Hey! No laughing till you find The Perfect Brown Shoe Jo! ;)
True :rotfl2:

I don't think there's anywhere we can go to do cake. So, should I just bring little baggies of treats instead? I'm not sure what to do. I don't want him to feel ripped off. :confused3
When I've done cinema parties I refuse to pay the prices there so take my own snacks and drinks for the kids (smuggled in :rotfl2: ) re the cake I'd cut it up and put it into bags for them to take home :confused3

Hmmm, I don't know. LEt me talk with her and get back to you.
:thumbsup2

Well, the painting is officially done!:woohoo:
Fantastic :yay:

Hey everyone! :hippie:
Hi :wave2:

Anybody heard from Mel? I e-mailed her last night and havent heard back and she hasnt posted here today.
Nope nor Katt

Jess took Davids sandwich to school today by mistake and it had mustard in so poor little thing had hardly any lunch, she came home absolutely starving and hasn't stopped eating yet :rotfl2:

Morning everyone.

I'm going to work to meet a new hire for my shift, so hopefully he'll be good.:::crossing fingers::::

After I think I'm going to do some scrapping and some shopping. Then later on tonight gonna go watch Twilight, since my friend wasn't able to get me a ticket for the screening on Tuesday. Why invite, if you can't follow through on something? :confused3

Plus trying to plan the December trip and get everyone's dates finalized...which isn't an easy task.

Laters! :hippie:

I would ahve been peeeeeved about missing the screening! Are you as crazily excited about the movie as me? I feel like a teenager!

Mitch said we could go to MVMCP as one of our gifts so we're going tomorrow with some friends! :thumbsup2 I hope he doesn't hate it or he'll never go with me again.

Aww what a swetie Mitch is! Hopefully he will LOVE it!

******************************
Bought my tickets for the 12:25 am screening of Twilight tonight! I'm so excited! KC and I are going to have some Dunkin Donuts brunch and then head to the city for an early dinner I think. Then he's off to a music show and I am meeting up with my friend Diana to vege out at Starbucks and wait till the guys are done and we can head to the theater!

Hope you all have a wonderful day! :goodvibes

Well, I think DD4 is better, but I'm not going to chance it by taking her out anywhere. So, I'm stuck in the house. I just made out my shopping list for Thanksgiving dinner and cleaned the office. Guess there are some benefits to being stuck in the house....

I heard from Katt today, so I know she's okay. Haven't seen or heard from Mel though...

I'm ok guys. Thanks for worrying.

Well, not ok, but I mean I'm alive. ;) ;) Still have the stuffy nose and awful headache. Stomach is terribly queasy. No vomiting (sorrry if TMI) but I haven't had more than toast since yesterday a.m. Do you guys remember how long this goes on for? I am so cold too! I turned the heat up to 72 degrees! That's unheard of here. :rotfl:

Bob left this morning at 11:30 am. He is driving to Toronto, then staying at the airport Hilton. His flight to Tokyo leaves tomorrow at 7am. He couldn't get a direct flight to Tokyo from Detroit! Can you believe that??? It was awful and hard to say goodbye to him. I'm pretty miserable. (weirdly, he found out this morning that he has to go to Korea for 5 of the days! What is Daran doing, TE??? When is he coming back???)

MIL is coming tomorrow after all. She arrives at 1pm. I hope I feel better by then. (maybe that's wishful thinking...) I know that once I have someone here with me I will feel alot better. The panic attacks are staying away, thank goodness. I have enough to deal with right now. Just knowing that I have someone here will help with the panic I hope. The boys should be home soon. I set up rides for them since I knew I'd be feeling bad. (Oh, and I warned SD that he'll be making himself and Gus some spaghettios for dinner! Love having a teenager...)

Thanks for worrying. You make me feel so loved.

MEL

 Mel.

 everyone else!

Busy day...busy day!!!

Love and miss you all!!!

Hi Fockers! :wave2:

Just checking in to see who's checked in. That makes sense, right? :confused3 :lmao:

Busy day here - already did my volunteering at Maddie's school and I'm heading to the ortho in a few mins. :scared:

Tonight my Brownie troop is volunteering at a soup kitchen serving up Thanksgiving dinner to those in need. I'm so proud of them. :goodvibes They are excited to participate and help out.:thumbsup2

Have a good day everyone! :grouphug:

Love it, Jo. Very cute! :thumbsup2

Mel - I hope you feel better soon! DD4 is feeling better, but DD7 came home from school with a 102 temp and says she doesn't feel well. I can't even get her to take any Tylenol. So, it looks like I'll be home all day tomorrow too! Hopefully I can get DD4 back to school though.

T - I'm glad you're having such a great time with your Brownies. DD7 is in her second year (after one year of Daisies) and loves it. In fact, she had a meeting last night. THey finished their "sharing and caring" try-it. I'm getting ready to start my second year as the cookie mom for our troop. I don't mind doing the organizing, but dont' make me lead the girls!

Hope everyone has a great night!

I just wanted to say "Thank you" to Katt. I got the package today and it's just perfect! There's so much great information. Your timing is perfect, too, as we're working on 3D Jamestown replicas right now! :teacher:
I can't wait to go through it and read everything.
Thank you so much!

BTW- If anyone wants drop the Flat Stanley stuff, I totally understand. We're all so busy right now, especially with the holidays coming up so fast.

Our goal now is to get a postcard from each state. Anything you grab is great. Thank you all for being so great about helping us with our project! :goodvibes

Did you see The Monarchy on PBS? The Queen was visiting Jamestown for the 400th anniversary. It was really interesting to see all the preparations that went into a 45 minute visit. Plus I absolutely covet her hats! :goodvibes

I have both episodes recorded. I mean to watch them with Baylie soon. Thanks for letting me know. :goodvibes

I have your stuff all ready. Could you PM me your addy so I could send it to you. I seemed to have misplaced your address.

It was pretty dead last night, but I see there was a S'late drive-by post.
Hi S'late , how's the new temp job?

Doing another drive by..... two of The Loud Children are begging to come home, so we are leaving in 15 mins to meet my dad. All their Christmas is spread out all over the living room cause we were taking an inventory.....carp!

The temp job is only this week, but still more $ than I had on Monday. :goodvibes
