Exactly! I was laughing at a friend's DH who grew up in the South and now lives in Buff... he was out shoveling their driveway due to a 6" snowfall. I was like "Sweetie, you don't shovel that, you drive THROUGH it!"

When we got home we once again had to shovel the driveway and then have shoveled it again since then. That is three times today if you are counting.
Yeah, I don't miss the shoveling.... We had our first night of Chanukah. DS6 got to light the menorah tonight.
The kids got there first night's presents. They were generally pretty happy.

The walking has Jon in a lot of pain with his feet. I always forget when I plan these things about his "issues". We ended the night with him in tears, and him barely able to walk to the car. I'm SO glad tomorrow we finally get to see the doc.

well, i just finished my last shift at the hospital. it really hasn't set in yet. kinda surreal! i'm happy about the move, but i will miss my coworkers greatly!! we went yest morn after work for margiritas and burritos. yes at 8am we were drinking margirias. we had a wonderful time!! last night , they brought in food and balloons. then , they surprised me and unloaded 5 cans of silly string on me. i ran to the corner and took cover , but they got me good!!!
i don't think it's set in bc my farewell party is friday 2nd. i think there will be tears at that party!
i'm glad my friends here can move with me whereever i go!!! love you guys!

Last night was a horribly long night with Jon. His feet were hurting him so badly after walking around the botanical gardens. We should have brought his walking cast...of course he can't walk in it. I can't wait for the doc this afternoon.

I'm taking a teeny tiny break from cleaning and then I'm off to bake. Well pseudo-bake - all my cookies are from a bag mix, oh and I bought sugar cookie dough, lots of squeeze frosting, sprinkly thinga mabobs, and some cookie cutters. Should be a fun afternoon.

I just had an e-mail about an article about the Moms Panel on Mickeys Mom Club, it had the group photo and then listed all the panellists except me!!!!!! They're sorting it out

I got Rachel, Jodi, & Z's cards today - thanks, ladies!
I went out and dropped off the shoes - still no idea why, but she seemed happy - and then got a Dunkin' Donut card for the bus driver. I did manage to get to the mall (SCARY!) and back before the party, so my babysitter is set. The party went very well and the boys wouldn't ride home with me, so I had a few minutes before the bus came back.
D is safely in Boston, woohoo!
We need the boys to eat early before their concert - they need to be at school at 6:00.
It's 20 here, but the wind chill is 5. Nothing compared to Jen1, but... She's got what I was more used to growing up - bitter cold, not as much snow.
That's about all I know. I was glad to get the things done today, since with the late start, the morning seemed non-existent.
