Team 'Ohana 2009: Miles/Minutes

Updated to here...I'm soooo tardy.

Let's hope with January training, our little lost cousins come back to play. :cool1:

Long lost cousin reporting in....

JULY numbers:

120.07 miles
893 minutes

AUGUST numbers:

20.45 miles
287 minutes

I wish I could count all the walking around WDW that we did in Aug.
Most of my Aug numbers are from AKV treadmills and beach walking:cloud9:

Woo hoo, Kathy! Thanks for the update. (I have to admit, I'm jealous of your August totals and what that meant you were doing for the month! :upsidedow)

Now, on to some serious Goofy training! And no, that's not an oxymoronic statement!

Hello Cousins! I can not believe that here I am, September is not even over and I am here to report my numbers! It's a miracle!

With the doubled miles for the DL Half, I had

100.5 miles.

1302 minutes

:yay:

Well, I am not as speedy as Corinna in running or reporting, but here are my Sept #s:

71.46 miles
773 minutes

Debra - I need a ruling on a question. Do I double the miles for my Tour de Cure event?

For September --

Dennis: 70 miles/940 minutes

Maria: 85.494 miles/1,481 minutes

Go Team O'Hana!

Maria :upsidedow

The doubled miles for the DL half and the ING half really help make me look like I'm doing something

miles:115
minutes: 1341

personally, the toughest 2 miles were ones I didn't even count-- biking to the park with a very tired DD6, trying to bike slow enough to stay behind her but keep enough momentum to not fall over on the bike

Richard, I think I missed this post somehow....Yes, you double the miles. :goodvibes

Updated to here.

My own numbers are still lacking because I forget to carry my Garmin with me to upload the numbers into my own tracking sheet. DOH!
On the up side, I did get DOOD to give me his numbers for both August and September, including his 50K.

My totals for August:

Miles: 132.25
Hours: 31.25

and for September:

Miles: 155.7(includes double miles for DL 1/2)
Hours: 38.25

Richard, I think I missed this post somehow....Yes, you double the miles. :goodvibes

Thanks, I assumed so. It felt really good to double 59.5 miles to 119 miles!
You'll get used to using the Garmin and bringing forward your numbers. i really liked how the Garmin unit stores so much info when I updated my computer last year and it still had all my historical info in it. Also the numbers geek in me comes out when I get to examine all the details in it as I do the computer download, which I have set up to auto lap each mile. Sometimes I can spend 20 minutes analyzing a 30 minute run.

Hello cousins, sorry to be so late, but life is a little crazy right now.:upsidedow

Here's my data for September:
130.3 miles (double for the DL half); 27:24 hrs:min

Now that I am doing more long walks I am spending less time on the spin bike and so my overall mileage has gone down even though my pedestrian miles are up.

Richard, I envy the way you are able to use your Garmin to analyse your progress. I am a numbers person also and would love to be able to use my Garmin the way it was intended and not just as a pedometer with a stopwatch. One of these days I will sit down with the manual and figure out how to do it. I'm just a little scared of anything that has to do with technology! :confused3

Whew! It wasn't easy, but I found the thread!

Dennis: 32 miles/735 minutes -- not bad for someone who had knee surgery halfway through the month!

Maria: 58.562 miles/976 minutes

Go Team Ohana!

Maria :upsidedow

Hooray for Maria! Digging up the Miles/Minutes thread, and all!

I had two races this month for an extra 16.2 miles, already included in these numbers:

Miles: 94.87
Minutes: 1172.4
