Ellie ended up going T&Ting for about 1.5 hours, it stopped raining, luckily for me though the friend she went with had her 16 y/o sister and 15 y/o brother supervising so I didn't have to go :thumbsup2

Emma my sister is running in the NY marathon right now, looks as though the weather is fine so that's good, hope she finishes :thumbsup2

It's been really horrid here today, the rain was so heavy so we couldn't do anything so I made David help me strip the wallpaper off of the last wall in our bedroom, yes I have been doing that bedroom for months now :rotfl: Hopefully now the dirty job is done it's only painting left which is pretty quick. At this rate though it should be done by about August :rotfl:

Glad you wre able to get out of ToT. :thumbsup2 Good Luck to your isi! Have fun with the wallpaper.

Woody's been sticking to about a 100 temp with the Motrin, so I think tomorrow's probably out for school. We're supposed to not send them until they're fever-free for 24 hours. Flame if you must, but I fudge it down to about 18 - I hate to keep them home, bored silly, if they're fine the afternoon before, but weren't in the morning. However, he's still hot, and without the Motrin it goes up higher, so...

We just got a phone call from Lindsey's school this afternoon reminding parents of this. I fudge it down too so your not alone. :thumbsup2

I go back to work tomorrow, so I want to try and get some last minute stuff done today. My next job is cleaning the bathroom. Then I want to take the Halloween decorations down and put the Thanksgiving decorations up. We'll see if that gets done or gets pushed off til next weekend.

:thumbsup2 We need to get ours down as well. Not too many Thanksgiving ones go up for us, but come Christmas time there will be.

*********************************************

We've had a lazy down around here. I've been doing laundry and I know I should be doing some type of homework or studying but I really don't feel like it. I'll wait until later tonight after the kids are in bed and the house is quiet. DR is hyped up on sugar and Lindsey is whining that her tummy hurts. She feels warm so I'm hoping she doesn't come down with something. :sad2:

Plus, I want to start a PTR for our trip next September. I have some stuff typed up in Word but need to finish it up. Hopefully I can get to that tonight as well or what I'm really hoping for is that my kids take a nap. :rotfl:

That's about it for us. Hope you are all enjoying this lovely fall day! (Well, at least here in my part of OH it is).

TTYL!

TE I can't imagine you getting cross :

Yeah...well...it happens!

I was going to say don't teams start practicing these routines motnsh in advance:confused3 :
they started practicing in May, but they haven't had any music--now they keep re-teaching 13 girls a routine to "fit" to the music. I told them they had it backwards---you get your music, get your choreography...THEN teach 13 people. :headache:

Jim says the same thing about me:confused3:

:confused3must be a guy thing??

Janet--back to work tomorrow?? How do you feel?

+_++++++++++
Daran and BA went fishing again and Ab is at work....cleaning a bit and playing with the kitty,,,,and redecorating Cafe world! Important things!

....trying to decide if I should apologize about cheerleading. BA says to "see what happens"--she said I said what needed to be said....although "there were probably nicer ways to say it."
Feels good to be a role model to young girls! :flower3:

Here too and 48 hours for sickness!

Let us know how she does!:thumbsup2
Will do and what exactly do you have for Thanksgiving decorations?

Wow you're keen :rotfl2:

Why has my rating gone from 103 to 13 in a few days? It's really bugging me :rotfl2:

I'll look at your cafe.
Remember to always go to home before you get out of FB and your buzz will stay same too! :thumbsup2

I keep all my fall flower decorations, pumpkins, etc....just remove all the witches and obvious Halloween stuff!

:thumbsup2 We need to get ours down as well. Not too many Thanksgiving ones go up for us, but come Christmas time there will be.

I just have a few things!:thumbsup2

Are these the same coaches as last year:confused3

:thumbsup2

Just some scarecrows and turkeys...I will take pics and post when we get them up. Not gonna happen today though.

---------------

Jim is getting ready to grill some steaks. Potatoes are in the oven baking. Have to make the salad and cook the green beans. Also, have to make mac & cheese for Jimmy:rolleyes:

Got the inside decorations down,, but at this point the outside decorations won't come down until next weekend, which is fine..I guess:rolleyes:

As I said earlier I am back to work tomorrow, Jimmy has a 5:00 doctor appointment, so Jim is going to take him to that.

On Tuesday they are going to go to the library to start working on Jimmy's Science Fair project. His chosen topic is Sharks:eek:

After that we actually have a quiet week and nothing to do again until Friday Night and Cub Scouts :thumbsup2

Be careful!

I was, but I'm quite the Lumberjill. :lmao:

Oh, good. He hasn't had Motrin since 9:00, and he's sticking in the 99 to 100 range. So, I imagine we'll give it one more day. Sigh. It's just that he's already bored silly, so another day is going to be ugly.

She feels warm so I'm hoping she doesn't come down with something. :sad2:

Fingers crossed for you!

Nah, sounds like they need the kick. ;)

::yes:: I have some stuff already out that's just pumpkins, but the jack-o-lanterns, witches, ghosts, etc. go away. I took a few things down today, but didn't even get them to the basement. :sad2:

That sounds yum. I had to go run for thermometer covers (we use the ear one, and it just won't work without the cover - I never bothered with the mouth ones...) Anyway, since I had to do that, I might as well pick up dinner, right? :rolleyes1 So, I got Chinese. :thumbsup2

After that we actually have a quiet week and nothing to do again until Friday Night and Cub Scouts :thumbsup2

Nice! I have a lot of e-mailing to do for Book Fair which starts next Monday, but otherwise my week is pretty quiet. No tennis matches, nothing special but the follow-up vet appointment Wed... :thumbsup2

I've been working with the chair of our bookfair. It's going to be a "holiday" book fair so we have it scheduled for the 2nd week of December! I never realized how much went into the book fairs :faint:

-------------------------

Dinner done!:thumbsup2 Lunches for tomorrow are packed:thumbsup2 Jim is watching football. I'm off to put launsry away and get everything else ready for tomorrow.

If I get a chance I will check in during the day tomorrow. Have a good night all.

Here is Jimmy in his WOlverine costume last night.

Happy Work Day to You Janet!! Let us know how you're doing! (aka--get on the puter and update your status hourly...or sooner!);)

Here's my robot, since we've seen Harry Potter already. ;)

We decided to celebrate the removal of the ugly bush/tree by opening up one of the terribly expensive bottles of wine BIL gave to D for his "best man" present. It is quite, quite nice. :lovestruc

Janet, I'll miss you during the days!

Man, did I think that ball was leaving the park, speaking of Janet... (1st inning, Utley...

Night!

Hi, thanks, bye! :wave2:

*************************************************
Well, we had really about decided last night that Woody could go this morning - he was good from about 10:00 a.m. on, really, yesterday. The temp this morning was fine, but he just doesn't look right yet, and was crying over whether or not he should go. He LOVES school, so if he was waffling, he obviously doesn't feel quite right, so we'll give it one more day. By tomorrow, there should be no question and we'll all feel better about it.

But it's going to be a long day, I think.

D still seems to think that I should be OK to go to tennis - he'll either stick here or come back so that I can go.

I don't know too much else! I'm sure I'll be in and out.

I miss Janet----think I should call her boss and tell him we are worried about her and that she needs to check in more often??........she DID say everyone was sick at work....what if she's caught something already??..........or what if <<gasp>>she can't remember how to log into her work computer????..................that's it....I'm gonna call!

CE---how's he feeling??

Well, I'm going into work some this afternoon. FIrst of the month so I don't have as much charting to do which is nice! :goodvibes

Boots wants me to stay and play with him tho.....and he IS having major surgery tomorrow......at least, it would be major to most folks if they had to have their privates chopped off! :scared1:

See that cute little furball of white and black sitting on the table on the box...well she ain't so cute! That darn cat bit me tonight! We were watching a movie after ToT and she was sitting on me. DR was doing something to her and all of a sudden she bit down on my arm and would NOT let go. She broke through the skin and it hurt like heck! I'm just hoping it doesn't get infected. :headache:
Be careful with that. My cat who does get his shots and stays indoors, bit me and my arm swelled so badly I had to be on antibiotics for a week.

Then I want to take the Halloween decorations down and put the Thanksgiving decorations up.
I decided Thanksgiving decorations worked in conjunction with Halloween so mine have been up awhile. Now I have just a few strictly Halloween decorations that do need to come down. :thumbsup2

How's work going? :confused3

I love all the Halloween pics! So cute. :goodvibes

 to all the people who don't feel well.

Mitch got the preliminary papers to be deployed in January. Now I'm starting to freak out, not about his safety, but how we'll manage financially. Next weekend he'll be with his army unit and will get more information so he can the discuss it with work. I suppose the best bet is try not to worry until I know for sure.

A friend is bringing her two daughters the first week in December for a visit. They are 2 and 4 and although they don't know they are coming yet, they will be so excited when they find out. We're going to MVMCP which I do love and possible the Osborne lights. I cannot believe Christmas will be here so soon.

================================

Good morning all (it is still morning right??) Just stopping in quickly to say hi and say I HATE MY JOB! J/K. It's just crazy busy so I won't be checkin gin much during the day. Things going well so far. Will give more details tonight after Jimmy is in bed!

I thought I'd come here and read all the fabulous Cafe World tips from TE but looks like she forgot me :sad2::rotfl2: I'm down to a 5 buzz now :rotfl2:

CE and Janet the boys look great, Janet have a great day at work and CE hope your little man gets better today

Oh no, hope it's all good news

Beautiful sunny day here so we all went for a nice hour and a bits walk, Jess and I then went to play golf but it got really chilly and the ball wouldn't go so far so it wasn't fun towards the end :rotfl2:

Last day of school holiday tomorrow, E is off swimming not sure what J and I will do!

Oh forgot to say Em did the NY marathon in under 5 hours, she said she has never run so fast in all her life as she did the last 400m as she wanted to get under 5 hours. Her time was 4 hrs 59 minutes 51 seconds :rotfl: I don't think I could walk for 5 hours straight let alone run it
