Team Focker Watch - Version 8: When V's Away.. The "Katt" will Play

Just wanted to post some pics of our finished playroom.

Here's the Cubeical thing I made a few nights ago. It's full of girlie toys!

Here's the kitchen/house area.

And here's the area that we set up so that DD7 can play "Webkinz School." Basically, she puts all of her stuffed animals out on the floor and "teaches" them at the dry-erase board. I just hung the bulletin board a few hours ago and she already has her lists hung up!

And finally, the dress-up area. As you can tell by the saying on the wall: "It's not easy being a Princess!"

Next up, organizing my scrapbooking stuff....

The wall stuff is through a company called Uppercase Living. It's a home show type business. I bought the stuff at a party. I think they have a website though. You can get stuff in different sizes and colors. I could spend a fortune there!

OMG. Dr. Seigle is a sadist. I'm sure of it. He needled it again. It's all blurry and feels bad. He said that I have to go back and see him on Monday. I don't know why he wants to see me again so soon. That makes me nervous. Oh well. I'm trying to remain optomistic but it's incredibly hard. Bob just feels so bad for me.

However, all of this did NOT stop us from looking at new cars on the way home. I also talked Bob into taking me to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch.
We looked at Subaru Forrester, Hyundai Santa Fe, Honda CRV (I'm a Honda girl, I'm driving a Pilot now and it's my 8th Honda!!) and the Saturn Vue. They are all 4wd or AWD. Bob just got a call back on the Forrester. He said they'll do 1000 down and $389 a month. I don't know... I hate the "do it NOW and make your choice or LOSE the deal" thingy. Makes me feel pressured. And I have to still make 2 payments on the Pilot. The 1K is in savings, but I hate to take any out with things the way they are right now. It's so nerve wracking! Bob said, "You have about an hour to decide."

Does this mean that they WON'T make us the same deal in a month? That is strange!

What do you guys think?

Now his Dad is from there butwhat 6 year old wants a Crimson Tide room when he lives in the North !!It's not completely done yet but he has the bedding ,flags and stickers and a lightswitsch next is a lamp and garbage can ! The good thing is he wont outgrow it !!

We've got a sitter for my b-day Saturday. We're going to a bat mitzvah party for the daughter of some friends, so we're looking forward to an evening out with dinner and dancing.

BA just spent most of her Christmas money on a D&B purse--she really loves it. Ab has a "thing" about nice handbags--she says her heart beats faster when she is around nice purses in a dept store (she was in heaven at Nordstrom last week). She says "you can pull off wearing sweats if you have a nice handbag"
This goes along with her prior tip of "you feel better about yourself when you're wearing VS underwear"

We watched It's a Wonderful Life earlier, I hadn't watched it since I was about 17 and I blahed my eyes out, it's such a lovely film, the girls didn't think so though We then had chinese takeaway and are having a cosy evening
