I keep thinking I should get off the computer, because I have company, but Dad is watching the football and Mom is reading - Grandma's in bed - so why not? Still...

And I still don't know if they're leaving tomorrow. I'd like to have them stay for the thing on Saturday, but I also just kind of want to know what I should be planning for the next day or two...

I have an eyebrow wax in the morning and my friend is coming by for happy hour after she drops her mom at the airport. Both things are fine with or without the parents, but the logistics change, you know?

I've been playing Webkinz games.

Hello there.

Just wanted to reiterate to the masses that you should NOT be offended if I don't accept EVERY friend request. I don't know ALL the people who post on TFW really well, and I try to be careful. (My family pictures are quite openly displayed on FB, so that our loved ones can see them...)

Just don't want anyone to be offended. If we haven't met IRL, I might want to get to know you "here" better.....

Bob's reading to Gus right now, and SD has a friend over. Has anyone noticed that the TV choices the last week or so have been AWFUL!? Ugh. I think we have 200 channels of carp!!!

Tomorrow I am going to the gym with the boys. I plan on walking the track and maybe doing an eliptical (did I spell that right???) but that's about all. Darn Dr. Seigle says NO lifting NO bending NO stretching....blah blah blah. He also said no swimming but I'm going to WDW in 23 days or so, and I plan on swimming!!!!

As far as resolutions go, I don't really have any set ones. Since I am constantly dealing with chronic issues, it seems, I just try to make a goal to STAY positive. That's good right? Not beating myself up TOO much over things I don't deal with well, but trying to pat myself on the back for the ones I do handle. That's enough for now.

A bikini, V? Good God woman!! I really hope you do it. I will live vicariously through you!

I've been playing Webkinz games.

You may have been playing against my kids! DS6 and his buddy and DD11 and her friend were kicking around on Webkinz at various times over the last three hours. DS6's account has a 7PM shut off and DD11's has a 9PM, but Jenny had me lift both 'til 10 in honor of the sleepovers and no school tomorrow. Now I just need to remember to go back and set them back sometime before next Thursday...

In any case, I'm about to turn into a pumpkin. I've got an appointment with the gym at 7am tomorrow, and I've got enough temptations to sleep late to add a late night into the mix. Cheers and good night everyone!

I love it! I'm going to keep driving the Pilot till I turn it in. (Feb.) I can't see getting this one all dirty, salty and putting miles on for no reason. I LOVE the Forester! It's so cute. It's like the baby version of my Pilot.

I am listening to music with headphones on and trying to ignore KC talking on his darn xbox headset/microphone thingie. MEH. We had a small talk about hims tepping up more and helping out and taking initiative with the house and with me...we'll see if it went in one ear and out the other or not. MEH MEH. I am off to get a yogurt from the fridge.

So, I've been upstairs organizing old papers and that kind of stuff this evening. Got through a lot of old Christmas cards and birthday cards for the kids. And I did some scrapbooking organization this afternoon as well, while waiting for DH to give me info on MIL.

Speaking of which, there's really no new news. She's settled into a room in the Neuro area of the hospital. When DH and FIL left her, she was ordering dinner. She had various CT scans today, but the doctor hadn't stopped by to discuss his findings yet. So, we might know a little bit more tomorrow. For now, they're managing her pain, which is a good thing.

Yeah, the Pilot is such a gas hog! I mean, 15 mpg! Really!!! I didn't know the change under the seat. Is it bad luck if you do it yourself? I'll make SD do it for me!

I'm the first one up. Again. Seriously, I think I've become incapable of sleeping past 6 am. It's very annoying.

I am looking forward to our first day at the gym today, but NOT to getting my photo id picture taken. I always look like a criminal in those!!

Tonight we are having a Thai chicken pizza for dinner. The recipe is in a Rachel Ray cookbook. It's so yummy. Gus grows the bean sprouts in a little garden kit he got about a year ago, and they come out so perfect! Have you ever noticed that it's almost impossible to buy FRESH ones?? They must rot in like a day! Well, Gus has figured it out! It takes about 5 days to sprout your own bean sprouts! So, I make this pizza to use them on top. Let me know if anyone wants the recipe. It's so good!

Well, I am going to put a load of laundry in and HOPEFULLY not wake the big kids!

Oh definitely! Jenny just kind of rolls her eyes. Last night, a friend's daughter saw I was on and decided to chat while her parents were talking to Jenny on the phone. And then I handed the keyboard to DD9 so she could chat with the daughter. I was on FB on the computer in the family room that is connected to our TV, so Jenny and DD9 could follow along.

In any case, I'm off to check in over there before breakfast and the office.
