMY!! You can sure tell that your DD was feeling so much better at breakfast! I hope to someday try that pineapple bread, it looks so delicious!!! Can't wait to hear about your upcoming day at Epcot!

Hi, Cory's Gal. you GOTTA try that bread...wow!

Awww...thank you, stepdisney! I now know what they mean when you hear people talk about "Disney magic." It is just a wonderful place to be.

More on the way!

Hello Karen! It's funny you should mention that....they can be best friends OR worst enemies, depending on the day! He can be the typical aggrevating big brother and she can be the typical annoying lil sis....but they definitely love each other, and sometimes they even act civil towards one another!

I have to agree with you about the waffles. They were great! I think it is great the way they can accommodate things like people with allergies, special dietary needs, etc. They certainly make everyone feel special.
