Well we got the new tv today. We are having issues though and it is probably just our own stupidity. We have a PS3 which has the built in Blu-Ray player. Well we can get the tv to display the games and regular DVD's but for some reason it is not wanting to display the Blu-Ray movies. Erich is working on it now but it is frustrating! AH! Why can't electronics set-up be simple?

Back from the surgeon with Basful and Dr says its healing much better than expected for 1 month post-op.
As we were leaving I said to Bashful dont you have to say something to the Dr.(thank you was what I was looking for) and he replied" Thank you dr for making my boo-boo go away and happy turkey day too"

Okay...I didn't threaten to throw him off a bridge...but I told him I was someone's momma, and would he want someone talking to his momma the way he talked to me? It was very rewarding.

Just checking in to say I'm ok, just busy! Survived the trip to VA Beach chaperoning 29 middle schoolers!
Then found out Daran had to go to Korea on Monday morning so had to get laundry done, etc for him. (15.5 hour non stop flight from Atlanta to Seoul) We tracked him online just like Santa--he went over Canada, up to North Pole and back down. BA wanted pix of the North Pole but he said he couldn't see anything,

Gotta run and get ready for work---it's COLD here--under 20, missed school for snow on Tuesday.

Just stopped in to say good morning! I'm actually at the office for about an hour or so before Thanksgiving programs start at the kids' school. So, I should get some work done while I can.

If you are still having problems, drop me a PM, and I can try to give you a hand. It may be a cable type issue. You can only send high definition content through certain inputs on the TV using particular cable types. Specifically, you are probably going to want to use an HDMI, DVI, or component (not composite) video cable. Another possible issue could be the TV, but that's not as likely. The TV should be HDCP compliant, or the PS3 may not think its a licensed HD output device.

I'm going to work to meet a new hire for my shift, so hopefully he'll be good.:::crossing fingers::::

After I think I'm going to do some scrapping and some shopping. Then later on tonight gonna go watch Twilight, since my friend wasn't able to get me a ticket for the screening on Tuesday. Why invite, if you can't follow through on something?

Plus trying to plan the December trip and get everyone's dates finalized...which isn't an easy task.

Good Morning, Ladies (and a few Gentlemen!)!

I thought today was going to be better for DD4, as she had not thrown up since 6:45am yesterday, but she had another episode about 30 minutes ago. Right after though, she asked for food??? She was very sure that she wanted to eat something for breakfast! I'm supposed to get my hair cut at 9:30 this morning. I guess I'll wait to see if she holds down what she had for breakfast and see how she's feeling. I may call and see if I can get something later this morning or this afternoon. Give her a bit of time.

Otherwise, all is good here. Not a lot going on. It's cold, but no snow yet. I've seen some flurries, but nothing on the ground. I agree with Rosie, I want snow for Christmas but not before. It's nice to have a few snowstorms in January though, since there's nothing else to look forward to. However, by mid-February, I'm ready for spring.

I got a student to work who hasn't done any work in 2 years. That was after he called me some horrid names and I threatened to throw him off a bridge if he ever did it again. Okay...I didn't threaten to throw him off a bridge...but I told him I was someone's momma, and would he want someone talking to his momma the way he talked to me? It was very rewarding.

Mitch feels like he and his sister should have a relationship because his parents have passed away, but after years of trying and no reciprocation, he decided that, for his sanity, he doesn't need her.

OMG, do I know how that goes... since my father passed 10ish years ago, his wife and my half-brother have virtually disappeared. I tried hard to stay in touch, as did other members of my dad's family, but it was totally one-sided. I gave up after too many years of unreturned emails/calls and too many Bdays/Xmases passing by with not so much as a card for Leo.

I like it but it looks a little big.

It's not bad - I'll have to get a pic of me wearing it next week. But they do have some smaller styles like this: Ellie

I just called WDW Dining and they said they don't expect that I can make ADRs for April until the end of December. Not having that done makes me slightly stressed, YKWIM?

I have a luncheon to go to today at church. I'm excited. A whole hour of no kids and yummy food. I'm taking a friend of mine, so that will be nice to chat with her too.

I need help with A's party. He wanted to go to see Bolt with a few friends. So, now I have the time figured out and I need to figure out what to do about cake and stuff. I don't think there's anywhere we can go to do cake. So, should I just bring little baggies of treats instead? I'm not sure what to do. I don't want him to feel ripped off.

Nope. It's free standing with no tables anywhere. There's a fountain outside, but I can just imagine them dropping crumbs in it!

Glad you survived! How long will Daran be away! Will he be home for THanksgiving? When are you coming up to PA again? I want to mark my calander!

Well, the painting is officially done! We put the last coat of black paint on the closet doors last night. Tonight we will move the TV back into postion and clean the floors and windows. Then tomorrow night will be to clean the floors again (no, not crazy all the dust it will take a couple of times I think) and then on Saturday the furniture will be delivered! After that we will hang all the frames, etc and the Living room and dining rooms will be done - FINALLY I will take pics on Saturday to show you all of the work.

Crazy busy at work, but I may be able to check back in later! Have a good day focker friends

The kids have a half day today because of parent teacher conferences. ours should be interesting with Ben. Annies will go fine. its only K, and she doing great, as far as I know.
