Team Renfroe trip report with TONS of pics & reviews

This picture makes me again anxious for our trip in three months. I've not been thinking about our trip the last couple of days because my dad is very ill and here is a good chance he will be leaving us within a few weeks. I've been very sad and blue and your report has made me smile. I can't wait to read more.

Awww....I am very sorry about your dad's situation. May God bless your family. I am SOO happy to know that my report has made you smile today!

DW & DD8 had dinner reservations for 5:15pm for Cinderella's Royal Table, while DS11 & I had reservations at 5:15pm for Tony's Town Square.

Our DD didn't know it, but we bought her a nice tiara to wear for her big night at the castle! We surprised her with it as she was getting ready for the evening.

We got to the bus stop around 4:15pm and a Magic Kingdom bus came right away.

Thank you for the wishes.

Love the pictures of your daughter and Cinderella.

Your family is too cute. You can just see the excitement in everyone's eyes. Keep up the great reports! :)

Unfortunately, I think DW must have gotten caught up in the moment. She forgot to take pictures of most of the food, but here are a few she did take:

According to DW, the food was....uh....less than stellar. She said that if you were planning on coming here for the food, you would be disappointed. The experience of eating in Cinderella's Castle, however, was totally worth it.

(apparently, this was a chocolate crown that DD devoured! LOVE the ice cream on her nose!)

After dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table, DW & DD rode Dumbo, then went back to Mickey's Philharmagic for a 2nd time!

After that, DW called me on my cell phone and we all met up to ride Peter Pan's Flight. After DW & DD rode Peter Pan's flight, the weather was beginning to look like rain again, so they headed back to Coronado Springs.

Next up....the guys tackle Tomorrowland & Tony's Town Square.

I LOVE THAT TIARA! :) That must have made the whole experience even more magical!

Alan,

Wow, those are really wonderful photos!!. Your daughter is trully a princess.

We are going to WDW this Sept., and it just happens that my daughter will be six during the trip. We are trying to get a dining reservation at Cinderella's and seeing your photos I can hardly wait for it.

Regards,

Luis

I am TOTALLY subscribing! This is one of the best trip reports I have read in a long time. I feel like I am on vacation with you guys! We love to refer to ourselves at the Griswolds (especially at Christmas time) though I am more like Clark than my DH is, LOL.

Can I ask how you handled sleeping arrangements? We have a daughter who is 2 and are expecting a son in a few months. I am wondering how long they will share a bed on vacation before they don't want to anymore (yes, I am planning waaaaaaay ahead!)

Yes, she was thrilled! We had talked about doing the BBBoutique, but she decided that she was a little too old for all of that. She wasn't expecting the tiara....that's what made it special!

By the way, I'm digging your trip report! Keep it up!

Thanks, Luis! Hope all is well with you in Venezuela!

When you make your trip in September, be sure to let your servers know about your daughter's birthday....they usually do something special for birthdays! I hope you can get a dining reservatioon at Cinderella's! Best of luck!

Wow! Thanks VERY much! This is my first attempt at a trip report so I'm trying to be as descriptive as possible. Glad you are joining us on our vacation!

We ADORE the Griswolds, and I am totally Clark! My wife makes fun of me for it, but that's what she loves about me! I will drive 2 hours out of the way to see the House of Mud! and I will lose it with disgruntled relatives in a heatbeat! :rotfl2:

As for our sleeping arrangements, we went with guys in one bed, girls in the other. DW & I figured this is not the vacation for romance...so she slept with DD8 and I slept with DS11. (fortunately, he is a good sleeper and stays in one place! DD wiggles all over the bed!) I think our kids were around 5 and 8 when they decided they didn't want to sleep in the same bed, primarily because DS is SO independent.

I love her tiara and dress very fancy. I am sorry you wife didn't like CRT. The breakfast is much better.

Just perfect for a girl her age at CRT. Please tell your DD that I love her shoes! I want my own pair!

The pics of your daughter and Cindy are adorable! I probably would have inhaled the chocolate crown too! Looks like the two ladies had a wonderful dinner!!

Can't believe I missed the fact you updated!
I love the tiara! You DD looks fantastic and like she really enjoyed herself, sorry the food wasn't as good as your DW expected but as she says, she got to eat in the castle which isn't an everyday occurence!!! :rotlf:

I am so loving this report.
