Still waiting!!!! Or email me :thumbsup2

Was talking to Jimmy's music teacher last night and she told me that next year she makes all the 2nd graders try out for the Primary chorus (2nd and 3rd grade) I asked her if she realizes that Jimmy can't carry a tune in a bucket:lmao:
You nice Mommy you :rotfl:

Jimmy has been dropped to every other week for OT, so that was cancelled today which is good, I can get things done here. Tonight is library but thats about it.
Fantastic :thumbsup2

Yani & I decided to upgrade our passes from December to Seasonal Passes so there will be more Disney trips this year for us!!:banana:
Yay and where were the cup cakes?

A classroom at a time isn't so bad, and so... :thumbsup2
Glad it's not too bad :thumbsup2

I had another match today, I know I shouldn't with my foot but couldn't let the team down. Well I lost :sad2: Only on the 17th and the other lady played very well, for the last 8 holes she was level par :faint: but 3 of the rest of my team won so we won 3 - 2 :yay: And we're through to the 4th round, there are normally 10 or 11 so still a way to go but if we get to the semi finals (I think) we go to Spain to play :yay:

Oh and Boo has a friend, I found her in her favourite place (the tree) with the big ginger cat, he was kind of batting her with his paw, so not too friendly :confused3 Anyway they both got down and she chased him round the garden rather than the other way round :rotfl2:

Boston is a very small big city - do you know where the hotel is? Anyway, much of the main sites are totally walkable from each other, unlike NYC or Chicago, and the T is generally useful. ;) Have fun! Even if I can't see you, I can try to give you some tips!

It's the Sheraton Boston on Dalton St. We are def going to head to the Quincey Market and are planning on trying out The Barking Crab for lunch as soon as we get in, it's near the bus station. We really only have Thurs for sightseeing because there are events before during and after the convention apparently. A friend is going with her boyfriend too so I may end up stealing her to do some shopping or something one of the days. I may just go out alone if I get bored at the con too. :) Any tips would be great.

KC got offered the job!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

It was originally for an overnight position but they offered him a daytime spot. That means they really liked him! So he has basically accepted and is waiting for the official word on salary and then he has a few odds and ends to do (drug test, background check) before he could even start so he's going to give 3 weeks to his current job and do those things on his downtime so he won't loose any weeks of pay transitioning! I am so excited for him!

Now if someone would call me back we'd be set, and able to go to Florida in June LOL!

So Andy is coming over tonight after work so we can plan and then we are leaving at about 6am to get to the city to catch the megabus($39 round trip!). Now if i can finish packing. LOL.

Have a great weekend all, if i'm bored you may see me mobile on the phone, but I'll be updating my twitter/facebook along the way too.

Sometimes the other players are just good. Hope your foot gets better.

Well, if you're at Quincey (pronounced Kwinzee, btw ) Market, it's a very easy walk to the Commons and the Public Gardens. And just south of the public gardens is Newbury St., which has the posh shops and art galleries and such. (And it looks like it's near your hotel.) :thumbsup2 Also a short walk in the other direction from the market is the North End, with the Old North Church, Paul Revere's House, and LOTS of really good Italian restaurants, one after the other. Have fun! :goodvibes

Oh, and I just looked and I see that you're connect to the Pru and Copley Place, which is fun shopping! You can also catch a Duck Tour from there. ;) And yeah, you'd be closer to Newbury St. than the Market, but there are plenty of T lines through there. :thumbsup2

]KC got offered the job!!!!

That's fantastic! :cool1:

D's maybe going to go play another tennis class. The neighbor's kid hasn't appeared yet. I had a very quiet afternoon.

Hey guys!

Back from the World...well back since Sunday, but now is when I'm getting around to being online. The trip was great, but the parks were soooo crowded that we ended up not doing much but shopping and eating. OMG they have the best cupcakes at MK too. :thumbsup2

Awesome! :cool1:

Last fall, I copied all the sheets 400 or so times, but this time I copied everything for one classroom, then the next, etc., which was a ton easier on the copier and it'll be easier to staple and sort.
Doesn't the copy machine staple for you?

And we're through to the 4th round, there are normally 10 or 11 so still a way to go but if we get to the semi finals (I think) we go to Spain to play :yay:

I'm watching tv, listening to the radio, on the computer, doing laundry. No wonder people have a problem just sitting. ;)

My mom wants to go to tea at the Ritz for my birthday and I have decided that will be acceptable. :rolleyes1 I saw the most awesome hat at Macy's yesterday that I didn't buy and the Macy's I did go to today, didn't have it, so I may go back and get it tomorrow. It's bright yellow with a big poof is all the comes to mind, but it's not floral or animal, on the front. Makes total sense, so I'll post a pic if I get it.

Doesn't the copy machine staple for you?

Well, here are the problems with that (because a lot of people ask that question.;)):
1. PATT stuff is supposed to be printed on purple paper. It's just a code thing - you know if you see purple, it's from the PATT. However, I had one sheet that is for a coloring contest that had to be on white, so I couldn't even copy all the full sheets at once. I might have just done it all on white :rolleyes1, but when I got to the paper cabinet, we had only one full package of white paper. (Which reminds me, I have to tell someone that I took pretty much the last of it.)
2. Two of the pieces (in order to be at least a little environmentally conscious, and also probably for money saving) are half sheets or less, so that I only have to make 10 copies for a 20 kid room, etc. But, you can't staple those via the copier, 'cause you have to slice them on the paper cutter (fun! :lovestruc) first.
3. It all has to be stapled to a ridiculously oversized flyer that comes from Scholastic, that doesn't go through the copier.

So, it's a pain, but... :confused3 What can you do?

Evening all. QUiet night here. Jim and Jimmy went to the library after Jim picked him up so they got home a bit later than usual. The children's librarian was doing crafts with the kids, so he did that before he picked out any movies or books.

Cam home, homework was all done:thumbsup2 we had dinner and then he watched a Pokemon Movie until about 8:00. Bath, Stories and in bed:thumbsup2

I'm not going to be to far behind him. Ive been tired the last week or so. Don't know if it's the time change or what:confused3

Have a good evening all:goodvibes

Morning all! I've been busy! I'm trying to preparations for Auntie Heather's epic Easter Egg hunt, etc. ready this weekend.

Hi, Heather! Sounds like fun. :goodvibes

*****************************************************
I need to get moving for fun tennis. Then, I'm meeting D at Home Depot to do some shopping. D's decided that he wants to start the downstairs bathroom renovation (we got both tax refunds and his bonus - feeling flush... :rotfl:)

I don't know whether to  or :scared1: about this, though. He did a great job on the upstairs bathroom back in 2003ish :thumbsup2 - but it took him 9 months to really finish.

I'm hopeful that without toddlers and with the experience - and a little less work to do - he can bust this out faster. We only have the two full baths (no master, no powder room) and so with all four of us using the bathroom now - the boys were 1 the last time - we can't go long without 2 bathrooms.

Thankfully, we're not redoing the floor. It's already tile, and the former owners left plenty in the basement to fix whatever needs fixing when we switch vanities. The upstairs had been linoleum before, so he ripped everything up. I'm hopeful, then, that we can leave the toilet working the whole time, since we're not taking up the flooring. :thumbsup2

I'm happy about the idea, though, because it's got the mustard yellow tub and a cracked and dated faux marble vanity top. The tile floor helps, but it's a very 70's bathroom. :rotfl:

Ack! Late! Gotta run. Have a great morning! :grouphug:

Hi Heather :wave2: Egg Hunt sounds fun!:thumbsup2

CE - Can D come down and redo our bathroom and powder room when he is done:confused3;)

+++++++++++++++

Good morning:goodvibes At work, it's a beautiful day out though! Not much on the agenda for the day here. Work, home, dinner, etc. Just normal stuff:thumbsup2

Busy weekend. TOmorrow night is the PAck Meeting for Scouts, so theboys are performing their song and they get some more beads, etc. SAturday is baseball signups and then a Fossil/Mineral Show for scouts. SUnday will have to be laundry and cleaning, getting everything ready for Easter next week.

I hope you all have a good day:hug:

Morning all. It's a really nice day out but there is rain coming. I can feel it in my head. I get a headache when we have a big storm getting ready to move through. I will enjoy the day though. Doing laundry while I watch the kids. That is how I get paid. I do my laundry at my daughters so I don't have the water bill. I get my granddaughters "report card" this afternoon. She is in kindergarten so I am not expecting much.
I'm going to Lancaster on Saturday with my parents. Should be fun it's planting season so the smell of manure will be heavy in the air. My mom actually likes that smell. :scared1: I get free food out of the trip and they drive so I don't pay for gas so if smelling manure is the price i pay I can live with it.

I got Mickey Mail yesterday. :woohoo: My ME mail arrived. It really makes the trip seem closer. I leave 5 weeks from tomorrow. I am really looking forward to this trip. It has been a long winter and I'm really can't wait to see the Flower and Garden show. Oh well the kids are fighting so I have to run. Have a nice day.

I had my X-ray this morning and only had to wait 15 minutes to be seen :thumbsup2 I don't get the results for about 2 weeks though but it doesn't hurt that much any more :rotfl2: I then stopped by the supermarket and they were selling Cadbury caramel easter eggs cheap so.................. I had to buy one and eat it :faint: :rotfl2: But.................. it was a hollow cadbury egg with 2 caramel eggs inside (you know like the creme ones but caramel inside) and 1 caramel egg costs 48p and the whole egg with 2 caramel ones was 95p so fuzzy math makes it way cheaper so I had to buy it, right? :rotfl2:

Woot, woot!!! :cool1:

How exciting APs again !!!!!!Good for you Z:yay::banana:

Oh, cool!:thumbsup2

Yes!! We had the Florida Resident 3 day play pass from our trip in December and it was only $95 to upgrade to the seasonal AP and basically that's what a 1 day ticket costs nowadays and we'd planned to hit up food & wine so just decided to upgrade. Fuzzy Disney math at work! :teacher:

Where are the cupcakes. MS Bakery????

Yay and where were the cup cakes?

They had them at MS Bakery and at MGM and I'm sure they have them @ Goofy's. Beware though there's A LOT of frosting, but they look very pretty and taste yummy. :)

Did you get Boo fixed? Be careful she doesn't end up pregnant from the new "friend"

What are you supposed to do if it is broken? Having to wait two weeks seems like a long time.

I didn't make it to Macy's as I decided I really needed to clean the house. Hopefully tomorrow I can make it out there.:thumbsup2

I don't see why not. You know I like to get rid of him periodically. :rotfl:

Wow, yep.

I get a headache when we have a big storm getting ready to move through.

Me, too.

I got Mickey Mail yesterday.

Woohooty!

Wow that does sound complicated :rotfl2:

Yes, it's nutty, but it all looks nice in the end. :lmao:

Hope he does it quicker than that and what are you choosing?

Vanity, tile for the tub surround, faucets (and, well, a tub, but we're getting plain white basic, so there's not a lot of picking there...). We didn't buy anything, but have ideas now. He came home and took out the drop ceiling. The jerks who built this house put a PVC drain pipe across the whole ceiling, so we'll have to do that again, but it needs to be redone. We are trying not to do the floor over - the lady tiled it to try to sell the house - but D is thinking he may wind up having to do it anyway. He wants to demo the vanity/tub and see where we stand before he decides.

+++++++++++++++

Hey all I tired to check in at lunch time, but I got a meassage that the boards were down for upgrading:headache: Then, of course I didn't have time the rest of the day.

Remembers that I have a training scheduled for tomorrow, so I have to be in work at 8:00am:headache: On the plus side that means I will actually get in a t 7:30, and get to leave at 3:30:thumbsup2

Tomorrow is Jimmy's pack meeting, so Jim and I just spent the last hour going over who is supposed to geet what badges and beads tomorrow night so we could send it to the pack leader.

I did a DVC webcast tonight, they are offering such a great deal if you bought through that. A free crusie 3 - 7 days based on how many points you bought, I really wish we could do it, but right now we can't:sad2:

I also played around and did some real good Fuzzy Math andfor a mere $80 more we are extending our trip to Williamsburg one day (leaving Sunday instead of Monday) and we are also going to go to Jamestown:cheer2: SO tomorrow after the training I will go back to the office and call to make that change. And I thought this would be nothing like a Disney trip:rolleyes1:lmao:

Hope you are all having a good night!:goodvibes

I'm so sorry Rosie, was she very old?

Jo Vicki was probably in her late 50's !!! I deduced that from where she had worked and for how long , she was a Pediatrician's nurse for 20 years and a surgical nurse for at least 10!!
Plus our nurse for about 12!!

So Boo has a friend or maybe a Foe !!!:rotfl2:

I have crazy hours till Monday night and then more normal till Friday !!! Then hopefully I am back to a slower pace !! Somehow I don't think it will happen till July though as I know 2 of the houses are gonna need me regularly till then !!!

Work has been a busy place 2 Case Reviews this week and @ Mandatory Trainings !! Yesterday was Alcohol/ Drugs in the Workplace and as usual I cut up and had everyone in stitches !! The presenter was role playing and begging me NOT to turn him infor Drug/alcoho,use !!! He went down on his knees to plead and I said " Sorry I am all ready married " ( yea I know I'm not ) My boss just howled as did the BIG BIG Boss !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Tomorrow we have SCIP !! Which is learning moves to protect your self from attacks basically !! Like if someone is gonna hit me I am gonna think "And what is the correct move for this !!" Heck I'm gonna do what it takes !!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:It really is seldom a problem where I have worked at least not for me !! I have some pretty convincing body language !!!!:rotfl2:You know thelook that KILLS!!!! It's pretty effective !!!:worship::rotfl2:

Well have an early morning so need some beauty sleep no comments on that taking 24 hours !!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Rosie - :lmao: at the training
+++++++++++++++++++++

Good moning all. Got up early, got Jimmy up early so that I could get everything ready and then take off early for the training. Stopped at the 7-11 for my caffiene fix, got to the training, sat around for about 20 minutes chatting with some of my co-workers when the HR boss comes in to tell us the training is cancelled...trainer is sick:headache:

I need to call the peditrician as soon as they open. Jimmy said this morning that his mouth and neck hurt. What he means his throat hurts and when he says that it is usually strep:sad2: So, I will probably be leaving work early to take him there.

Of course this is our busiest weekend in a while right:sad2: Cub SCout Pack Meeting tonight. Baseball sign ups and Fossil Fair/Dig tomorrow. Why can't life ever got the way we plan it:confused3.

Not much to do at work today, I think I have everything caught up:yay: so I will probably check in later. Hope you all have a Fabulous Friday:hug:
