You guys are really cracking me up today This is a good thing because I am bored out of mind here at work.

I am sittting here preparing lists of what to ship to my parents before our trip. I want to start picking up a little bit each pay day so that I am not getting everything all at once and all the $$$ goes out at the same time!

Yea it is. I have a herniated disk thats pushing on my sciatic nerve. Its very painful some days and i have numbness down my leg sometimes too. Sometimes its literally a pain in the a%$!

Will it ever get better? Can you have surgery?

Hmmm. I'm 35 until 2/20. Or maybe forever.

So you're 35 too huh and lots of Feb birthdays around here! Haven't any advice about the dog I'm afraid I'm not much of a *gasp* dog person!!!!!

In other bad news, I went to the Glaucoma specialist today. I've had surgery in both of my eyes to essentially "make holes" to relieve the pressure because I was going blind. Well, they close up because naturally the bodies impulse is to "repair" you.

Oooooh Mel that sounds horrid, I had a cyst removed from my eyelid in October and that was bad enough!

You guys are such youngsters! I am going to feel old in August aren't I

I can't even imagine having to go through all of that. If I had girls they'd be dancing with their hair in their eyes!

The daycare provider actually commented on how nice Maddie's hair was, I had to admit Andy was the stylist.

Sorry to bore you all if you didn't want the long version. I told it for two reasons, one: CE asked. And two, if your eye pressure is NOT below 20 when you go to have your eyes examined GET A SECOND OPINION!!! I am now wearing glasses that are TTTTTTTHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSS thick and almost went blind. I never want anyone to suffer this disease.

Glad you're getting it sorted, so is it heireditary (sp?)?

Speaking of Focker Watch! (mini RANT) We were leaving Animal Kingdom in September,,I notice 2 ladies with LGMH`s on their fanny packs or whatever,,,So I get a little "OH COOL! " Well I go to say hi on the way to the busses,,and mention my screename,,and GET THIS!!! THEY COULD CARE LESS!!! Why have LGMHs on your person when you dont care?!!! I think I pouted all the way back to POR!

Most definitelty if you wear them you should say hi back, I would get excited

OK, my vent. All of a sudden I cna't get Jimmy to go to bed at night. He is up until 9:30 - 10:00 and then is so cranky in the am when I try to get him up for school. We have tried the no TV thing after dinner, no TV at all after during school week, nothing seems to working. Any ideas? Jim and I are exhausted with all of this and I hate the fights in the morning. TIA!

Jimmy's about 4 right? At that age (well till only a couple of years ago) my 2 were in bed by 7.30pm we had a routine, bath, story, bed. I can remember though having to sit by their beds a few nights as I would not let them come downstairs, sorry no advice that's just what I did!

I thought the 45 minutes was long too, but in his old school they tried to make him lay there for 2 hours

OMG that is a huge nap I don't think my 2 really ever did 2 hour naps even when they were really little!

Well we have finally had a beautiful sunny day here I played golf, a competition, and did OK, not great but OK, it was very muddy and quite tough going so I'm pleased!

Well I have to see about going back to therapy first, once KC's new insurance kicks in, then see how it goes. There is surgery I can have but avoiding it is what I'd like to do, if i can. who knows. I have decided not to be bothered by this because in one week I will be IN DISNEY! so reality will have to wait till i come back!

It's gonna be a long blah day, just packing today. Kc is going to some comedy video game show thing tonight after work with a bunch of "the guys" so I'm stuck home alone. At least I can get some packing done! Hopefully I'll finish packing even! ONE WEEK!

I can't believe you are a week out already

I have always wanted one and now I'm hooked-it made my day so much easier yesterday I got so much done because I didn't have to stop to cook!

The insurance starts after his 90 days at the job so while we are in Disney to be exact! LOL. So once we come back I can hit the dr's again.

I am sooooo excited!

So if I ship my box to All Star Music on Thursday i should be fine right???

Hi All! Well I slept in today to recover from my long weekend at Disney.

Although it was very fun it was a pretty unproductive tour of the World. I was just happy to be there though.

Glad your mom is starting to feel better. I know how she feels. When I am home for any length of time I go stir crazy unless I have something to do. When I was on maternity leave I was ready to come back to work, needed grown up interaction, KWIM?

Missed a lot this afternoon!

Hi all!

Playgroup was fun. We had 7 twins (one was "grounded") and an extra sibling, so not too crazy.

D's on his way home. He keeps calling me to find non-rush hour type routes through the wilds of Massachusetts.

It started snowing around 3:30. It's kind of stopped for now, but more is coming across NY towards us, so... I just pray that there's school tomorrow!

It's getting on towards bedtime routine time (early, but I'm not complaining.) So, I'll catch you all after kids are in bed, unless D & I get right down to discussing, computer research, etc.
