Looks good and I see Mel already found your typo!:goodvibes

LOL, I can't wait to get rid of mine. But I understand why you think that.

I am soooo ready for school to start back up ::yes::

. I REEK of chlorine, so I may even wind up with two showers today. :rotfl2:

Hi Mo :wave2:

Another thing as a homeowner I pay my mortgage biweekly, it comes right out of my checking and it takes 7.5 years off a 30 year mortgage.

We just got something in the mail about doinf this from the mortgage company. Thinking of doing it!:thumbsup2

I am now on a food diet and shopping diet, although I am in the Mutherland in 5 weeks and well we all know what happens to me there...

I'm sorry, what? No shopping at DTD?

Oh I forgot to share my ADR's for next month...

Plaza - I'm still thinking about the dinner I couldn't eat because I had to eat Kelly's mac n cheese, I was so cheated

Cape May dinner - I haven't done this in years and I do love seafood

Coral Reef lunch

Brown Derby lunch - still on fence about this one.

We did Cape May for dinner once and enjoyed it!

Heck, I'd like to go the weekend of my birthday for a nice "happy birthday to me" solo trip, but that sure ain't happenin'...:sad2: And man oh man am I freaking out about turning f-f-f-f-forty...see? I can't even say it without stuttering. I don't know why, but it's getting worse by the day. :guilty: At least it's on a Saturday this year so I can just hide under the covers all day. Maybe my birthday won't come if I hide...:rolleyes1

It's not that bad:hug:

Shopping diet. Yeah right. It's US you're talking to Mo, not some complete strangers you met on the internet ya know!!

:lmao:

Well I got Bug in bed were he is letting me know he is not going to sleep with out Fireman Sam. That is his favorite show and we have one DVD of it that he can watch in his room. I can not wait for the second DVD to come out. He is on Sprout two times a day but that DVD is going to push me past the bend :happytv: . I am also getting tired of Sprout. Is there another tv channel?

We were like that with Jimmy and the Wiggles, when he was younger. The same video over, and over, and over and over :faint:

Speaking of budgets...I don't get this one. My cousin does this and I just don't see how. Maybe it's just me though and knowing I'm on a set budget and that's why I don't get it.

I have a friend who does this and gets airline points that they use for vacations, etc!

what's going on around here?

HI Slate.!

=======================================================

Evening all. Jimmy is in bed and Jim is in the basement...I think:confused: Not much going on here!

I have some pretty exciting news. Last summer, Steve & Emilie (my friend who passed) had their BOB stroller taken from their yard. I have been working with a local upscale baby store and BOB strollers to have it replaced.

IT CAME THROUGH!!!

This is such an awesome thing. Their strollers are in the range of $4-600. I don't know which one they are giving the family, but any would have made Emilie so happy.

Sadly, it is bitter sweet... Emilie passed before it came through. I bet she knows though.

Anyways, her and her DH basically live off one credit card. They put all bills on it, groceries, gas, shopping, etc. and then pay it off when the bill comes.

That's MOSTLY how we do it. Instead of using checks or check Cards.. We use the American Express for medial, groceries, Gas, etc... and pay that 1 bill each month on the 15th.

Now you do have to Keep your head about you. It's about the same every month. We know how much we can spend on eating out each week, groceries are usually 140-160 a month, my gas ... I fill up every two weeks.. Scott is every week and sometimes up to 4 times a week.

What WILL GET US... is a MAJOR Medial Bill.. or we flub up and go someplace that does not take AMEX.:headache:

We do NOT use it everywhere we go, We do use cash.. but I usually do not have any... Scott carries it. Our "Hooterville" bank that has our money does not have an ATM or check cards. We have another bank that USED to have money in it, with all the modern conveniences. It only has the Money Market account.. used to hold our money for "taxes" .

I will say it takes discipline.. or you will bury yourself in a heartbeat.

True, but the goats talk in AC. :lmao:
Wow! Really? Maybe I should check this goat game out! :lmao:

The girls got another Sing Star ---it has oldies like Papa Don't Preach.... they are amazed that I know the words...

BTW--I am loving my new car! When I get in, it syncs with my cellphone and has all my contacts so I can voice navigate it! The funny thing though was that the computer couldn't understand me! She said "perhaps we should get to know each other better" :confused3
and then she made me repeat 25 phrases.

And I don't think I talk funny at all. :confused3

That's a good plan!

My tip of the day: :teacher:

I use ING accounts: I have separate ones for taxes, homeowner insurance, tuition savings, etc and I use payroll deduction to deposit straight into them. That way I get higher interest on the savings and it's not as accessible as Bank of America. (you can set up custodial accounts to which have tax free interest):teacher:

Wow Dawn! I love the room--what's the name of the red??

And BA wants to know what the L is for?

And we think the view reminds us of TX! ('cept our subdivision's houses were closer together!)

It's a Ford Explorer Limited with the Nav/Sync thingie. I really like it--and I felt safe today as I put it in 4WD in the snow.:thumbsup2 (plus it's Hokie maroon color! :lmao: )
Hope I still like it when the 1st of 60 payments is due in Feb!

Speaking of cars......I think i am going to refinance my loan: http://www.penfed.org has 4.75% for new and used loans. Pretty good, huh?

OK, I lied. I was going to get off here and have a quiet evening of watching TV and some DVR'd shows. I get about 10 minutes into Disney on a Dime (teo get a few pointers) and my dad comes in from his cigar room and takes over the TV and has some stupid Bowl game on. I will sooooooooo happy when this weekend is over!

Here we only get him on Sprout. We have only had Sprout for about 2 weeks. Before this we only had the DVD of Fireman Sam. I was tired if seeing the same few episodes. We record him on the tv in the livingroom. Ds is not up for the first show and is not watching tv at the time of the second showing.

I getcha, my DD was like that with the Wiggles. I can probably sing all the songs on the 2 DVD's we had. Thank goodness my DS did NOT get into them!

[I will say it takes discipline.. or you will bury yourself in a heartbeat.

See that's where I would get in trouble. Spend more than I can pay so I'll stick with my debit card and cash for now. Maybe one day when I have willpower I can do it.

That's a really good idea and something I might look into. I have a regualr saving account right now and I've always heard an ING account pays better when it comes to interst.

Shall we plan another big focker trip for 2010?

::yes:: I would love to meet y'all in 2010!
