I just got back yesterday and I'm looking for AppleMomma (I'm pretty sure thats the screen name). I saw you at Epcot Monday the 17th, at the character connection. You had your Focker Watch lanyard, green Overland donner bag and a LGMH on it! :woohoo:

Just wanted to say HI, maybe you are still there??!! I wish I was!!! :dance3:
That's really great, not sure if applemomma posts here though :confused3

Jo - the girls are so cute. I like the "gold pie in the face" look instead of the white scratchy one....:rotfl2:

I am so freakin' busy lately. I hardly have time to DIS and that is just about the most horrible thing EVAH! I have something planned every day, except Thursday for the next couple of weeks. Ugh!
Glad you like my photo skills DM ;) :rotfl2: And no no no you can't dissappear on us we'll all miss you :sad1:

Hello! Jump in and chat anytime!

Nothing?? My life is nothing??:sad1: ;)

(Got a good laugh out of the pictures! I'm sure DM will be calling on you when she needs an assistant! )

I hate that too as I will miss you!
I gotta take BA today to get her allergy testing done. She has been off all meds since Friday and has sneezed all weekend. I feel sorry for her.

AE is having some trouble at school--she and her friends are being harassed by a group of mean Gothic girls (one of them attacked her BF on Thursday at lunch). It really has me worried and I'm not sure what to do--the mean girls say they hate the way my girls dress (they wear Aero, Hollister--teenage stuff). Her BFs dad (who is a colleague of my DH) is going to talk to the principal and resource officer today. She has school play practice after school and I worry about her being by herself.
Anyone have any experience with this stuff??
TE your life is anything but nothing, you give me so many laughs everyday  No advice about horrid kids I'm afraid but hope it all turns out OK and the principal does something!!!!

Jo told me about this thread and I thought I would come over and say hello...soo hello!:goodvibes

I love the pics that both Jo and TE posted.
Hey Dismom! I'm going to check out your TR!

This makes me mad! I would talk to the Principal.

Ok--so still working on my PRE/PRE trip! (well, the kids DID tell my inlaws that we were going in Feb, and my DH did not disagree!)

So, anyway, I have the room only booked at CBR but I am still wishy-washy as the pool will be closed.
MIL said she loved SSR but would probably not pay that much to stay again as she is rarely in the room. She recommended ASMu cause she said the busses are great.

So---I want some opinions!
What is your favorite resort?
Which one would you stay at next trip??

I took this quiz: http://hotels.about.com/cs/disneyworld/l/blwiz_wdw01.htm

which is "which Disney hotel is right for you?"

I'll tell you later what it said!

TE Can't wait for your Pre TR :yay:

I would really like to stay at BC but way too expensive, next would be WL but still too much $ then comes AKL but not doing free DDP so makes it too $ so we're probably going to POR as we really liked it in 2005, like having the quiet pools which we often got to ourselves, the food court was better than the CSR one but the buses were far less crowded at CSR  The only reason I haven't stayed at CBR is the reports on how big it is :confused3

My quiz came up CBR, POR, POFQ, CSR, YC!!!!!

My hotel pick was CBR at a score of 43 and then both PO resorts at a score of 30. We ar ebooked at POR, so it works for us quite well. I like the CBR ok, just don't really care for how it is laid out. We love POR and CSR.:goodvibes

Well my relaxing weekend in the country has come to a close and it truly was relaxing and a nice place to hang with friends and do whatever the spirit moved us to do :grouphug:

So now we are in massive Disney mode...trip in just 11 days! and tweaking the plans and making some changes based on the various meets we are doing to see folks from DIS, TGM, Intercot and RADP. :cool1:

So can't wait for the trip. :dance3: Oh GOOD MORNING to all :)

We're at 11 days, too! Are you going to the MNSSHP meet on Oct. 5th? We'll be at the Haunted Mansion at 7pm. We are going to take a group picture and then ride the HM together! :yay:

Good morning!

Six weeks for us.... we're not in "massive" Disney mode yet, just "itty-bitty" things-to-do mode!

Hey, everyone! I'm back from Mexico, and have been trying to catch up on my subbed threads... :)

Jo, good job on the golf win, even if there was no prize, and the pictures of the girls in concert were great! :thumbsup2 Have your knickers shown up yet? :lmao:

TE, so sorry about BA feeling sick and the allergies, glad VT won, and SO, SO sorry about the school thing. Scary.

DM, sorry you're so busy... We'll miss seeing you around!

T, thanks for the picture of Jo! :rotfl:

Everyone else, Hi! :grouphug:

I'll do a mini-TR for the Cabo trip, but probably not until tomorrow evening. My mom's still in town until tomorrow afternoon (a good thing, I like her - but I probably shouldn't ignore her all night as I've done this morning!:confused3 ) D. has a trip tomorrow, as well, so I should be able to put the boys in bed and be alone to DIS by tomorrow night!

I have to leave for kindergarten pickup in about 10 minutes, so I'll see all y'all (a little "southern" for some of you, notice my correct use for the plural...:goodvibes ) later!

TE, I'll look for a Halloween avatar later, too, don't kick me out yet. ;)

I am not disappearing. Just busy. I'll be on and off today but big hunks of my days are taken away starting tomorrow. Of course I'll be DISing, just not as much. Plus, no late night DISing as I have all my shows to watch. No taping for me! Prison Break tonight!!!

So---I want some opinions!
What is your favorite resort?
Which one would you stay at next trip??
My favorite resort and the resort I can afford right now are very different. My favorite is the Yacht Club. I will probably always love that one best...you know, like the scarecrow and Dorothy? Oh whatEVER.

Hey, everyone! I'm back from Mexico, and have been trying to catch up on my subbed threads... :)
Welcome back. Pictures please! Not that I have time to look at them...;)

Seriously, Mondays is my mom's day off from work and we try to get together to do some shopping usually (not today tho). Monday right after school Evan has to go to religious education. Tuesday Brookie has dance class. Wednesdays are one of Rob's days off and we try to arrange things together that day. Plus Brookie goes to preschool, so dropping off/picking up. Thursdays are free days! Fridays Brookie goes to preschool again.

We have a big family party on Saturday, church on Sunday. Plus the next couple of weekends are totally booked.

All those and trying to get things done around here and groceries, etc. Aaaaahhhhh!!!! Plus the hooking...;)

My brother is getting married on Oct 13 and I can't wait. I made his fiance one of those "bag scrapbooks". I did a pretty good job if I do say so myself!

Okay so here is my 2 cents, since you asked: (ps I think this is my first post on this thread) Anyway:

I just got back from 5 days at CBR and while the resort was beautiful and we rarely had to wait for any of the busses, I don't think I would stay here again. I went with my mom and she was never able to find the room by herself, a couple of times I had to go out looking for her :lmao: :lmao:. The resort is HUGE, and it just wasn't what we were expecting or looking forward too. And, my mom got bit by some bugs that she thinks came from the resort (this is just her opinion though). The smaller pools are very nice, as was the big pool. This was only the second onsite hotel that we had stayed at (the first was Pop Century) and there were a few nice ammenities to the room, the refridgerator, and the privacy curtain were nice, but all in all, I wish we would have stayed at PO/either Riverside or French Quarter.

Hope this helps, and good luck. I wisih I was planning my next trip which would be at my dream resort: Wilderness Lodge (or Animal Kingdom Resort it is hard to pick just one)

I sent this to DH who is a middle school teacher and he said that your friend is doing the right thing and you and DH should also talk to them. This way it is not a he said/she said thing. All schools are supposed to have an anti-bully regulation. If the school does nothing then you need to get to the school district administration ASAP. Hope it all works out:grouphug:

That's really great, not sure if applemomma posts here though :confused3

I;ve never seen/heard this name before withier Jo:confused3
