It looks great, however, you have mispelled Paradise.

Ok, all this budget talk has me freaking out. I just bought another car when I have one already!!! I called the insurance co. today and they said they need TWO months to start the policy! (That was almost $200!!!) Don't they know I'm going to Disney in 3 weeks!? Dang it.

The budget thing is always on my mind. I really want to do a better job with ours this year. I think getting the MUCH cheaper car is going to help and the braces are PAID for next month! That was almost 7K! Teenagers are NOT cheap!

So, does anyone happen to know WHERE the Oak Trail Golf Course is at Disney???? It's the 9 hole course.

MEL:banana:

 Yeah and thanks for the wake-up text. :lmao: Andy about flipped out of the bed, it scared him! :rotfl2:

:lmao: Too funny!!

OMG.... I think I'm a Guitar Hero World Tour widow.:sad2:

I want to see a picture of Tim playing it! :lmao:

HI everyone..

T - see you were able to make you ressies:yay: I wish we could change our dates:sad2:

LL - I deid see that about Travolta's son. Such a shame. Here is a link if anyone is interested http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b77...m_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=rss_topstories

LL - No trips at all this year planned:confused3

Hi everyone else! Getting ready to play DIsney Scene It so I will check back later. Jimmy is addicted to this game!:thumbsup2

I'd like to try and get down in August, but I'm not booking anything till I know what's going on with work, etc...KWIM? I've banked the points I've got left and don't want to book and have to cancel 'cuz then the banked points would be pulled into the current year...

Heck, I'd like to go the weekend of my birthday for a nice "happy birthday to me" solo trip, but that sure ain't happenin'...:sad2: And man oh man am I freaking out about turning f-f-f-f-forty...see? I can't even say it without stuttering. I don't know why, but it's getting worse by the day. :guilty: At least it's on a Saturday this year so I can just hide under the covers all day. Maybe my birthday won't come if I hide...:rolleyes1

This one may be a little better.

Cute!

Kat_ We do the exact same thing Jodi does. I start each month with a set amount for the household budget and take away as the month goes along. When I'm out of money, I'm out of money. There is no taking it from savings or other "piles." PM me if you need help, or just want to talk...it's stressful, but looking at what you spend each month is the only place to start. Good luck! :goodvibes

Savings? What's that word? :confused3 Never heard of it. Ebonics? Slang? What??

I am now on a food diet and shopping diet, although I am in the Mutherland in 5 weeks and well we all know what happens to me there...

Shopping diet. Yeah right. It's US you're talking to Mo, not some complete strangers you met on the internet ya know!!

Thanks, I had not proofed it and I sometimes get so caught up in the colors and placement I forget to check my spelling and typing. Luck for me it can be changed, as I have it still as layers.

Whew! Glad I helped then!

It's really neat. I've never done shirts for our trips. That's such a great idea!

OMG - I never even noticed the spelling! Good call Mel!! And OMG - what's up with the insurance??? Why can't they just add it to your policy? I've never had to pay a couple of months up front to just add a vehicle. That's a bummer...

Did they explain why they want 2 months up front?

I thought that was weird too. We have 3 other policies with them. Bob's 76 Mustang Mach I, the Pilot and our house. I don't know why!? I asked and she said, "It's only one month if we direct debit your account every month."

I think if I pay my bills every month ON TIME, what do they care HOW I do it???

This might sound crazy, but have you considered not insuring it yet? If you plan to drive the Pilot until February and the new car is going to be in the garage, maybe you can hold off?

Can't. It's leased and you have to carry FULL coverage on the leased ones!

It's so annoying!

Well, my time on TFW is up! Gotta go watch The Hulk with the boys! You guys have a great night!

See you in the morning! :goodvibes

MEL

Jimmy loves Little Biil and all the other shows on that channel. Right now it's Pinky Dinky Doo then Little Bear. He likes them all!

My DS loves Pinky and I love Little Bear. I always make sure to sit down and watch him with them. LOL

Yeah, he was NOT thrilled to be in Childcare with 68 (YES! 68!) little kids!

Here's the recipe for those of you who wanted it:

Thai Chicken Pizza
From the Rachel Ray Express Lane Meals Cookbook
ENJOY!

Holy crow...68 kids!

And thanks for the recipe! It look yummy.

