So, from what I've read, the 100k offer is from a Chinese website that leaked it, but you can call any branch and get a 100k offer emailed to you. Also its like 7/28 or something weird like that vs 5/24 for Chase.

I'm at 4/24, 5/28 so should be okay there. But I saw a comment on DOC that suggested the 100K offer would be live online next week. I didn't know where they're getting that, but I would prefer to wait if I can! Not sure what to do

Is this the $95 af one? I thought the 100k sub is for the high af card? I'd definitely go for it if it's the $95 fee card.

Haha. I'm okay with making the call to get a link to apply by 7/31. I would just rather get this card in late Aug or early Sep if I could still get the elevated bonus by then. I'm having FOMO of the 100K, but if a random comment on DOC is to be believed, the offer may be available online next week. But that's such a weak source, lol

Seems like Chase is loosening up on approvals. DW was approved for an Ink Cash last month and I was just approved for an Ink Premier after we were both denied a couple of times. DW only had 2 open business cards and I had 3.

I did get a call right after applying from the fraud center but was approved on the call. Hope this continues.

Lucky! I was just denied for an ink cash. Only at 3/24 and 2 open biz cards.

I app'd for a 'few' cc's this past month variety pack and some approved,some not,anywayyyy I'm like 6/24 ATM..... think I'm smarter to wait till 30 days has passed after other apps before trying for anything Citi? I have no Citi stuff at all yet

Ugh, I think I'm going to go for it and forget about the current SW offer. Can't do both. But I'm not sure what's happening with the CP and we aren't going to WDW next year.

I booked my first SW flight with seat selection. I have the Priority card and was able to select seats in row 8.

I booked 2 flights in February and liked selecting my seats, thought the price in points was comparable to my December flights

Sigh, IKR? We've had a CP for years and have used it very extensively. I hope it doesn't get nerfed too badly but I don't have much hope.

SW Question. I booked DD a flight for December with DH's SW Points. DD has a SW Card and I put her RR # on the reservation. So, will she automatically get a free checked bag then??

If the only issue is 5/24, there may be a small window of time when you can do both. Our last Citi cards reported at 8, 16, and 30 days. If you do Citi on 7/31, you might still be able to do SW before 8/7 if the pattern holds (or even later if you want to play chicken). That still gives a little buffer if you want to do CP in 2026. No guarantees, but more of an if it works it works mentality.

I'm especially leery with the new seating stuff coming, I don't have the cc (can't get for awhile) and I'm pretty sure any SWA flights I take after December will be middle row next to back bathroom..... that's enough to make me look elsewhere

for Citi...if one wanted those points to transfer to AA (main reason) would it be wiser to start with the AA cc they offer? or the other, bigger new cc? (I'd like both lol)

That's how it reads. If she's a cardholder (not auth user, the primary) and her RR number is listed, then she'll have a free bag.

Yes, she should get a bag as a CC holder. How you pay for a reservation shouldn't matter
