Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

Isn't that wonderful!!!!!:headache::sad2: Just what we need 2 freaking Lizards !!!!!!!!

Congrats Rosie:lmao::hug:

We have three other fundraisers (did I mention that I will be on the ballot for fundraising chair? :rolleyes:) but these book fairs do as well or better, though they don't fall under the fundraising chairperson's umbrella...

I am just amember at large and I am quite happy with that. They keep trying to get me to chair things but no way. My excuse is that I work full time and none of the other people on theboard do;)

Books! There were a couple waiting for me when we got back, but these got lost in the "held mail" system somehow. Joint gifts from BIL/SIL and stepSIL/BIL. I have some reading to do! :eek:

Glad they finally found them!:thumbsup2

I feel so bad, like I pushed them out - and then this happened. :guilty:

D says not to be silly, but... Darn it. I guess at least thank goodness that the kids' lift tix were free, so it wasn't a huge waste of money, just time and effort. :sad2:

I hope he is feeling better:hug:

++++++++++++++

The trip to the firehouse was a huge success:thumbsup2 The boys had a ball and now most of them are only one activity away from earning thier Tiger badges.:woohoo: Did I tell you I got roped into being Trip Coordinator for scouts...yeah, like I don't have enough to do. Well, I roped my friend Joy (Jimmy's friend Tyler's mom) into being my co-coordinator so it should be too bad:thumbsup2

Other than that it's quiet. Jimmy is curled up on the couch with Jim watching Pokemon with Jim and I just wanted to check in here. ope you all have agood night all:goodvibes

I'm too good at what I do, I guess...and I don't have your excuse (which seems perfectly legitimate to me!)

He made it home fine and sounds OK, but they went right to bed.

Happy Birthday Rosie

We've had a fun day :rolleyes1 I thought I'd do some gardening this afternoon and we let Boo explore outside, she spent about 2 hours playing etc then all of a sudden she was at the top of our tree, it's a fir type tree and very tall. Anyway she couldn't get down as was in it for over 1.5 hours :faint: I stood at the top of a ladder for about half an hour trying to coax her down, in the end she came close enough for me to grab her, she tried holding on though so she's lucky she has any claws left :rotfl: Little devil :lmao:

I saw that on Jess's FB. :rotfl: I'm sorry you had to hang out on a ladder. :hug:

Lazy day so far around here. The rain hasn't started yet, but it's coming. The boys want to go to the library, I think to get a movie to watch tonight. They've been outside playing in the meantime, before the rain. And that's about it - so exciting! :rotfl2:

Um, isn't Vegas where you come home with a special souvinier????:lmao:

:rotfl2:

I know exactly what you mean ::yes::

Good afternoon! Spent the morning cleaning Jimmy's room and culling the stuffed animal collection. Shhhhhh, son't tell but I got rid of a huge trash abg full of them. Mostly the junk ones that he got at carnivals and in claw machines. Between that and trying to reorganize all his books so they fit in the book cases in his room It took me almost 3 hours to do that:headache:

Jim and Jimmy have been working on some of his electives for Cub Scouts today and now I need to get started on the laundry:laundy:.

Tomorrow is Scout Sunday, which is where the scouts attend services at the church where we hold our meetings, as a sort of Thank you for letting us use their space. That is at 10:00am and then 2 of his friends are coming over tomorrow for a playdate, so that should be fun....for him:rolleyes:

The weather is complete carp! pouring rain and 50 mph winds. It feels like Faye:sad2:

Hope everyone is having a lovely day!:goodvibes:grouphug:

I did books yesterday, but I need to do the stuffed animals. Both boys have double beds, but sleep in about 10 inches due to the animals... :rotfl: Like you, we have a ton of "cheap ones" from claws or whatever that I wouldn't mind going. I hate to ditch the Webkinz after all the money we spent on them. :sad2:

Yuck.

It's just now starting to rain here, but we have wind and flood warnings through Monday.

Took the kids to the library, where we got the 3rd Harry Potter movie (we finished the book last week) and some books.

I'm very into the college basketball, and my Illini are up by 10 now :banana: - which is good - with some of the other losses today/yesterday, we need a good solid performance, if not a win, to get in the tournament. Yesterday when we won, it seemed like that would do it, but then the picture changed up last night/this afternoon. :headache:

I jinxed it! Carp! What was I thinking? Now we're down by 4 - OSU just went on a 15-0 run! :scared1:

I didn't get rid of any of the ones that were gifts or that we actually paid for.

