Ewwwww. No. We have two weeks off. I'm off next week from the clinic...but the week after that I do have to see my clients.

The Richard Petty Driving Experience Ride Along? They have it on sale until tomorrow I think for 1/2 price!

They also have a driving package if you want something more than a ride along, but that one's not on sale.
Kirt wanted a digital photo frame, but I'm done with him, so we're going to do that for Father's day instead.

Our kids get out at 12...so I guess they just decided not to show up.

Good for us. We've been jamming out to 80s rock here in the office and eating milk and cookies.

My dang dog suddenly has decided to chew up ornaments and presents the past two days! I had to pull the crate back out.

So, we're going to meet friends for lunch in a few, then we'll be home chilling. I want to clean, but I don't know if it will stay that way until Christmas.

Also- I have gotten the ornament, but not my SS gift.

For me it is always gift tags, hooks, and suction cups.

I gave up on the gift tags this year and just wrote on the package.

What on earth do I buy Bob? He has everything! It's driving me nuts.

Kat recommended www.AccidentalWine.com so I got a case of wine for M and a book shelf, www.Restaurant.com has GC's 80% off.

I made Mel's white choc & cranberry cookies as well as her banana choc chip oatmeal. Yummy. Yesterday I forgot to buy Hershey kisses to make peanut butter kisses, but I have Dove so I may be able to substitute. Also I want to make Sweet Nothings; Rice Chex with pb, choc and powdered sugar. And white choc covered Ritz with pb. Now I'm hot from being in the kitchen so I'm taking a break. Who knows if I'll make it back in there?

Cool! My job just announced that they are dsimissing early for Christmas Eve and NYE, and if you want to take whole days off (like I was planning) you only have to use 1/2 days. They have NEVER done that before. Basically I use one vacation day for 2 days off!

They also have a driving package if you want something more than a ride along, but that one's not on sale.

Actually Dawn gave me the idea for Jim when she got it for K last year!

I finally mailed out the Christmas cards!!!

Hopefully none of them get returned. After I had mailed them I was pricing Lessa's card and some other International ones I was mailing and they told me on some that had puffy stickers that they're more because they get stuck in the machine. So hopefully none get returned.

Mel I got your card today! The boys look great!

We've been near 80 every day. Plus the earthquake on Tuesday and we're all out of whack!

Do ya'll have something that you "lose" every year? For me it is always gift tags, hooks, and suction cups. I temporarily lost my hooks, and I couldn't remember that I had DH put the suction cups in the garage labelled so I could find them this year. But, dangit! I can't find my freakin gift tags and I had 3 packs of them. I have looked everywhere and this is really freakin peeing me off! This always happens. I can't find the ones I bought on clearance the year before, so I go buy more, then suddenly the others reappear.

I lost my hooks between opening the first of the decoration boxes and decorating the tree. So I bought more, then D found them on top of the fridge - I think because they were open and I didn't want them to get dumped from the counter. I can't find my tags, either, but I found freebies from Heifer (which we do give to annually) so I was OK.

I just signed the boys up for a day at the gym - swimming, movies, sports, etc. I don't have much to do by then, but I just want them not to be driving me batty all day!

Yeah, it's getting ugly. It just started about an hour ago. D's going to the hotel, but hasn't left yet - he's going to have a great drive...

The boys are off, so we'll see how that goes. They are really close - I'm not too concerned, even if I have to go get them - I just have to go slow.

They are so close I barely even have a curve or a hill to deal with, which is my winter problem. I grew up with snow, but in the midwest, where roads are FLAT and STRAIGHT.

If they make it through the sleepover, it will just make me and the dog in the house tonight. WOOHOO!

Well, I made a HUGE mistake. I was bored and made Evan and Andy go with me to the mall. I did end up buying gift for people I had intended to give gift cards to, so that was good - BUT Vickies is having a HUGE sale and I could not resist. I love her jammies, so I indulged in purchasing 4 sets! At least I'll look cute on Christmas, right?

It was so cold this morning, we actually had frost on our roof and all our neighbors had white lawns. I woke Maddie up a sleepy by telling her it snowed. She jumped out of bed and ran to her window. Heh heh heh. That was too easy!

We have our Caroling event tonight, in freakin' 50 degree weather! Darn it! Nothing else going on - I'll check back tonight to see who's chattin'! Happy Friday!
