We are so busy tomorrow, the girls are in a concert and have rehearsals in the morning we then have to go to Jess's school (I'm being a single parent for the day as David has to work ) for a welcome barbecue with games (Rosie I expect we'll play rounders ) then we have about 30 minutes before the concert starts, oh and my Sister is coming round to stay so I'd better make some kind of effort to clean the house

Well, I am back from the gym and eye doctor--I have tried on 5 different pairs of contacts over the past 6 weeks in an attempt to get the new Healthy "silicone" ones--but none fit so we are just ordering my old ones.
Apparently my body dislikes silicone.........

Off to the vet this afternoon.

JCC beat me to it, but I was going to say, I guess you aren't getting those implants your DH just priced for you.

I was wondering who would catch that implication! (Jo's just a little slow on the uptake---but of course, anyone who is 34EEEEE has no need for implant knowledge! )

Hope you have a good time! I am very excited about visiting Virginia Tech--they have built a nice memorial for the 4/16 shooting victims that I want to see.
We are playing William and Mary College so predicting a good win (ranked 17th in the country now FWI! )

Netball:

Strange that it started in the US but our girls don't play this--they just learn regular basketball. My girls would probably like this better--they can't dribble and run at the same time.
BA is doing lacrosse this week in PE and she finds that very strange--they also do a lot of cup stacking!

Jo $5000, hopefully they will come down. When I started looking at Wyoming trip ABD quoted me $1200, I decided to wait and see. On my own I got each for $400 something.

Is V joining for August now?

My dates are in my siggie.

What's this about TE getting implants, won't that make you top heavy? Don't want you tipping over.

Oh, and I leave for the happy place in 13 days (MacAddict we are there the same time, I am POFQ, which Tracy has me freaked out about now )

The more ya all talk about when you will be there the more I realize we will just miss each other. We will be there for a room only ressie on Aug 29 but won't be in till at least 6p.m. Then we will have free DDP from Aug 30 till Sept 06 but have to leave on the 6th by noon at the latest and I should be sober for the drive. Is anyone going the same time as me or do I just party by myself?

Was V in FQ or POR?? Cause the mold and asthma thing scared me as I have that problem too. I'm still holding onto my reservation to CBR--gotta pay $134 by 9/27 so I got more time to keep convincing the crew!
But the pool looks super cool at POR and the CBR will be closed in Feb but it's cold then anyway and I like the beach theme........Ug--- I hate being confused!

At 5 feet tall, that would probably happen!!
I'm sceered of any surgery and of using money for anything other than Disney or animal care so that's unlikely to happen!

I'm planning on being there Aug 30- Spet 3, staying at VAK (hopefully concierge). We usually stay the whole week, but DS will be in 2nd grade and I don't want him to miss an entire week of school again. This way, he will only miss 2 days. I think the school system is going to catch on. He misses the same week every year. For pre-k the note said we had to go out of town to attend to family business, for K the note said he was sick all week, this year it said we went out of town for family matters. Next year he will be sick again.

Jeez people..I miss one day of DISing and it's like a novel left for em to read! I'm all caught up tho...DH is happily playing his video games, these are the times I get no weird looks for DISing. I am super hyped about our trip in jan, I just found out that my long lost best friend will be spending 3 days with us with her 8 year old daughter! I already act like a mommy with her 4 other kids (even tho they are adults coming with us) so now at least I get to have fun with an actual kid!

SO is there serious talk about a trip in August? I am gonna want an excuse to go down and visit my friend again...and what better one than a trip to Disney!

One more question...what do you guys use to laminate the LGMHs?? I tried some laminating paper but when i cut it they came apart....

I just used sticky backed plastic, is that what you call laminating paper? Then you need to leave a reasonable border or it will come unstuck!


Yesterday this flew into our gardens.

It was amazing, didn't even know that there were any near where we lived, anyone know exactly what bird it is? Not what you expect to see in the middle of a load of houses in Kent

Looks like August might be coming more of a reality

I actually used clear packing tape to laminate mine. Disn't want to spend the $$ to buy one of those laminating machinces that I would only use once