Keeping my fingers croosed for you;)

REMINDER: DST STARTS TOMORROW MORNING. REMEMBER TO JUMP YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD ONE HOUR...at least those of you who live in states that do this;)

Jimmy is watching a Pokemon movie. I have a load of clothes in the washer and a load in the dryer. Have 1/2 of the play date set up for tomorrow, now I just need to call the other kid and see if he is coming or not.

BBL:grouphug:

I hate OT:headache:

Yeah, so do I now. One of our big guys fouled out at the start of the first OT, and we just couldn't hang on without him for the 2nd. Still, it was a good game and most analysis puts us in the tournament now. I need MN to lose, though, to feel safe. And I hate to root for Purdue. :rotfl:

Hello!

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi before I leave. It's been a rough 24 hrs here at home. Yesterday after I picked the boys up and brought them home, Gus started to feel bad. By bedtime he had a temp. He ended up vomiting. Poor guy!!!
He's much better today but I've been edgy all night/day. The last thing anyone wants to do is have tummy flu on vacation!:scared1: Fortunately, it looks like it was just a 24 hr thing.
Also, Rex (our other bunny) got spooked by something and completely wigged out in his cage and darn near killed himself! It was awful!!!
Poor baby. I was seriously scared that he'd bash himself to death.
:0(
Anyway, I'm packed and so is everyone else. The house is prepped, bunny-sitter has been briefed and bills paid. I plan on being at BLT having a drink a this time tomorrow night.
Miss you all!
Mel:banana:

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSIE:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

++++++++++++++++

Only 2 loads of laundry left to do:woohoo: Trying to get it done tonight so I can do some general straightening and hoovering tomorrow before jimmy's friends come ove. Not sure if the mom's are just dropping off or plan on staying so I want to be prepared just in case.

Jimmy had pj day today, but he must have been tired. He fell asleep before I fiished rading his story. He NEVER does that.

Jim is watching the History Channel, so I thought Id check in here and then go do some Williamsburg planning. Not too much planning to do, but just going to read up on some stuff. I think this is going to be a VERY differsnt vacation than Disney, should be interesting.

Have a good night all:goodvibes

Hello Fockers!!!

It's been 3 days since I signed on, I didn't even realize!

Thurs we had the 2nd treatment of the exterminator, so we were exiled for about 3 hours. We went to Dunkin for breakfast and then did a bit of grocery shopping. Then we tried moving furniture around but nothing worked. We ended up ordering sushi and goofing off the rest of the day.

Fri we started putting our house back together but it was slow going. The rain has been sucking our will to clean. We even napped in the middle of the day!

Today we started the rest of the cleaning, and got to everything but putting the actual clothes back in the closets, but that was a large feat. We did nap again so we are bound to be up late again, oh well.

Tomorrow we need to put these stinkin' clothes back in the closets/drawers and then do the laundry.

KC got his interview for the new job on Thurs of this coming week, at 2pm- some pixie dust would be appreciated. I am applying like a mad woman, hoping for someone to throw us a bone. We leave for Boston in a week and a half.

That about does it.

Hope everyone is doing great and those in WDW are having a fabulous time! :hug::hug::hug:

Happy springing forward to those of us that do. yup...I'm still awake.:surfweb: I hate daylight savings sometimes.

Marc left for work and had to take the dog and cats down to my parents so be babysat while were at DL. So that means I'm all alone and I hate it. Thats why ive been avoiding going to bed. Im used to having my cats both cuddled up next to me. lol I feel like an old cat lady already.

I booked our cruise on the Dream:banana: I was trying to wait for my CM discount codes to be ready, but i didnt want to wait longer and have the price shoot up. I'll just amend it later. This will be our first cruise and I'm already super excited. After I did that I set up a bit of our disney honeymoon registry that well be using too.:thumbsup2

Now i better get to bed so i can wake up and cram for finals all day tomorrow. I'm such a terrible procrastinator.:rolleyes:

We change ours in 2 weeks time :thumbsup2

Hope you have a great time Mel and it sounds as though you need a break :hug:
