I think it's just a credit card hold - they charge your card if you don't show up.

T - sorry to hear the kids are sick! Hope they feel better soon! And LOL - I forgot the story about the pinecone! :lmao:

Janet - keep an eye on Mousesavers too for US discounts, just in case.

Mel - Sorry - no Airtran coupons...:sad2: Good luck finding another one though. My vote would be to just fly Southwest

Hey speaking of January trips - is Space Mountain still closing in January?? Listening to an old podcast and they're saying SM is supposed to close in January for like a year or so...

OOOH - forgot to tell you all...I made O'Hana's bread pudding & banana's foster on Christmas Eve...it was goooo-ooood!!!! Not quite the same as being there though...but yummy all the same!!

Well, lunch is just about over...guess I better go get something done.

Even if it's wrong...

Later gals!

I got ALL of my ressies. Except I thought they were supposed to start taking ressies at T-Rex after the first of the year??? Are they not doing that?

So, here goes...

3/22...MK. Dinner at Ohana's at 5:25. Wishes & Spectro
3/23...Epcot. Illuminations. (first time!!)
3/24...AK. We got Tusker House ressies at 1:05 for preferred Nemo seating!
3/25...MK. Chef Mickey's at 5:10.
3/26...MGM. (I refuse to call it DHS) We got fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose at 4:40.
3/27...MK. Boma at 6:15.
2/28...Departure day...DTD.

I don't remember the killer pinecone:confused:

Ask poor Jess - this pinecone or tree branch came crashing down on her shoulder or arm. I can't remember. :confused3

At any rate, she took one for the team - if one of the younger ones had been hit, they would have really been hurt. ::yes::

And honestly, the walk isn't THAT long from DTD to SSR...:lmao:

Sorry T - couldn't resist!

Jen - sounds like some good plans. I'm dying to check out T-Rex now, especially after seeing pictures and I seem to recall V saying the food was awesome.

Big, heavy sigh...I miss V...:guilty:

Hey - have any of you seen this???

http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=29185361&postcount=1

Skeeery! I already wouldn't let Michael go back in there because I felt so out of control and couldn't keep an eye on him before, but now I definitely won't be going back...

We only let Jimmy in there once and after reading that it will be the ONLY time he ever goes in there!

Janet - keep an eye on Mousesavers too for US discounts, just in case.

Ooh, good call..thanks LL!:thumbsup2

Hey Rachel. Are the kids excited about starting new schools?

I'm interested Rach!

I forgot to tell you guys, I got a free gym membership for a year from one of my co-workers. He owns the gym...he gave it to our entire staff!

I guess I HAVE to do it...if it's free and all. :sad2:

Just popping in to say hello!

Here are some quick    for those in need.

Still have my deadline hanging over my head. I'm twiddling thumbs until I get a call from the client. He said he'd call around 1:30, so not too much longer. If we can get all the loose ends handled, I should be able to get home for dinner tonight! :yay: I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :worship:

Once that's over I'll go back and read the 10+ pages that I'm behind. From the last couple of posts, it looks like there's a move for a TFW WW group. I'm all in favor, and in. :thumbsup2 I've been on the new plan for the last two weeks, and sticking to it.

TTFN!

Hey Rachel. Are the kids excited about starting new schools?

yes!!! regan didn't want to move for the last 2 months, but finally within the last 2 weeks she says it's okay! she actually told me "i'm okay to move". i asked her if it was something mommy or daddy said and she said "no, my head told me" lol :rotfl2: it was too funny.

we actually took them to their schools to enroll. regan will go to a different school cuz her school is all open classroom. too much distraction for her. my mom's friend teaches at another elementary school only 3 miles from our house so we got her transferred there. they were all so nice when we went to visit. the kids were not in school that day. but, the principal actually unlocked her classroom and let her see it. they even put a new desk in there for her. she was very excited. once we get past the 1st week and get our routine down, it will be better.

I'm interested Rach!

We all have to fly to WDW next weekend for our first weigh-in. Then we go down once a month for, say, a year, for weigh-ins. Sound like a plan?

I wondered what happened about the party. popcorn::

Oh, sorry. I might not have ever said what we ended up with. MIL is paying, we found flights for $1000 even (for the 4 of us) that leave Friday night at 5:30 (perfect) and are direct into O'Hare. Southwest's fares actually went down from $1250 to $728, but the times were not as good, and one way was through BWI. Plus, they go to Midway, and MIL lives much closer to O'Hare. We are trying not to rent a car, so that's easier for her to come get us. Then we'll get back around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. I am still not thrilled with missing 2 days of school, but at least it's not in the first week back. And we've not seen money from MIL yet, either, but... And she's pissy that we aren't in until after dinner on Friday, but she will just have to deal. :p So there. :rotfl:

Morning CE :wave2:

Hi, Janet!

Glad Grandma seems to be getting around ok!:goodvibes

It's going pretty well! :thumbsup2

Maybe they shouldn't have messed with the chicken strips, switch back to white buns, and stock more than 12 pineapples at the Poly. :rolleyes1

:rotfl:

Exactly, both my girls say they believe even Jess, but I've always said if you don't believe you don't get so they're being smart :rotfl2:

There you go... :thumbsup2

Shopping wasn't very sucessful today, Jess got 2 tops and Ellie got 2 DS games. No boots at all, there weren't many left or the heals were all too high. That's the problem with Jess as she has UK size 8 feet (US 9.5 I think) all the shoes are adult!!!!

I'm sorry! We need to go out - but that's a whole other deal. I have size 10 feet, I feel her pain.

*waiting to see how long it takes to convert height from centimenters to feet and inches*

:hyper:

:rotfl:

Depending on traffic 17 - 18 hours!

FWIW, we do the 18 hour drive to IL at least once a year. The boys have been doing it since about 6 months old, so maybe that's part of it, but it's not that bad with a DVD player and Leapsters. Also, if you guys feel comfortable driving at night, that's been a godsend for us. We try to drive a lot overnight, as then the kids are sleeping and NOT complaining in the back, if that makes sense?

Darn. What a letdown about no need to convert the height. ;)

5'4"??? I'm 4'11".

Jon...well...he's still my little bitty.

I'm 4' 11 & 3/4" :rotfl2: and no, I don't leave out that 3/4!!

Midgets.

So last night Evan woke up around 2am spiking a fever. Just GREAT! Maddie started back with the chest congestion, so I've decided to take them both to the Dr. this afternoon. 4pm is the only available time they have! :faint:

Looks like I'm stuck at home today. Oh well.... guess I'll have to play some Wii!

I'm sorry the kiddos are sick, but have fun with the Wii. I might get on this afternoon...

Hi, Rachel!

************************************************
Well, after much thinking and worrying, Woody decided he did want to go skiing, so he and D were heading off for a half-day pass. We decided to send my dad to go watch, as it was better than sitting here at home. Then Buzz, who had no interest when we mentioned it earlier, wanted to go skiing - which would have required me to go, because he's not near as good as Woody and D couldn't take them both. We hated to tell Buzz no, but it was going to be awful to try to get all four of us, plus dad and maybe mom, out of the house and then have grandma alone, etc. Sigh.

So, D is going to take JUST Buzz tomorrow afternoon. He seems OK with that.

I need to shop for my dad, but no one here is moving very fast. I have NO ideas for him, and I think we will have to leave grandma here alone. She will likely nap, so that's probably fine.

We also need to go to the grocery.

So...

I love my family, I do, but it's so hard to figure out what 7 people want to do, especially with small kids combined with a fairly immobile grandma... Sigh.

And then my mom came and I just spent 20 minutes trying to get her off my back. I love her, too, but she doesn't need to read this. :rotfl:
