Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

Is she crazy :scared1: What was her due date? I feel like yo just told us she was pregnant????
June 10. I keep telling her if she has the baby now, Uncle Mooch can see him. She has a doctors appt tomorrow, but last week when she went, the doctor didn't examine her because she didn't want to get anything started.

The Phillies lost:sad2:
And guess who's in first place now? :rolleyes1

something I didn't post about cruise on FB: it was a much needed break for both of us....
Isn't cruising lovely? :cloud9:

Our dog found a car that had two barking schnauzers in it, and jumped up on the car to see them - scratching the door some with his nails. I pulled him right off, but there are superficial marks.
I can't believe they took your money. :rolleyes:

Physio went well Jess has something called patellasomethingorother :rotfl2:
Good thing you got a professional diagnosis. :rotfl:

Mitch is at the airport waiting to see if he can get on an earlier. Of course, you know flights to Orlando are always full, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Yesterday was a much nicer day on the boat - of course, since we needed to get off the lake early. :rolleyes: But, it was a good thing.

We got home in time for regular dinner, showers, the whole works. The boys were still tired this morning, but they did get a "real" night's sleep, so...

Glad you had fun:goodvibes

Maybe I need a job on a cruise boat...what could I do????????

Ladies and gentleman may I introduce your Cruise Director - Julie:lmao:

something I didn't post about cruise on FB: it was a much needed break for both of us....

So glad you had a fabulous time:goodvibes

Physio went well Jess has something called patellasomethingorother Basically as she's so tall her hip, thigh and knee muscles are weak so when she walks her knee doesn't shift properly. The physio strapped it so it pulled the patella (knee cap) to the correct position and she has exercises to do too :thumbsup2 Then I picked up Ellie and :eek: I know this is horrid as the Mum is so nice but her house :eek: OMG it was filthy and messy. Now I'm not really house proud but I didn't even want to sit down :rotfl2: I made Ellie have a shower as soon as she came home :rotfl2: Then it was off to the orthodontist for her moulds, apparently her teeth have improved and we're now lucky we're getting it free, braces are being fitted on Thursday. We then stopped at the mattress shop on the way home and I got them a memory foam mattress each and now I have no money left :rotfl2:

Hope the excercises help Jess:goodvibes. And :scared1: about the house.

So, it's fine. I mean, who wants to spend an extra $100, but he did do it, so... And from now on, I'LL be the one holding the leash... :rolleyes:

Probably alot less than your deductable:thumbsup2

Janet - I found a box but ran out of tape. :rotfl: No matter, I'll mail it tomorrow! I can even get tape at the PO if need be. ;)

Thanks!

And guess who's in first place now? :rolleyes1

Enjoy it while you can missy:rolleyes1:hug:

Mitch is at the airport waiting to see if he can get on an earlier. Of course, you know flights to Orlando are always full, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Will keep my fingers crossed for him:goodvibes:hug:

I got a clean bill of health from the eye doctor and I don't have to go back unless there is flare-up. I told him the only time I wanted to see him was in a bar:lmao:

Had the mammo follow-up - all is well:thumbsup2

Jimmy had OT and then we cam home and had some left over hot dogs and burgers for dinner. Jimm is now watching one of the Land Before Time movies.

Tomorrow night is Shawmont Night at Rita's (Water ice). The school get 25% of the sales between 4pm and 7pm, so we will go to that.

Nothing on the agenda for tonight, except the Phillies/Braves game...Angela;)

Have a good one all!:thumbsup2

Mitch got on the airplane. :banana:

Janet, I love that you love sports too. :thumbsup2 You just like the wrong teams. :rolleyes1 :rotfl: :hug:

Man, I have a serious case of OPK going on.

Got a message from the coach's wife (who normally does go out in the field, etc.) that the coach wouldn't be there, so she rattled off assignments for 3 of the dads (including D) and also my friend and I as dugout moms or whatever.

D's flying, my friend and her DH are at a Sox game, the third dad started a new job and couldn't be there. We were a completely mom-coach staff tonight.

I know most of the kids are young, and I know the late weeknight games are hard, but I swear to god, some of these kids just need a kick in the rear. One will not try for anything - nothing, nada, ever. Won't try at his bats, won't pay attention in the field, nothing. One can hold his attention for maybe two seconds, but mostly won't sit down in the dugout and won't stand up when in the field. :rolleyes: I had to sit him down for taunting a teammate. Even the coach's kid is not great at listening or paying attention.

The other 2nd grader is the kid of the parents at the Sox game and so wasn't there. I think my two were on base every at bat, but most of the other kids had at best one hit in 6 innings. It was painful, it was annoying, and the kids probably think I'm the wicked witch.

The coach's wife was quite grateful, though. :rolleyes1

Anyway... Now I'm relaxing. Kids went right to bed. Nothing but house stuff for me tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Oh well;)

ANdso she should be ::yes::

Good Morning. A little tough getting up for work today, but we made it and all is well:thumbsup2 Tonight is the Shawmont Fundraiser at Rita's Water Ice, so that will be fun and it is over at 7pm which means Jimmy will still get bath/bed at regular time.

Angela - Is Mitch home? Give him a big hug from us:hug:

CE - Now you know why when I go to Jimmy's games I just stand off to the side and watch. Jim has more patience than me;)

Great news Janet! :thumbsup2:hug:

Mitch got on the airplane. :banana:
Yay! How long will he be home? :cheer2:

It was painful, it was annoying, and the kids probably think I'm the wicked witch.
LOL! You're a braver woman than I CE - no one would want me coaching small children! :rolleyes:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning all! :wave: Quiet week around here. As of today, Leo has one week of school left... which he claims is the "longest week EVER!" :rolleyes:
I'm counting the days till WDW and doing some serious Fuzzy Math. :teacher:
That's about it. TTYL!
By that age they should be able to pay attention longer that that, shouldn't they? :confused3
It was painful, it was annoying, and the kids probably think I'm the wicked witch.
Maybe you won't be asked anymore. Which may not be a bad thing. ;)
Other People's Kids. ;)
CE - Now you know why when I go to Jimmy's games I just stand off to the side and watch. Jim has more patience than me;)
I've been able to do that the last two years, but these guys need more help. :confused3
LOL! You're a braver woman than I CE - no one would want me coaching small children! :rolleyes:
I think I'm channeling my mom these days - she was a first grade teacher for 30+ years, and while she was "grammy" nice and all that, she brooked no nonsense. Ahem. :rotfl:
By that age they should be able to pay attention longer that that, shouldn't they? :confused3
All but my kids last night were first graders. But, my kids weren't like that last year, so... :confused: I do give them that it's hard after a school day and at a time when many of them would be in bed a half hour before the game ends on a normal school night. But, the not trying and the taunting has nothing to do with tired, it's general attitude. :mad: Getting bored, I can get. Being mean, not so much.
Maybe you won't be asked anymore. Which may not be a bad thing. ;)
No, sadly, the parents are happy that I'm strict. :rotfl:
How cute is my nephew? :goodvibes
Extremely! :lovestruc
****************************************************
Ugh, not getting much done today yet, but going to run out and get Swiffer refills and tape, then stop at the PO and mail a box to Janet... ;)
I've done some small tasks, but need to get on the big stuff - floors and the bathroom and the dining room (which we need to use with 6 people here.)
BBL! :grouphug:
Physio went well Jess has something called patellasomethingorother :rotfl2: . We then stopped at the mattress shop on the way home and I got them a memory foam mattress each and now I have no money left :rotfl2:
I had something like that as a kid. Mine was congenital though. I totally understand the house thing. I have a friend who is a really nice person but her housekeeping? I went there once and there was a glob of some kind of clear greasy something. It was either mayo or butter. It was scary. Tell Ellie to take some asperin or something. From what I remember with my kids their mouths were a little sore for a day or 2 when they got their braces on.
Well, she just called. She'd already checked with our insurance, who said to get an estimate. She did, and the guys were very honest and said it just needing buffing, so I'm writing her a $100 check for that (their estimate) and that's it. She'll call the company back and say they're not filling the claim.
So, it's fine. I mean, who wants to spend an extra $100, but he did do it, so... And from now on, I'LL be the one holding the leash... :rolleyes:
Pshew. :rotfl:
I'm glad it worked out for you. I dinged a car several years ago, minimal damage and I got taken. It cost me over $1200 because she claimed the whole front side of her car was damaged. It was there was rust on the fender but because I wanted to avoid my insurance I paid it.
I got a clean bill of health from the eye doctor and I don't have to go back unless there is flare-up. I told him the only time I wanted to see him was in a bar:lmao:
Glad you had good news on the eyes and the mammo. I'd help out with Rita's but I don't think the one near me would help. :lmao:
OK what is going on with the Phillies and the Flyers. I do root for the Phillies just not against the Cards. The Flyers are killing me.
Mitch got on the airplane. :banana:
Janet, I love that you love sports too. :thumbsup2 You just like the wrong teams. :rolleyes1 :rotfl: :hug:
I totally understand this. Sometimes I wonder if the kids really care if they are on a team or not. It was nice of you to help out though.
+++++++++++++++
Morning all. Not much going on here. I have my backyard being dug up. We have tried everything over the past few years and the weeds are killing us. Jim hired the kid that did our house to tear up the yaerd and plant some weird grass he bought. It's called zoysia and is supposed to be low maintenance and chokes out the weeds. I hope it works.
My grandson has his first baseball game tonight since his injury. He is so excited to be playing again.
I almost had tickets to the Flyers game tonight or Friday. My "SIL" could only get 2 tickets for tonights game. He is going and taking his aunt. They both never watch hockey and have no idea about the game. He's going because it's a once in a lifetime experience. Not really. I am a little hurt that he didn't ask me to go. He knows I love hockey. I watch his kids for free all the time but he won't take me. He truly isn't my favorite person sometimes. Oh well I'll have a better view at home and much cheaper snacks. :lmao:
Have a good day.
I'm glad it worked out for you. I dinged a car several years ago, minimal damage and I got taken.
::yes:: That's what we were concerned about. The car was not new, and as I said, there was other damage to the doors. Thankfully she was nice.
On the way - looks like about Monday. :thumbsup2
Things are looking better! Time for lunch! :rotfl2:
Hi Fockers, as most of you know I am back from Italy.
It was a fantastic trip, exceeded all expectations. I am truly lucky!
I will do a report here on TFW, just need time to sort the pics etc.
Jet lag is kicking my butt, I am trying to stay up a later each night. I am getting up so early still.
I hope all is well with my Fockers!
Ugh, were you able to take a day or two before you had to go back to work?
So, it's fine. I mean, who wants to spend an extra $100, but he did do it, so... And from now on, I'LL be the one holding the leash... :rolleyes:
My day started well with a phone call saying I'd won £50 (about $75) :yay: We then played golf and Ellie got to play too which was good, I then sweet talked my way into a free round of golf at a different course next week (we have a competition there the following week and they wanted £25 to play (they normally charge over £100 :faint: ) and I got them to speak to the lady captain who said we could :thumbsup2) Then I had an email saying I'd won a set of solar garden lights and garden fairy lights whatever they may be :rotfl2: and they're worth £70 so good day :thumbsup2
Tomorrow is the big brace fitting day, I also need to book her in at the Dr as she has these strange brown marks on her knuckles :confused3
Where's Rosie????
Good Morning Fockers!
T said a crazy person beat up one of her census people.
That does it, I’m never doing the census thing. Have you gotten your DL fix yet?
MEL went to a rabbit show.
How was it?
TAZ wants me to get a scooter for Doug so they can race. They are replanting the yard with grass that grows grass instead of weeds.
I need to PM you on Enchanted about the scooters. Good luck with the new grass.
CE had a block party for a neighbor’s birthday to attend . She’s been feeling guilty for wanting to boat instead of hang out for BBQs. The boating wasn’t ideal do to wind. Take 2 boat ride was better.
Hey, you got the boat for a reason. Enjoy it. They’ll be plenty of BBQs this summer. I’m glad you didn’t get hosed for the doggie incident.
JANET had a low key low maintenance weekend last weekend. Her eyes and ****s are doing well.
I wish I could get a full 3 nights off without anything to do. I’m glad you are doing OK with the doctors.
ROSIE sings while she whips. The kids went to Six Flags and had a ball.
You crack me up!
JO said it rained over the weekend, no BBQs for them. Ellie joined the golf club. Boo shared a bird that she caught with the family. Jess has patella issues. Jo has won all kinds of goodies.
Congrats on all the great gifts. You know, you can re-gift some of those things! Are there other kids Ells age at the club?
V says Leo started feeling better with all the helpful suggestions.
I hope he is still doing well.
ANGELA doesn’t like working out. Mitch was home on Tuesday. Her sis was having some contractions. Pic on #1348.
Lovely picture. I don’t like working out either. I hope all goes well for your sister.
JV says Tink graduated from Pre-K. She has been playing super-mom since her hubby is away most of the week.
Hi there! Congrats to Tink. Kudos for being a super-mom.
TE is fighting her allergies. She said the cruise was very nice for her and hubby. They got to take the time to know each other again.
It sounds wonderful. It sounds like you needed this trip.
MO is back from Italy. She will post some pics here.
YAY! I hope you had a great time!
Hi to everyone else!!!
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
I worked all weekend, so nothing exciting happened around here.
Doug did fine last weekend. I guess the anti-nausia stuff worked. He was hungry the whole time. I am thankful for that. His next treatment will be on the 22nd of this month. His mom will be taking him as it is a middle workday for me. I don’t get paid to be off. It’s excused due to FMLA but that’s it. I told him I can’t afford to take off all 3 days. He needs to pay attention to my schedule if he wants me to go with him.
I cleaned the house yesterday morning because, well, it needed it but also the pastor from his mom’s church wanted to come out to talk with Doug. He was supposed to arrive at 2PM. I thought that would be OK. I had some stuff to do but it could wait. He called at 2:15 and said it would be 3. Plus he needed directions. (It would have been easier for me to take Doug to him.) So I was a bad wife and bailed on him. I had too much to get done. I hate waiting around. I’m not good with this kind of stuff anyways. This pastor is a stranger to us since we don’t attend church and the church has had 3 different pastors in the last 10 years. Guess what? No, he did show up but they sat out front the whole time. Never even went in the house. LOL
I work tonight and half of tomorrow night. This weekend I we are going to Ohio to watch Rockie’s oldest graduate from high school. We are leaving early on Saturday and we’ll be back on Sunday afternoon. Looks like rain here for Saturday. I hope Ohio is dry.
Have a good one!!
O.M.G. GORGEOUS! As is this shot - did you take it?
No, it was professionally done.
I almost had tickets to the Flyers game tonight or Friday.
Too bad that didn't work out. NHL is the only professional game I haven't been to.
It was a fantastic trip, exceeded all expectations. I am truly lucky!
Since you're getting up so early, you may enjoy writing to pass the time. ;) Glad it was such a wonderful trip. :goodvibes
My day started well with a phone call saying I'd won £50 (about $75) :yay: We then played golf and Ellie got to play too which was good, I then sweet talked my way into a free round of golf at a different course next week (we have a competition there the following week and they wanted £25 to play (they normally charge over £100 :faint: ) and I got them to speak to the lady captain who said we could :thumbsup2) Then I had an email saying I'd won a set of solar garden lights and garden fairy lights whatever they may be :rotfl2: and they're worth £70 so good day :thumbsup2
Jo's figured out how to make money from home. :woohoo: We're just jealous. :rotfl:
Doug did fine last weekend.
Yea! :banana:
No, he did show up but they sat out front the whole time. Never even went in the house. LOL
Figures. :rotfl2:
The doctor took my sister off work yesterday and when the doctor asked if my sister needed a note for work, she said, no, for my husband and toddler. ;) I love my BIL, but he does not like to parent without my sister or his mother.
Mitch wanted to grill something, so they are coming for dinner and maybe swimming. My parents and grandmother come tomorrow. We'll see just how tough my new medicine is. :rolleyes1