Hi Jo. THere's a show called Make Way for Noddy that Jimmy likes. IT's a Brit show. DId your girls watch that or is that a newer show?

We like Noddy here too. DD loves that one.

I just booked a for a 3 night stay at South Padre Island in August.

WooHoo! Adults only or with the kids?

So do any of you write out a household budget?

I have one in an Excel worksheet. I do it b-weekly since that is when I get child support and then have the set amount for the bills I need pay each month (preschool, utilities, insurance, etc) and an amount how much I want to spend in groceries, clothes, vacation budget,
etc. I started last year and it really seemed to help so I hope to continue it into this year.

Got a 2 bedroom at SSR for 6 nights! And I've still got lots of points left for either an improptu trip in the fall/early winter-ish or a studio for TE & Waldo should they decide to join us in August. :teeth:

Now I have to work on the ADR's. I'm not happy with my current list - I need to add some pizzaz! Is that how you spell that?? :confused3

:yay: :yay: Awesome news on the 2 bedroom! Who all is going with you this trip?

Did you guys see that John Travolta's son died today? How sad...:sad2:

:sad1: Oh how sad.

So, DH and I are going out with my best friend and her DH to a fancy schmancy restaurant for dinner tonight to celebrate our anniversary. I just got done with my shower, since I didn't want to channel CE and go without!! :rotfl2: Probably won't be back until late and most likely won't be checking in here later tonight... :rolleyes1 so I guess I'll talk to you all tomorrow!

Have fun tonight! :goodvibes

The dates for our trip is Feb 13 - 21. Is anyone else going to be there at this time? I will also be back when and if dd gets in the Career Starts program. Here is what I will use for the family shirts. Thanks Jo. It is much clearer in the program I used to make it. I am not sure what happens when I put it in photobucket :confused3

I will try later to get a bigger better copy of it on here.

:thumbsup2 Looks great!

This sounds like a really great idea and I might try it out! Thanks!

Oh, no! Our kids have had a rule for at least a year now - weekends, they get up, can turn on the TV (and oh, yes, they know how) or be on the computer, as long as they are QUICK and QUIET and let us sleep. Then they get a nice breakfast when we wake up (usually around 9:00.) I'm not concerned about them finding something inappropriate because they don't know that they could, if you KWIM. They go to Nick or Disney, on TV or on the computer, and we're all good.

The more I think about it I would trust Lindsey getting up by herself and turning the TV on or going on the computer but there is no way I would trust DR. I can't even be in the laundry room without him turning the house upside down.

Well I got Bug in bed were he is letting me know he is not going to sleep with out Fireman Sam. That is his favorite show and we have one DVD of it that he can watch in his room. I can not wait for the second DVD to come out. He is on Sprout two times a day but that DVD is going to push me past the bend :happytv: . I am also getting tired of Sprout. Is there another tv channel?

Speaking of budgets...I don't get this one. My cousin does this and I just don't see how. Maybe it's just me though and knowing I'm on a set budget and that's why I don't get it.

Anyways, her and her DH basically live off one credit card. They put all bills on it, groceries, gas, shopping, etc. and then pay it off when the bill comes.

Like I said I guess I just don't get it since I'm on a set budget. :confused3

I'm off for the night. I'm about to put the kids in bed and I am exhusted!!! But it's a good exhusted, kwim? Having the kids back really makes me aprreciate them so much more! The good news is I won't have to share them for another 6 months. The next time he gets them is in June for the summer but will get them for 6 weeks! :scared1: :sad1: :scared: :woohoo:

My DS likes Fireman Sam too. We usally get to check him out in the mornings but miss him the other time. Isn't he on PBS in the mornings as well?

Our TV is usually on Disney, Noggin, Sprout and PBS.

Here we only get him on Sprout. We have only had Sprout for about 2 weeks. Before this we only had the DVD of Fireman Sam. I was tired if seeing the same few episodes. We record him on the tv in the livingroom. Ds is not up for the first show and is not watching tv at the time of the second showing.

OMG.... I think I'm a Guitar Hero World Tour widow.:sad2:
:lmao:
Well, there's goats! :lmao:
True, but the goats talk in AC. :lmao:
Hey! I ALWAYS shower before a fancy dinner... :rotfl:
Well that's good to know. :lmao:

I REEK of chlorine, so I may even wind up with two showers today. :rotfl2:
I think you set a record. ;)
