The golf lady phoned last night and apologised, she was about a mile from her home when she got the flat and couldn't get the bolts off so walked home. She offered me the match but being the nice girl I am I declined, we still have 3 weeks left to play it and it's not like she got the flat on purpose! I'd better win though

I went to bed around midnight after staying up to watch Serena play tennis. I vaguely heard them come in, thought about getting up to say hello, then promptly fell right back asleep.

MIL got up to see the boys off to school, and said it was nearly 2:00 when they went to bed. She's back in bed. I just did my crossword puzzle and may go back up soon, too.

She does say she wants to go to ski club, so that will be the main thing today. We'll be lazy this morning, obviously, and won't have a lot of time, then, to do much else. I need to figure out what I can leave for FIL for his dinner, but she says he'll be happy with a TV and the computer, so...

I think I'm going to go back up before I wake up TOO much and trying to sleep is pointless. BBL!

Then, MIL called and the flight that I'd checked on about an hour before it was to leave - and it looked fine then - is now not even scheduled to take off for over another hour (it was supposed to leave about an hour ago) and now their estimated arrival time is 12:29. Our airport isn't quite tiny - remember where I grew up, though - but I was a little concerned about the availability of cabs at that hour in a smallish airport. Even if they come when flights are scheduled in, at this stage I bet most of the people on the flight now need a cab. So, I've just called and arranged a car for them. Good deal, too - a Town Car for $35. D often pays $40 when he has to come home in a cab, so we're pleased! No charge for an extra person, either.

Good deal on the car and I hope that they arrived safely!

WHAT OMG that's so much money especially at the moment You guys are definitely expected to donate far more than we are. OK don't hate me but I doubt I even give $10 per year to charity (not including school fayres etc)

We don't give a ton either Jo. We do the candy sales, etc for school and once in a while they will have a dontate a dollar or quarter or something to som fund they are raising for. I don't mind that, but you flat out ask for that much money it irks me, especially when we are tyring to cut back on alot of things!

Boo is a bad influence, I did hoover upstairs and dust the whole house but then decided to read my book for a bit. Well she came and fell asleep on my chest and I might have joined her for a few minutes too, she was nice and warm

I'm just back from the Dr with Jess and the Dr was great, she spoke to Jess rather than me and is sending her to a specialist so hopefully we'll find out what's wrong But I always go silly in Dr's, I laugh and say stupid things like they'll have to chop her leg off right? just popping in to say hi! I dont even want to try and remember how long its been since ive been on here. midterms, papers, and finals came, then i left for 2 weeks during the holidays, and then the quarter started again. ...oh and i have a midterm tomorrow already.

So i havent read any, but I hope everyone is doing well. Ill try and keep up a bit more.

BTW does anyone watch lost? I only watched it in and out until season 5. So i wanted to watch every episode before the final season begins next week. The past few weeks it has taken over my life. I am halfway through season 4 already. I get obsessed and end up watching episodes until 1 am.

OK, I need your help! On February 20th the Cub Scout Pack is running an overnight trip to an indoor water park, but none of the iger Scouts are going because it is just too expensive ($60/pp). Jim and I decided that maybe we would hust have the boys here for the evening (not overnight, just for a few hours). Make some sundae's, popcorn, and a movie or something like that.

1st off any ideas for activities for me? How about a movie that 7 - 7 year old boys would like. We thought Transformers, but Jim and I rented that we think it just a bit too violent for that age.

Hey all. Greetings from procrastination land! We have done a whole lotta NUTTIN today! We watched movies (Precious...GREAT movie) and have surfed around a few TV shows. We have now settled on Harry Potter 5 for no good reason. KC is making breakfast for dinner as I type, I like not cooking. We havent cleaned or did anything on the "to do" list. Tomorrow will surely be a productive day, tonight I see us playing some video games and passing out early.

Good morning all Jim and Jimmy are off to school and I am about to start all my prepe for the satelitte guy coming tomorrow. I also have to run out to the store. I am snack mom for the Cub Scout Meeting tonight so I have to pick up some snacks and juice boxes. So my game plan is to de-clutter and dust the kitchen, dining room and living room. Straighten up our room. Shower, run to the store, then whe I get home declutter and dust the entertainment center in the basement.

The boys have scouts at 7:00pm, so it will be a wuick grilled cheese and soup for dinner night. Tomorrow they have the Pinewood Derby and I will be waiting for the satelitte guy to show up. I am hoping that he shows up in the fron half of the 4 hour window so that maybe I could still catch some of the derby. My luck that won't happen though. I will probably do laundry and suc while waiting for him to get here and then finish up.
