I must be on England time.. I woke up at 2:00 am and could NOT go back to sleep. I would have done some more housework but I would have woken people up.

I know about stupid sleep! I was up until 5am because its too darn hot in my house and its nearly impossible to fall asleep. I swear its why I get so much reading done! I sometimes take tylenol pm but it gives me nightmares.

We have plenty to do this weekend. Saturday we're supposed to go to my MIL's for games and dinner. Then Sunday I'm taking Camryn to her first musical.
I'm excited.

I caught myself thinking about HDDR - is there even a remote chance of getting that at this late date? Dare I give the Poly dinner show a whirl? Fireworks cruise? Mini golf? HELP!

The poly dinner show was really fun. I think leo would like the show itself. the food left something to be desired tho. It was really boring food. Edible but blah. Mini golf was cool too, thats def a good idea!

I got a letter from Maddie's school yesterday to notify parents that in the past 2 days, 2 child abduction attempts have been made on little girls walking home from school. Skerrrry! Maddie doesn't walk home from school, but plenty of other kids do. I feel like taking every kid home now.

Long day! We slept late since we were up too late and then went for lunch/dinner at the diner. There were so many leftovers it's dinner too! Hooray for not cooking!

We went grocery shopping too. Thats about it but the sleep or lack there of messes me up. it feels like its afternoon to me but it's not. Weird.

Anyways off to reinstall my Sims 2 and watch Lost and hell's Kitchen.

Warning this started as an update but quickly turned into a vent and a whiny one at that.​

Ok ladies I think I need Jen. I took Nana to the doctor. It was packed in there. We had a 10:30 appointment and at 10:45 I went up and asked how long it would be and explained I needed to be to work by noon and would reschedule if it would be long. They said it was moving quick and I should be called soon. At 11:20 I go back up and tell them that I had to reschedule and would have done so 35 minutes earlier if they had been truthful with me. Just as I turn to leave Nana is called in. I ask how long will I have to wait if we go in as I need to be to work soon. They tell me if I am willing to see any doctor available ( the office has 3 on duty each day) I could be seen right away. It turns out they had me down to see a specific doctor and our file was being passed over since that doctor was very busy. I told them we did not request a certain doctor and did not need the long wait. We get in and they will not send her to anyone else until they see the results of the MRI. They then order the MRI and we now wait again. I figure either way the specialist will want it and this way it will be done. I was so frazzled I did not get a gym excuse for her and am not quite sure why we are not going to the specialist and having them do the MRI. This way we will get the MRI faster though. It usually takes at least 3 weeks to get the first appointment with the specialist. I just would have preferred they made the appointment now not after the MRI. We could cancel if needed. So Nana is not on her own two feet for WDW. Where do I rent the little carts?

She is making a sign for it that says if you think it is so great being first on the bus I will trade places with you. Last trip she and her dbff were not as polite as I would have liked with the wheel chair but man people are just not bright when they get near someone trying to push a wheel chair. They are hard to push and steer. People will not move aside for you and just walk out in front of them. We also had a lady saying not so nice things because we were going to get on the bus before her. She made Nana cry. The lady was speaking Spanish to her family and Nana does understand some Spanish. They get her loaded and I sit down on the bus next to her and she was crying. I asked why and she said that for the 10 minutes we were waiting for the bus that lady kept saying mean and rude things about us getting special treatment. I told her next time turn to the person and say -- Oh yes I am so lucky to get to spend time sitting in this instead of enjoying my senior year walking around and playing tennis. It has also been great gaining all this weight since I am no longer able to exercise. And I am sure my prom will be a blast in a wheel chair or on crutches.

It is a hassle moving in and out of many rides because she can not bed her leg much or put all her wait on it. She also has to write a ton of papers for gym class or she will fail it and not be able to graduate this year.

Thanks but sadly the biggest part of this is all the waiting and these things take time. All the other aches from the fall have went away except the knee and they are now taking the next step. I am just upset that she is in pain and was active before this. She had put on weight the last time and it just snow balled to were she is about 40lbs heavier. She is also concerened this won't be fixed by the end of March and will miss tennis her senior year.

I am glad it is going better for Jon.

honey. Sending good thoughts that everything gets better quickly...and we heal quickly.

Ya' know...some times you can bump up doctor's appointments if you call and speak directly to the doc's nurse. Or if you offer to come in at an off-time. Worth a try...to git her into the doc sooner.

Ya I edited because it just still seemed so whiny.

It is just off the exit and it is all farms in that area. It is about 3 miles out of town and the building use to be a restaurant when I was a kid.

They're allowed to have the cell phone at school as long as they are off. But, his teach was aware of what was going on and allowed him to call.

I asked a few days ago and either the post was missed or I missed the answer. Is there going to be a Fockerfest this year or not until 2010. I do not want to miss the big event again. I did get to a couple of meets last time but I missed the big dinner and then saw a video and it looked like so much fun.
Also is no one here going to be there Feb 13-21?



I will try and post a pic later but Bug got a new bed today. It is a loft bed with a cool fort under it and a slide to get down. It has a ladder on one end and a table on the other. The guys who delivered it put it all together except the slide. Nana even with a sore knee made sure her Bug had a slide. She sat down in his room and put it together for him.

errg! Sounds like we are all having quite a week. I've been sitting on this, but I found out Tues that BIL has gotten another girl pregnant as well. I have lots of emotions ranging from not giving a fat rat's a$$ to OMG, the world is coming to an end. I had come to the realization, that this was his problem, but then thought, how do I explain this to my children? They are old enough to ask questions, but not old enough to understand or handle the answer.

I blame my MIL of course. She has always let those boys off the hook no matter what they did. There was never any consequences, no brow beatings or severe tongue lashings. Only, "it's ok, it wasn't you're fault." And here is where I lose it! Her lack of making them ever take any responsibility for any of their f-bomb actions is now going to affect the lives of four people, not counting my BIL, us, the rest of our family, the girls' families.

There is actually a 3rd girl in his life who broke his heart which led to this reckless lifestyle he is now leading as he tried to fill the void.

I need give some history, but I have to sort out my thoughts. I will tell you that preg girl #2, AKA scank ho, lied to BIL and said that she had ovarian cancer and couldn't get preggers. I'm like, you fell for that? Are you that stupid? Really?

I'm trying hard not to be that raging biotch SIL that have been to him in the past. When he was screwing up in HS, I asked him if he had picked the bridge he would be living under if he didn't get his sh## straight.
