Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

Hello Fockers!!!

Good luck getting everything back in order. That has got to be soooo stressful.

Good vibes heading North for both you and KC.

BTW - Jim and I are thinking of taking Jimmy up to the City for a day trip this summer. Toys R Us is a must and FAO Schwarz. ANy other suggestions for kids. How much of a pain to get to the Bronx Zoo? If we do are you and KC going to be able to meet us, at least for lunch? It will proably be in July if we do it. There is a bus that leaves 30th Street station that costs only $13~:goodvibes

Happy springing forward to those of us that do. yup...I'm still awake.:surfweb: I hate daylight savings sometimes.

Me too. Wish they would just leave it like this!:headache:

We change ours in 2 weeks time :thumbsup2

So we are only 5 hours apart for the next two weeks:confused3

It's Mothers Day here and I got some lovely pressies but some kids with attitude :headache: Both have been in their rooms at some point today oh and Boo is up the tree again :rotfl2:

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY:hug:

++++++++++++++++

Boys left for Scout Sunday and I am just grabbing something to eat and then I am going to start my straightening and hoovering.

It is still carppy and rainy here and looks like its going to be like this untl Tuesday:sad2:

Hope everyone is having a great day. BBL:grouphug:

KC got his interview for the new job on Thurs of this coming week, at 2pm- some pixie dust would be appreciated. I am applying like a mad woman, hoping for someone to throw us a bone.

:wizard: and more on Thursday!

Happy springing forward to those of us that do. yup...I'm still awake.:surfweb: I hate daylight savings sometimes.

The first day is rough, but I adore DST.

I booked our cruise on the Dream:banana: I was trying to wait for my CM discount codes to be ready, but i didnt want to wait longer and have the price shoot up. I'll just amend it later. This will be our first cruise and I'm already super excited. After I did that I set up a bit of our disney honeymoon registry that well be using too.

Awesome!

Yep, here, too - but Tuesday looks nice.

D & I were up way too late for no reason. Then with the time change (which I do love, but...the first day is hard) it's hard to believe it's already 11:00.

After I took the kids to the library and we'd picked up the Harry Potter, which the library only had in Fullscreen, D decided he didn't want to watch it in Fullscreen on our nice system. So, he got online and found all 6 HP movies in a bundle, as well as the 3rd Indiana Jones and the 3rd of the newer Star Wars, all for not much money. :thumbsup2 They went to Best Buy and picked them up, then grabbed pizza (since we didn't do that on Friday with the skiing) and we ended up watching Indy 3 last night. With the rain, we've said we could watch a movie or two today during the day.

D has to be AT the airport at 4:30 tomorrow morning, so we'll definitely have an earlier night. I just joked that he should be going to bed in about 3 hours. :rotfl:

That's about all I know! Have a happy Sunday, friends. :grouphug:

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSIE:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Have a good night all:goodvibes

Thanks for the birthday wishes !!!!:cloud9:

I

Keeping my fingers croosed for you;)

REMINDER: DST STARTS TOMORROW MORNING. REMEMBER TO JUMP YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD ONE HOUR...at least those of you who live in states that do this;)

BBL:grouphug:

As my internet was down yestereday I didn't see your announcemnet !! Thank goodness Judy knew or I would have been late for work this evening :rotfl2:

I love that it is lighter later into the evening, but I wish we didn't have to change back in November:sad2:

Happy springing forward to those of us that do. yup...I'm still awake.:surfweb: I hate daylight savings sometimes.

Marc left for work and had to take the dog and cats down to my parents so be babysat while were at DL. So that means I'm all alone and I hate it. Thats why ive been avoiding going to bed. Im used to having my cats both cuddled up next to me. lol I feel like an old cat lady already.

I booked our cruise on the Dream:banana: I was trying to wait for my CM discount codes to be ready, but i didnt want to wait longer and have the price shoot up. I'll just amend it later. Now i better get to bed so i can wake up and cram for finals all day tomorrow. I'm such a terrible procrastinator.:rolleyes:

I was up stupid late too! It's been almost a year since my kittky passed so we are def thinking it's time for a new furr baby! Congrats on the cruise- I would LOVE to do one eventually!

It must be nice being able to get everything back to normal and good luck to both you and KC :hug:

Thanks! HAPPY MUM'S DAY!!!!!

Staring at this mess for days is making the OCD me NUTS!

The Bronx zoo is kind far and would prob eat up a lot of time in your day. How about the central park zoo? It's only $10 and it's really nice, we go at least once a year. The entrance nearest it in Central Park is near FAO. There is the Nintendo World store maybe (they have Wii's you can play), or the Sony Wonder Store/Interactive thing? There is a Children's Museum of Manhattan, we haven't been but i'm sure you can find out about it. And of course we'd come out and meet you!!! That would be so much fun!

The first day is rough, but I adore DST.

I totally agree!

Thanks for the birthday wishes !!!!:cloud9:

Happy Birthday again, I posted one on FB too! Congrats on the laptop!

Hi all, just popping in to say "hi". :wave:

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday!

HI! I was wondering if you could tell me where you get the best deals on scrapbooking stuff? I am thinking of taking a bunch of "memory" stuff I have in boxes and actually scrapbooking them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good afternoon all!
I am procrastinating! These stupid bags are staring at me but I just don't wanna clean them up.
We are seriously considering moving to KC's parent's house for a while, maybe 6 months. I think we both want to avoid this but since I haven't found a job yet we are seriously struggling for $. I hope he gets this new job, which is a considerable amount more money. He is thinking , if they let him, he will stay at his current job just for weekends and work the new one as well. The new job is a 7pm to 7am shift 3 days a week, so he could do the other job 2 or 3 days a week. I just need to find something, anything.
BTW is anyone following my blog?? I feel like I am writing for myself. LOL.
I am off to conquer mount clothing bags. Have a great day!
Cool! Will have to check out the CP Zoo and will let you know when we make definite plans.
I get days like that then I get in complete oCD mode and then everything has to get done at once!
Alrady voted. What does he win?
Good Evening, Friends!
UPDATE:
CE says D is finding home projects to be very exasperating. She is not sleeping well. She is also having some allergy issues.
The remodel/fix thing can be such a pain. We have the same problem with this house. You think something will be a snap only to find that some idiot before you did something all wrong which causes more work. I’m sorry about the lack of sleep and your allergies. The trees are budding here. I’ve been having some sinus problems too.
ROSIE is looking at laptops. She wants one for herself. She will be getting it tomorrow. Puppy pictures at post #325. They have lizards now. Her birthday was Saturday!
Did any of you notice that Rosie is actually quoting?
Oh Rosie, I’m so sorry I forgot to post your B-day on Enchanted so here’s a belated wish to one of the most entertaining Americanized Brits I know…….
Happy Birthday, Rosie!
JO has Disney in her license plate and she didn’t even ask for it. She played good golf with hail. She was up a tree with Boo! She needs us to vote for Boo, post #370.
I guess I need to start looking around more for ‘hidden’ Disney. I voted 5 stars for Boo.
JANET took the scouts to the fire house. They loved it. BTW, she was drafted as the trip coordinator.
I would have had fun too. I hope you got a few ‘quiet’ moments to yourself this weekend. Doesn’t everyone move their clocks ahead now? I thought Indiana was the last hold out??
TAZ’s daughter is having some abdomen pain that may be related to a previous issue. She got to practice with the new camera at the hockey game this week.
I hope she will be OK. Sending prayers.
MEL and DAWN are both in WDW!!!!!
ANGIE says it has rained so much that she needed to drain the pool.
I’ve never thought about this issue with a pool!
T is still doing the GS cookie dance. Evan wants to go to Vegas.
Is this the last weekend for the cookies? Evan does understand that there is no Mickey and Minnie at Vegas???
KAT had to deal with the debugging on Thurs. KC has his job interview this next Thursday.
Good Luck to the both of you!!!!
CEL BEL booked her ‘Dream’ cruise. She is now cramming for some finals tomorrow.
Congrats and Good Luck on the exams.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
It’s been a rough day.
I had to work by myself last night. It was busy so I was beat when I got home. Plus, what I thought was just allergies has turned into a head cold. I have had a slight headache since last evening. I had to send Doug to the store to get some meds because he apparently has used everything in the house and not told me.
I thought I would just relax today since I wasn’t feeling so hot………. then one of the dogs threw up right in front of me on the living room carpet. JOY!!!! So I went into hyper-clean mode. I steam-cleaned the whole living room then swept and mopped the kitchen. I had Doug vacuum. The laundry is getting done also. I figured if I was gonna have to move I might as well make it count.
