Have a great day, David. Oh, and in case I forget later, congrats on sticking with the gym. It's hard to get motivated! You're inspiring me!
You too! And, thanks! I made a commitment to the gym in August. Mon., Wed. & Fri. unless I'm sick, or one of the kids is. But, one of the many nice things about this group is that we can inspire each other with positives in our lives.

The diet portion of the fitness plan is only three week in, so I'm working hard on staying on track with it. I've been banking my extra points for the week for dinner tomorrow night. We're going to a party, and it's my b-day.

Mary land is right near Dave town.
Well, sort of. Larry ville is in between them.....

LY JO! :thumbsup2
Thanks so much for clearing that up Mel :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Sheesh...I would think being on the Mom's Panel you could get that stuff...just don't forget that we all helped you get there Sista!!
You'd think wouldn't you

She sent this on 12/24. A teacher, working on Christmas Eve; what dedication! She is so sweet. :cutie:
That's great :thumbsup2

I did it real quick, like ripping off a band-aid...

I joined Facebook!:cool1: Now I gotta figure out what the heck to do with it!!

I did it too, I am now on Facebook.

Fine, I joined! But I only have one friend. :sad2: A fellow band geek that I have known since 8th grade; he married my best friend.
I saw :rotfl2:

Okay How doI join !! ??????????
Rosie just go to facebook.com and open an account, once you do PM me with your e-mail address and I'll find you and tell all the fockers :thumbsup2

Hi All!!! I missed you so much!!! I'm not lying.
Welcome home :goodvibes

And whilst your at it...

What is the box for?

The green things you all keep sending me?

Flairs?

Disney Magic?
:rotfl2: OK Jen you can send presents to each other, a box is where all the presents get kept but you have to add them to your profile when they're sent to you, don't worry it gives you the option so just click yes.
Green patch is a little game where you have a garden and you can water it etc, you can also look after other peoples and send them plants for their garden, the more you do the more "money" you earn to buy thongs!
Flair is like buttons people send you, they then get put onto a board which you can put in your profile.

Does any of that make sense? :rotfl2:

I never posted this, but I thought I'd share now. Here is Jimmy's Kindergarten school picture. Can you stand the so called smile. THis is what he does when he is forced to smile:sad2:
Bless :rotfl2:

Gus grows the bean sprouts in a little garden kit he got about a year ago, and they come out so perfect! Have you ever noticed that it's almost impossible to buy FRESH ones??
They sell loads over here :confused3

Not much going on today, I've been to the supermarket, which BTW was manic! I've answered another q, I've done 11 now so 4 more to go :rotfl2:

Oh, and CE, I have a girlie friend who comes over for Happy Hour too! That's funny. What are you guys gonna drink?

She's mostly a beer girl, but I also have some wine. She's the pilot who's back to work, but before she went back to work, we tended to do Happy Hour Playdates about every other week. ;)

have a great night all!

Hope you had a great one!

For now, they're managing her pain, which is a good thing.

That's good, at least. I hope you get some good definite news.

i'm here , but be back later. note to self on page 145. (thanks ce, for this idea of bookmarking where i am!!)

No problem - it works! :)

Tonight we are having a Thai chicken pizza for dinner. The recipe is in a Rachel Ray cookbook. It's so yummy. Gus grows the bean sprouts in a little garden kit he got about a year ago, and they come out so perfect! Have you ever noticed that it's almost impossible to buy FRESH ones?? They must rot in like a day! Well, Gus has figured it out! It takes about 5 days to sprout your own bean sprouts! So, I make this pizza to use them on top. Let me know if anyone wants the recipe. It's so good!

Yes, please!

We're going to a party, and it's my b-day.

I saw that it was coming up. Good for you for banking! :thumbsup2

*****************************************
Still no decision. I need to shower before the waxing.

Mom needs the computer, so I might see you later.

I meant to quote David too! Oops! I did WW (my own version, sort of) back in May. I am going to try again soon. I didn't find it deprived me too much, and I loved saving the points for something good! Your bday is a great thing to save for!

Ok, now CE. I will post the pizza recipe when I get home from the gym. SHould be about noon.
Have a great day!!!

MEL

OOPS and HI JO!!!
Good girl getting your questions answered! You rock!
:wave2:

MEL

Morning, Everyone!

Guess what??? I just got up! That's right... my girls let me sleep until after 9am! How cool is that?

Now it's time for coffee.....

Thanks, Mel!

Well, I SHOWERED :rotfl: and I need to leave in about 10 minutes or so. We did a lot of "interstate driving" looking online. There are 3 possible routes - basically 90, 80, or 70 - and 90 doesn't look great today, but ALL of them look "icy" for Sunday. If they leave today, they should be home by tomorrow night, so they are leaving, probably by noon, and not driving 90, which they did to get here.

So, I should get off the computer, get to my thing, and I probably won't check back in until they're gone. My friend is coming around 2:00 and so I may be MIA a lot today... See you all later, and have a fantastic Friday! :goodvibes

Morning Fockers!

I'm one happy camper - started my day with a phone call to DVC... and got AKV Kidani Village for Aug. on the first try! :cool1: Me and Leo are sharing a 1 bedroom so I can cook most meals in-room and have plenty of space to get away from one another as needed, lol!

Oh sure, I come back and everyone leaves. I'm getting a complex

sad.jpg

Happens to me all the time:sad2:

I've been playing Webkinz games. :rotfl2:

They are fun.. Haven't done that in a while

Get your booty over there quick...oh and buy a Wii and Wii Fit.;)

We are totally out here... No Wii Fit ANYWHERE... :guilty: Maybe I'll look in February
Hello there.

Just wanted to reiterate to the masses that you should NOT be offended if I don't accept EVERY friend request. I don't know ALL the people who post on TFW really well, and I try to be careful. (My family pictures are quite openly displayed on FB, so that our loved ones can see them...)

Just don't want anyone to be offended. If we haven't met IRL, I might want to get to know you "here" better.....

Aww Mel  any of us that have been around you long enough knows how you feel about that and it's fine. I have ignored and turned down some myself.. I think we all have.

I did suggest a couple of friends to you.. not so much as to say... YOU NEED THEM... but making it easier for you to find them IF you wished to include them.

Heck... I did not even bother most of you... I waited to see IF you wanted to include me...:flower3:

LY Mel:hug:

Morning V... I assume no "Gramma" :confused3

Sarabeth definitely has some kind of a bug... GREAT:headache: We needed to get back to studying for the School Spelling Bee. She was chosen along with a few other 5th graders to try and be the school Champion. I do not expect her to win it. Hopeful Yes... Just do not want her to go down in the first round.

Those words are something else...:scared1:

Call me a slacker, but I finally got around to taking pics of my Secret Santa and ornament exchange gifts.

First, here's my ornament (thanks to CE):

And here's my Secret Santa gift. First of all what a neat box:

Are we revealing Secret Santas now? Because I'm sure you guys have already guessed that my NYC Secret Santa was Kat! Thanks Kat! My girls absolutely love the compact mirror! And we all love Minnie!

And by the way, do all of you notice the amount of LIME GREEN that came into my house this December????

V, What are your dates for August?

Jodi, I can't see your pics. :sad1:

I hate going grocery shopping. It always takes me forever.

You've done a lot!

MEL
Good for you for going to the gym! My mom did really well on WW.
Guess what??? I just got up! That's right... my girls let me sleep until after 9am! How cool is that?
That's the best thing about school being out. My kids have been letting me sleep. I've been waking up about 8:30.

Tell Sarabeth we hope she feels better soon!
Congrats on being chosen for the Spelling Bee.

Here is my vent.......

I've had my car since Sept and the radio went out right before Xmas. I drove to SC and back with no radio. It was torture. Anyway, I took the car in to the dealership and they had it the entire day. I called them at 4:30 to get a status and they told me that they were still doing diagnostics (I'm thinking they hadn't even looked at it yet) and don't know what's wrong with it. They called me back and said they are going to order a new radio.

Here I am back at the dealership. I was told it would take an hour when I made the appt. When I got here, they said just over an hour. After sitting 1 hour and 10 minutes, they came to talk to me and told me they can not find the radio they ordered. After searching they found it. It was with Parts!!! Guess where parts is? It's connected to the bay where they fix the cars. As in, I parked my car in the bay and it is the first door on the right - next to the waiting area. These people are brilliant. :headache:

Mary, how annoying. I'm sorry!

Well, my parents and grandma have left. The boys had a horrible sad meltdown. My friend is now no longer coming over, as one of her girls has a fever. So now I'm home with no plans and two bored and sad six year olds. :scared1: :rotfl:

D floated the idea of afternoon skiing, but the boys don't want to go. It's still only about 16 out right now. Woody wants to sled, Buzz wants to swim. I want to stay here and reclaim my house, but might have to go along with whatever they do.

Gah.

But, we can probably start getting back to a little normal, for a whole week before we leave for the birthday party.

So, I should get off the computer, get to my thing, and I probably won't check back in until they're gone. My friend is coming around 2:00 and so I may be MIA a lot today... See you all later, and have a fantastic Friday! :goodvibes
I still see your light on  Hope everyone gets home safe and you have fun with your friend :goodvibes

For real-Great Job! :thumbsup2

Sarabeth definitely has some kind of a bug... GREAT:headache:
Oh No! Poor thing!

*******************************

Just woke up. Today is the day I'm going to try to stand for a while in the laundry room and do some laundry. I am hoping I don't get too winded. I also plan on NOT sleeping today, in hopes that I can actually sleep tonight at a normal hour of rest.

My house looks like someone dumped it upside down. I guess I deserve that for being in bed for 7 days. It may take me a month to clean. oh well.

Good Morning Fockers!! :goodvibes

Well Member Services has been busy for the last 30 minutes. Guess I should have gotten up at 6 am..... :rolleyes1

Got nothing planned today, except a little Wii ... heh heh heh. That darn Animal Crossing is addicting! :hyper:

Have a great Friday! :flower3:

Hey CE - are you expecting another storm up there mid-week? My aunt lives in Albany and she was supposed to pick up my mother on Wednesday at the airport but she called this morning saying something about bad weather. She's got to drive my mom about an hour and 15 home from the airport so she was worried about the weather...

So...I did the only thing any self-respecting rotten child would do...

I booked her a flight outta here at 7:15 tomorrow morning!!!:woohoo:

Woo Hooo!! Good for you V!!! Way to go!! You'll love staying in a 1BR. And I'm excited to see your room pics!! I can't wait to stay there!

Way to go Sarabeth! Good Luck!!! I was my school's spelling bee champ in 5th grade. It was down to me and this kid named Chris Brown - the smartest kid in school. The word was linoleum...Chris spelled it wrong and I guessed at it and got it right!! Either way I was the winner!!:yay:

OMG - I'd have been furious. I hate dealing with car dealerships. Sometimes you have to wonder how those guys stay open running their place like that!

D floated the idea of afternoon skiing, but the boys don't want to go. It's still only about 16 out right now. Woody wants to sled, Buzz wants to swim. I want to stay here and reclaim my house, but might have to go along with whatever they do.

Where do you go? Sunapee? Skiing in 16 degree weather? Better you than me...it's in the upper 30's here I think and I'm freezing. Boy oh boy I don't miss those NH winters! I often wonder how I survived them all those years!

Thank YOU Jo! I understand... but now I know that I haven't been doing any of it right. So are all of those "gifts" lost now?

Awwww...I remember when we had to teach Jo to multiquote and now she's on the Mom's Panel and teaching us how to use Facebook...:cloud9: Our little girl is all grown up!!

Hey Jo - speaking of mom's panel...I just gave someone your name and the website addy to check out...they're going in February...just booked a KILLER deal at Beach Club...I'm so jealous.

Anyway - I'm at work so I've got to get going, but I'll chat at ya's later!!

Wed & Thursday show scattered showers on the 10 day, but I don't know if we're getting anything too bad. :confused3 The ice stuff that my parents were concerned about was the Ohio/Indiana/IL area on Sunday.

It's really too cold today - I am not upset that they didn't want to go. We went to Sunapee once last year - I love the beach in the summer and the ski area seems nice. We have two tiny (and fairly cheap) ski hills that are within an hour - Crotched (I know, I know...) Mtn. and Pat's Peak, and then last year we did Gunstock as well.

I learned to ski by visiting my aunt in Park City, Utah - all the local mountains seem tiny to me in comparison :rotfl: , but then I haven't done the "big" resorts here.

Anyway, we decided to try the gym for either basketball or swimming or tennis, so my shower is going to waste. :rotfl: Oh well.

I don't want to go, but D seems to want family time. I need to do laundry and clean, but...
