No school this semester or just off on a break?

No school for a year, at least. I've got to divert what I would have spent on tuition to paying down my home equity line in order to have ANY equity in my home.

I am so mad! The school called a little bit ago and both kids are off again for tomorrow! This now makes 4 days in a row!

next month.....I went earlier this month we are going the end of
May...I am also going for my Bday in September....and going at

Well, for starters, it works now. Seriously, buttons were hidden, nothing ever showed up, I would send people stuff and get blank screens. It was lametastic...leaving me very confused. But now that it's working, I understand why you ladies are there all the time.

Between vinyl and discs, we've got a LOT of music. When DH and I started dating (again), he had over 500 cds. Oh, and all my Grateful Dead is on vinyl...but we have Dedicated on cd.

Man oh man, do I miss vinyl - the sound quality was soooo much superior to CDs! Did I ever share with you the link I found to free Dead bootlegs on the Internet? This is my compiled list: ScarlettV. And this is the main search: Grateful Dead. You can search by show dates/names from there!
I found most of what I've been carrying around on cassettes there. Just have a few more shows to find and then I can kiss the carpy cassettes goodbye!

I had to deal with girl drama last night at dance. What a pain. One of the moms of a girl B doesn't like (because she's rude and talks behind other girls' backs) asked me about taking her with us to Dallas in March. Seriously? I would have to drive her there, let her room with us, keep an eye on her the whole time, keep track of her costumes, get her ready for competition, etc... I don't even know the mom's name. Shealso said she's fine with pulling her daughter out of school Friday to go early and she apparently trusts me.

WHAT?!! I dont even want B around this girl.
She also asked if I would watch her dd in February b/c she doesn't want to stay at the convention. I think she plans on shopping and goofing of with her hubby instead. WTHeck? So, you want me to be your kid's mom, essentially, for both weekends. Not gonna happen.

I get that people have other kids or money's tight. I had kids 18 months apart. There were times I would cry because I was so tired and I couldn't wait for Kirt to come home and help me. I never pushed my kids onto someone else. If I couldn't make it work, we didn't do it. Now that the kids are older, I can relax a bit more. But I'm still their mom and responisble for them.

All these "cat" stories.. makes me miss my animals... but those Farm Cats... take the Prize. 2 in particular.

"Sugar" was a Chocolate Point Siamese... she had been declawed so we never expected her to catch a mouse.. but one day she found one.. after she had had her fun with it.. and killed it... she took it to the kitchen... to show Mom her prize... pawing at it waiting for her praise, or so we thought.

Mom was doing the dishes so she was not moving fast enough for "Sugars" liking I guess... and we quickly found out WHAT She wanted. She picked the mouse up in her mouth and jumped up on the stove.. and put the mouse in Mom's big Iron skillet.

"Well, don't just stand there.. fry it up woman... I can't eat this thing raw"

Another Cat... "Mew".. would catch Garter Snakes.. play with the thing till it was so tired it would not try to escape any more... then she would leave it just outside the front door... so that when you opened the door... you would step on them.
Except one time.. she darted in the house with one...

I'M GOING TO WDW!!!! Just booked March 16-24, staying at the AKL! I know we just got back in Dec, but this is our 10th Anniversary Trip (with kids). I booked the kids into the simba care (sp?) at the AKL and we are doing a special Jiko dinner. (good reviews from you all, I hope?) I am proud to report that I found 60 each way airfare, with one small connection in Atlanta.

I am so excited!


I do have to go back and catch up here! I have been scrambling in all my free time (what free time?) to get this booked and situated! I will be back after I catch up!

It's busy at work tonight. I have to make this a short one.

I must be on England time.. I woke up at 2:00 am and could NOT go back to sleep. I would have done some more housework but I would have woken people up.

IT IS GOING TO BE A LONG LONG DAY.. I have been having trouble sleeping again... but this is the ABSOLUTE WORST EVER. I really was looking forward to getting all those projects I've been putting off done today and tomorrow since I will be minus Scott and Sarabeth.
(They are going back to See my FIL and get the taxes finished. FIL is a former IRS Agent and he makes sure that we have all our ducks in a row and know for sure how much more we still owe. )

Anyway with them out of the house I was not going to have to stop to cook. I can skip it or grab a quick sandwich or soup. Joshua is happy with Hot dogs and maybe I'll order a pizza for supper. Now I'm going to be exhausted by 10:00

Good morning, peeps! TGIF, right?
It's a normal Friday for us- PE, lunch with friends, volleyball, pizza for dinner. I have a bunch of books to deliver to other people while I'm at those things today. I'm hoping to make enough for us to buy our Schlitterbahn passes tomorrow. They are discounted through the end of the month.

We have plenty to do this weekend. Saturday we're supposed to go to my MIL's for games and dinner. Then Sunday I'm taking Camryn to her first musical.
I'm excited.

This is our first year of real school but I don't think it has been this bad before to miss 4 days in a row. Last week, maybe 2 weeks ago we had 2 days off for snow. I think in January alone we've had 8 total and then 1-2 in December. Yeah, I have a feeling we'll be going until middle of June.

The last time I've had off for days upon days was in high school when we would get blizzards. The last big snow storm we've had, like blizzard like conditions, has been since Lindsey was like 6 weeks old, so 2003.

And bird's feet?!?!?! I don't do birds so that would just be grossssssss.

Let's see...the kids are off and we have about another inch or 2 added to the snow and ice we already have out there. But I do see the sun is trying to peak out at us. Hopefully it'll stay that way and the kids and I can get out of the house for a few hours later today.

I do have ebay stuff to work on. My auctions ended last night and I am soooooo happy with how they ended.

Plus, I need to straighten up the house a bit, get some laundry done and the dishes loaded in the dishwasher. The house is actually in pretty good shape for when we have people over on Sunday.

I hear the kids in the kitchen getting into stuff so that is my clue to get off here. Hope everyone has a good Friday!

I loved the cat stories Katt! I put bird food in piles on the deck railings. so I look out my kitchen window yesterday to see Cosmo with a little grey bird hanging out of his mouth. I ran outside and the poor thing was still chirping...he ran under the deck with it...it was my fault because the cats didnt have any food left and if I dont feed them every 5 minutes they get upset....

I am so glad this week is finally almost over!! uff da!! First it was Elizabeth in the Mental Health hospital. then finding out about my Mom. then I got a letter from our Credit Union stating that my Debit MC has been compromised somehow and they are cancelling it and issuing me a new one. nobody got to anything,,I going to the bank soon to deposit Steve check and I`ll find out then...
and NOW! There is a man missing from our town. hes around 60. I dont know him. I saw it on the news yesterday morning. I get to work last night and the Asst mngr tells me that he was one of my customers on Tuesday night. and his nephew will be calling to talk to me. great!!!! so he calls. I dont remember him at alllll....the nephew tells me I was one of the last poeple to see him before he went missing. he just wanted to know what he bought so he could trace his footsteps. no clue....I looked closer at his picture on line last night...still no clue. I feel bad,,because he wanted me to call him back either way. and I never did. My manager told me to be careful because of the legal stuff...like if I sold him beer and he was already drunk and thats why he went missing... I guess a taxi driver dropped him off at the beach around 11 that night. he was supposedly in my line at 5:15....

okay,,sorry to ramble....
My Mom should be finding out what type of Leukemia it is today or Monday. she has lots of hope. so thats was good to hear. thanks for your prayers and support!