Nothing much scheduled for the next couple of days. I think we will go to Menard’s tomorrow and get some more primer and pick up some plans for the deck we want to build off the patio. Doug has physical therapy also. So we will probably eat lunch in town as well.
I’ll pop back in tomorrow.
Just popping in to say Hi. I hope everyone had a good weekend. We have had a ton of rain and it took its toll. I have had a headache all day and my back and knee have been throbbing all weekend. Hopefully the rest of the week will go better. I think the rain is supposed to go away soon.
On a happy note I paid off my Disney trip yesterday, three days early. I will be in my happy place in 47 days. :woohoo: It will be with my mother but I will just run her over with the ECV my hubby has ordered me to rent if she annoys me too much. :rotfl2: Seriously, I am really looking forward to the trip. I have never seen the Flower and Garden show and my aunt will be joining us for a day or two. I haven't seen her in nearly a year.
Oh well back to researching my paper and studying for my exam.
Where is everyone???? It's gone 11am you lazy lot :rotfl2:
I voted 5 stars for Boo.
Thanks :thumbsup2
So 24 hours later Madame Boo is out of the tree, she went up at about 10am yesterday and thanks to the very annoying people behind us was so scared, they were mowing their lawn, trimming their hedges, using long loppers to cut bits off the tree she was in etc etc for hours and hours :headache: their garden is the size of a postage stamp too :sad2: :rotfl2: We tried several times and then it got dark so we just had to leave her, we then hardly slept as we thought the worst wuld happen. Anyway she survived the night (she made herself very comfy up there) and we tried again, after about half an hour she still wouldn't come close enough so our new neighbour, who must be about 70 said he'd try and he bounded up the tree and eventually grabbed her. Needless to say she is now housebound oh and the first thing she did was an enormous poo in her litter tray :rotfl2:
We then went to the supermarket, made ourselves a picnic and went for anice walk followed by some time at the golf club practising my chipping and putting :thumbsup2
A years supply of food but as she hardly eats anything it won't cost them much :rotfl2:
Cool!:thumbsup2
Crazy at work since I got here this morning:headache:. Just a quick pop-in to say hi and hope all is well with everyone:goodvibes.
Jimmy has a Dr. appointment at 5:00, but Jim is taking him to that and I have a beef stew in the crock pot for dinner, so I may go home turn off the crock pot and go to bed...I am tired.
Have a good one all:grouphug:
Silly Boo! I'm glad she is now housebound though. :goodvibes
Janet, at least the day should go quickly! :hug:
Mitch is home this week, so I may not be on much. This morning he was calling all our creditors to reduce our interest rates whilst he's deployed. Our USAA credit card will be 4%. :banana: How nice if they would always be that low. I am going to try to get as much paid off as possible whilst they are though.
My godmother's father passed away this morning. She's more worried about her mother who had to be moved to an Alzheimer's facility over the weekend. They aren't sure exactly how her mother will react.
I forget if I mentioned it, but my mother has two compression fractures in her spine. Probably had them for quite awhile and decided taking Aleve would be enough. :rolleyes: She has an appointment with the orthopedic and other than rest or surgery, I don't know what can be done.
Have a good day! :goodvibes
I'm sorry, does her Mother understand what's happened?
Yikes, hope they're able to do something :hug:
Where's CE? Hope her cold/allergies haven't got worse!
My "boyfriend" is coming round in about an hour to look at fitting a catflap, it'll be locked for a while though :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
Nice!
Crazy at work since I got here this morning:headache:.
I'm sorry!
Ugh. Still raining.
D went to bed around 9:30 since he had to get up at 3:00. I wasn't tired yet, so I stayed up, then got into a book and stayed up MUCH later than was necessary - I didn't go to bed until nearly 2:00 and then I still woke him up when I got in bed, even though I tried to not. :headache:
So, then, of course I was ridiculously tired this morning. I was just having the kids get their shoes on when my neighbor called. Her DS9 has strep and was still sleeping, but she needed to get her DS13 to school (private, no bus) and so she asked if I'd come sit in the house whilst she drove the older one to school, in case the younger one woke up.
I did that, he never woke up, and I was back home at 8:30. I put chicken & noodles in the crock pot, then went back to bed until about 11:00, when I got back up and got ready for tennis drills.
I have to get moving a bit - my book fair co-chair and I are meeting here tomorrow morning, which means some cleaning is in order. I did a lot of de-cluttering over the weekend, but I need to do the floors, and make sure we have a good place to work. :thumbsup2
Hope you're all having a good Monday! :grouphug:
