The doubled miles for the DL half and the ING half really help make me look like I'm doing something
miles:115
minutes: 1341
personally, the toughest 2 miles were ones I didn't even count-- biking to the park with a very tired DD6, trying to bike slow enough to stay behind her but keep enough momentum to not fall over on the bike
Richard, I think I missed this post somehow....Yes, you double the miles.
Updated to here.
My own numbers are still lacking because I forget to carry my Garmin with me to upload the numbers into my own tracking sheet. DOH!
On the up side, I did get DOOD to give me his numbers for both August and September, including his 50K.
Thanks, I assumed so. It felt really good to double 59.5 miles to 119 miles!
You'll get used to using the Garmin and bringing forward your numbers. i really liked how the Garmin unit stores so much info when I updated my computer last year and it still had all my historical info in it. Also the numbers geek in me comes out when I get to examine all the details in it as I do the computer download, which I have set up to auto lap each mile. Sometimes I can spend 20 minutes analyzing a 30 minute run.
Hello cousins, sorry to be so late, but life is a little crazy right now.
Here's my data for September:
130.3 miles (double for the DL half); 27:24 hrs:min
Now that I am doing more long walks I am spending less time on the spin bike and so my overall mileage has gone down even though my pedestrian miles are up.
Richard, I envy the way you are able to use your Garmin to analyse your progress. I am a numbers person also and would love to be able to use my Garmin the way it was intended and not just as a pedometer with a stopwatch. One of these days I will sit down with the manual and figure out how to do it. I'm just a little scared of anything that has to do with technology!
