Morning, all!

Morning CE :wave2:

No idea what we're doing today. Grandma did well with our bowling outing yesterday, but Mom says she only likes to go out once a day, so, for example, if we wanted to go out to dinner tonight, we have to leave her here during the day. D & Woody might go skiing with the neighbors this afternoon only.[/QUOTE}

Glad Grandma seems to be getting around ok!:goodvibes

Not that I'm bitter. :lmao:

No, not at all!;)

Ooooh Disney Pimpin'....

I was surprised to see the limited Fantasmic schedule, and this made me think.....do you think they'll limit Wishes or Illuminations TOO????

MEL

I don't think so Mel, as I think those are both more popular than Fantasmic, at least IMHO! ALthough I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. My mom said they are making all kinds of cuts. FT staff has been cut to 32 hours a week and they aren't replacing anyone that is leaving right now. Apparently, even with the 4 for 3 deal, they aren't getting the bookings like they thought they would!

If I remember when I signed up it took a day or two for the coupons to come through. Unfortunately I deleted mine before I thought to ask if anyone needed them. Sorry!:flower3:
Are they still in your trash bin? :confused3

Not that I saw. Spectro isn't every night, but that's normal. :wizard:

D leaves for Vero on Thursday, and I think my parents may go sometime around there - the weather here doesn't look great, though they should drive out of it fairly easily. I did frankly say to Mom that it would probably be best if they were gone by Sunday so that the boys and I can get at least one normal day before school starts back up. Of course, then we leave to go to the frickin' party the Friday after that, so "normal" won't last long. :headache: Not that I'm bitter. :lmao:
I wondered what happened about the party. popcorn::

That's sad. :guilty: But I hope it equals less crowds for us.

You too S'late... Actually... along those lines...When I had to have bladder surgery ( as mine had dropped ) when the Dr. was testing my bladder to see if I really NEEDED to surgery... I NAILED HIM:rotfl2:

It was only water.... COLD WATER.. I thought the nurse was going to fall on the floor laughing:lmao: Apparently he did not duck soon enough or far enough:rotfl2:

:rotfl:

Mel, we thought briefly about driving in October, but then I found a great deal on AirTran and with the price of gas last summer, our decision was made! :thumbsup2

We still think about driving every once in awhile though. Maybe next time.... if flights are too bad. But then again, our drive would be at least 3 hours shorter than yours.

Maybe they shouldn't have messed with the chicken strips, switch back to white buns, and stock more than 12 pineapples at the Poly. :rolleyes1

Blimey you load of old chatterboxes you :rotfl2:

Yes, I'd like to know this too, Jo. We're going to be there in 3 wks or so....
DTD to SSR is a lovely stroll, takes about 15 minutes :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Yes, now that we rub elbows with the stars, I don't want it to end! :rolleyes1
:rotfl2:

Hello all!
Hi Kat, sounds like a busy time!!!

HIs argument is having our own car so we can go do other things :faint:. I think I am going to investigate renting a car for a day or 2 and see if I can talk him into that instead!
I rented a car for the day from the Disney Car Centre quite cheaply :thumbsup2 How far would the drive be???

Hi everyone. Just woke up from a 3 hour nap. My fever won't break. I am thinking there better be a miracle before tomorrow AM. I am also coughing up a lung, which is amplified with my asthma. Yuck! I can't stand this virus. I had the flu shot too.
Hope you're feeling better today

S'all gone.

It's really embarrassing. I just seem to get myself into trouble.

It's the latin fiah I have running through my veins.
I noticed your siggie had gone, e-mail me :rotfl2:

So, I finally got the chance to watch the Disney Christmas parade and I was wondering about the Kim Possible spy thing at the World Showcase. :yay: I have to find out about that!!! :thumbsup2
The Kim thing sounds really fun, let us know :thumbsup2

Did I mention that C found out about Santa thanks to a big mouth grampa of our neighbor's? I'll have to post about it on my blog tomorrow. :sad2:
No way, that's terrible!!!

So far Sara still "Believes" . But Santa "calls" here and he leaves notes...so that's a big contributor.
I am going to break the news to her myself in a few weeks.
Don't!!!!!! I'm never telling my girls, it spoils the magic!

Good morning everybody!
Hi Lessa :goodvibes

What do you guys think?
Oh, and I have to put a meet with Angela and Mitch in there somewhere and a meet with Yani and Z....
Looks good!

an 11 year old who at least pretends he still believes and has never asked, so we may get more time - and he is VERY smart. ;) Perhaps he's so smart he knows not to say anything, but it works.
Exactly, both my girls say they believe even Jess, but I've always said if you don't believe you don't get so they're being smart :rotfl2:

I was surprised to see the limited Fantasmic schedule, and this made me think.....do you think they'll limit Wishes or Illuminations TOO????
I really hope not and I doubt it but I was reading a Trivia book and it said how much the fireworks cost each night and it's ridiculously high!!!!

Shopping wasn't very sucessful today, Jess got 2 tops and Ellie got 2 DS games. No boots at all, there weren't many left or the heals were all too high. That's the problem with Jess as she has UK size 8 feet (US 9.5 I think) all the shoes are adult!!!!

It would be disappointing if that happened but it would not surprise me. Those fireworks shows cost A LOT! And with booking levels what they are and the economy... :sad2:

LY Jo....and I'm totally kidding! Thanks for the help on the SSR walk. I can do 15 minutes, so long as it's not AUGUST! :headache:

I understand! I'm a US 9.5 and I don't wear heels at all. It's almost impossible to find something practical in that size!

*waiting to see how long it takes to convert height from centimenters to feet and inches*

Depending on traffic 17 - 18 hours!

It doesn't surprise they couldn't find boots. I was in Target the day after Christmas and they had bathing suits out

======================================================

So here is the latest plan for August.

Drive :sad2: Leaving Philly 8/15 (late night early morning) and arriving at Universal Studios on 8/16. Stay at US the 16th & 17th. CHeck out on the 18th and Check into Pop Century. Stay at Pop Century 8/18 to 8/27. Check out early on the 27th, drive until we don't feel like driving anymore and stopping for the evening/night (Probably somewhere around the NC/VA border. Get up early on the 28th and be back in Philly by early afternoon.

Does anyone know if US offers any codes:confused:

Hey we use ft and inches for height :snooty:

Jess is 5ft 4 :faint: And I don't know what that is in cm :rotfl:

Don't know about US codes...

It's about 9 hrs from WDW to Charlotte. Just so you know. We did it in pouring rain, so you can do it in less maybe...

:headache: I had a WHOLE SLEW of things to comment on and Sara took MY COMPUTER.. and closed up everything:headache: .

 JANET.... Your the Focker that I am definitely supposed to "Meet" with in August. AM I RIGHT .. or AM I RIGHT :cool2:

I have been looking at June date for the past 6 weeks for Disney...so far --June 10-17 and 17-24 are still available. I need to book that today.

No DDP 's this time... at least for June ( maybe August) but I am utilizing the non expire when we go in June so I already have my tickets for August. Comes out cheaper than buying two 5 or 6 day tickets

Crazy Brunch day,,, Kind of like a Saturday...

Dawn... hoping that WW works for you. I've got to get back to the "Y" till I have my surgery.. that will put a kink in the work outs
