Just booked another trip to Center Parcs (where we're going for Christmas it's an activity village with a water park) we're going for a 4 day weekend in October and have chosen the Sherwood Forest one so we'll be on the hunt for the Sheriff of Nottingham ;) :rotfl: You know how I said it was relatively cheap well that was before David got involved and he wanted a fancier villa so that was an extra £100 :faint: Oh well he earns it so I suppose he can spend it :rotfl:

Juswanted to pop in and say hi  We are off to the Garden State Discovery Museum. Will take pics and post later. Hope you are all having a great day!:goodvibes

He will install the antivirus for free too !!! When mine gets back or they reimburse me as it is under warranty!! I will have him anti virus mine too and then that just leaves Steph!!!

Good Morning! The sun is finally out! Whoo Hoo!!! :cool1: I'm in a much better mood now that the dark clouds are gone. I need my happy dappy sunshine!

Need an extra set of oars:goodvibes:hug:
Practically! Everything is so saturated, I won't need to water for weeks, I'll bet.
Well it poured and I got soaked at golf but................. we won :yay: I finished the match with 6 straight pars to win :thumbsup2 My face is so rosy now as it was so windy and I think I'll sleep well tonight :rotfl2:
Congrats on the win. :thumbsup2
::yes:: Guess that extra 20 minutes will make him an engineer;)
You never know, you never know. ;)
Good Afternoon, All!

Thanks so much! I am going to make it back. Promise. Of course, I'll need some planning help from a certain Focker.(Hint, hint)
Just say the word, girlfriend. Oh and if you do, in California Focker tradition, we must break bread together. :goodvibes

I tried to call MIL, but had to leave a message. D reminded me that this is the last weekend our old babysitter is home from college, so I called her and we're going out tomorrow night. Woohooty! Then, we're planning on family ski day on Sunday. It's supposed to be nearly 40 - nice! :thumbsup2
Enjoy your night out! :goodvibes
Just a quick hello. Had an amazingly busy day but enjoyed it. Had a pedicure and everything! Made a new recipe tonight. Shrimp Fra Diavolo with linguine. Mmmmmmm
really really yummy but SO spicy!! Lol. Everyone was holing kleenexs at the table because it made our noses run.
Mmmm... sounds great. Share your recipe? I have one from Cooking Light, but I'd like to have yours, too.

I use to iTouch to DIS as well. I agree, it sucks to quote, etc. But it's great for keeping up.

Blah days for the past few. I have been feeling kinda run down and had a bad headache and a bit of dizziness.

What's going on? Maybe you're too cooped up and need to get out... go for a brisk walk, get some fresh air. I think it'll do you good. :)

Sounds like a nice long weekend. I'm going to have to check that place out.

Have fun!

Well, the Girl Scout cookie madness has begun. I had Maddie send out emails to most of you, but I don't want anyone to feel obligated to buy. I do want to help her reach her goal, but don't want to be that pushy "cookie mom", KWIM? I made her type it up and I agreed to send it out. Poor girl, took her 30 minutes to type 5 lines. :lmao:

Anyway, we finally got our summer trip all booked. I found a crazy deal on airfare out of Orange County to MCO for $218 pp, ROUNDTRIP!!! :faint: That's a near impossible fare, so I grabbed it up. Here's the kicker, we would have to extend our trip by 1 day and our flight would leave at 6:30am! I figured Magical Express would take us to the airport at 3:30am, if they'd even offer that service. So we decided, we'd just stay at AKV all day Thursday and have a car service take us to the airport after dinner and we can stay at the Hyatt in the airport that night and walk down stairs and jump on our flight. I even found a discounted rate at the Hyatt for $119! :thumbsup2

I'm off to finish laundry and clean upstairs. Have a great Saturday! :hippie:

Sounds like a great deal !!!That is an awesome airfare !!!!

Well would it be Rosie without some sort of adventure or such .....:rotfl2:

I receive a phone cal at work from home !!!! Kyle appears at the front door with a stray dog !!!!:scared1:Bella as they have named her is making herself at home and the other 2 dogs seem very happy could it be she is (we think_ female and they are males :scared1:Judy did walk the dog around the neighborhood looking for the owners but till Monday when she can call the SPCA to see if she's been reported missing she's staying !!! She's a poodle and quite well behaved thank goodness !!! The kids of course want to keep her but agree we need to search for her owners !!! Why me !! I swear this house has a hidden sign that says STRAYS welcome !!! :lmao::lmao:

I swear this house has a hidden sign that says STRAYS welcome !!! :lmao::lmao:
You have a good heart, Rosie. :goodvibes

Yesterday I was feeling sorry for myself, I hate that it just comes on out of nowhere :headache:, so a friend and I went to lunch and shopping. :goodvibes Of course I felt much better after that. Friends of my parents are in town so we went to dinner last night and had a very nice time.

Today is football, football, football. Love you Mo, but the J-E-T-S are going down! ;) Go COLTS. :cheer2:

I'm reading A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick and highly recommend it. :thumbsup2 Happy Sunday! :hippie:

You're allowed to have days like that

Been a relaxing but busy day if that makes sense. D cooked a full english brekkie and then we did some stuff in the garden. Jess and I then went to golf and Dave and Ellie went for a bike ride. The chicken is roasting in the oven so all in all a nice day. Oh and I cut David and Ellies hair. I always do D's but not Ellie's and lets just say I'm not a hairdresser :rotfl2: It looks OK though even if she has said she's never wearing it down EVER again :rotfl:

Good Morning all! My baby is growing up:sad1: We went to the discovery museum and after about an hour Jimmy turns to me and says this is boring lets go. Luckily I hadn't paid for the tickets, they were free. I guess he is just not into pretending to build a house anymore.

Afterwards we went to Pizzaria Uno for dinner, so that was nice. Jimmy got the make your own pizz, so he was thrilled with that.
Today is just the normal stuff. Jim and Jimmy are out doing the grocery shopping and I am doing laundry. The dishwasher is running too, so thats another thing out of the way. Next is de-cluttering and dusting the living room.

Hope you are all having a great day.:goodvibes

I feel like I either killed the thread or pissed someone off with my computer tantrum the other night?!?! :confused3

A lazy Sunday today, watching movies, if we can get the darn media center to work. the popcorn hour played all file types while windows does not. I wanna watch my copy of New Moon. I'm reading through the sunday paper too, looking for job listings.

Making some sauce later for lasagna tomorrow. It's gonna be a long week, KC is covering the 3-midnight shift for mon-wed so our schedule is gonna be all weird. I will prob go and stay with him one night to keep him company, and I need to buy shoes for the vow renewal.

anyways hope everyone is having a great weekend!

So did it:lmao:popcorn::
She has finally said it's OK but................. she's still going to wear it up :rotfl2:

Which includes what? :confused3
egg, bacon, sausage, bread (should be fried bread but we just do normal) In a traditional brekkie you also have fried mushroom (D told me off for forgetting to buy some :rotfl2: ) whole tinned tomatoes, maybe baked beans and  black pudding. As you can see we atually only had half a brekkie :rotfl2:

You couldn't have possibly mucked it up that much. :upsidedow
Well I think it's fine :rotfl:

I feel like I either killed the thread or pissed someone off with my computer tantrum the other night?!?! :confused3

Jo - Glad she thinks it is ok now!

Kat - Nope, it's just been quiet. Everyone is busy with stuff!

+++++++++++++++++++++++
I have one load of laundry left to do. The outside Christmas decorations are FINALLY down. If we didn't get them done today Jim threatened to paint the snowmen red and leave them up for valentines day:lmao:

Jim ran to Pep Boys to get some oil for my car. I apparently haven't checked it in a while:rolleyes1 When he gets back we will start dinner. Steak, mashed taters, green beans, and salad for us. Chicken nuggets, mased taters and mac & cheese for Jimmy. He won't eat any beef:sad2:

Jimmy has half days tomorrow and Tuesday so the teachers can have 2 half days of professional development. Wouldn't it just be easier to give the kids off one whole day:confused3 He will go to his after school program for a half day and then I will pick him up for his OT appointment about 4:00pm. Other than that it is going to be a fairly uneventful week:thumbsup2

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. :grouphug:

:rotfl2: You'd be surprised at how many people leave their stuff up all year. UGH! :sad2:

*********************************************************
Well, with all the rain, we've been cooped up in the house, so we hit Disneyland today. It was wonderful weather... the sun was nice and warm. The crowds were low until around noon. We got there around 9:30 and rode Space, Matterhorn, Buzz, BTMRR, Pirates, & Casey Jr. before noon and headed to ESPN Zone for some lunch and football. ESPN was requiring a minimum of $10 per hour, per person, so we had a quick lunch and hit up the cupcake store and came home. It was so nice to get out and walk around. :cloud9:

Not much else going on. I've got CE's Italian beef in the crock pot for dinner, so that'll be nice and easy. Tomorrow it starts all over again. Oh joy.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :hippie:
