it almost scares me to say I am more like my father. :rolleyes:
Had we better warn Maddie and Evan to buy you a leash when you're older so you can't wander off ;) :rotfl2:

And then there's the talk for the 3rd year in a row about why we wont be there on christmas again. that'll be fun. So much to look fwd to. :laughing:
I'm sorry Kat, why can't families ever be easy? :hug:

Popping in quick-like because I just remembered... I keep forgetting to tell you guys about THE PERFECT PARKS BAG!!!!

I think I found The One. For real this time. ;)
Sorry V but :rotfl2:

Awwwww can't wait to see it :goodvibes

It was my turn to help at Guides again and it was games night so nice and easy, and that's it for my life at the moment :rotfl2: CE is obviously having fun with her Aunt as she hasn't checked in for a while!

It's this one - the Classic Hobo from LeSportSac. I got it in Peacock and used it Sun. at the MK. It was nearly perfect in every way!
.
My mother just bought that bag at Macy's. :thumbsup2 She loves it.
I forgot to tell you all that jimmy has a Science Fair coming up (yes in Kindergarten:confused: ) so we have been working on his project. I am so proud of him...he is so into it. The project is onclassification of dinosaurs and what they eat (ate?). He is so proud of him self, becasue other that some cutting (He cut a couple of dinosaur heads off;) ) he has done the whole project himself. I will have to take a picture of him with his project when it is done to share with you guys!:thumbsup2
Sounds cute, Janet - can't wait to see the photos. :goodvibes
Apparently they are related to Mitch's sister. :sad2: Mitch feels like he and his sister should have a relationship because his parents have passed away, but after years of trying and no reciprocation, he decided that, for his sanity, he doesn't need her. He'd do anything for her, but cannot have her in his life on a regular basis. He finally has come to the rationalization that even though he loves his sister, he doesn't like her as a person. Not to say that KC shouldn't have a relationship with his parents, but I know exactly what you're going through. :hug:

Andy's the same way with his family. He's washed his hands of his father and his brother.

Kat- I completely understand what you're dealing with. I never got along with Andy's family from the get-go and the fact that he knew how they felt and still wanted to be with me really pissed them off. And don't even get me started on the Holiday situations. :lmao: Isn't family GRAND? :rolleyes:

:rotfl2: Sorry! I meant to say "Hi!" :wave2:

Do both girls do guides Jo?

Ce had said that she might not check in for a while. :confused3

Isn't family GRAND? :rolleyes:

:rolleyes: How's this for annoying. I get along fairly well with my in-laws. My MIL can be a pain in the butt, but I have gotten really good at ignoring her:thumbsup2 We see them all the time since they live here. She gave me grief when my parents were here because she hadn't seen Jimmy for "a whole week". Um excuse, mom & dad haven't seen them in at least 6 months:mad:

I have to work on Wednesday and Friday:mad: Becasue of this I actually cheated and ordered a pre cooked dinner from Genaurdi's (supermarket). The inlaws will come over, eat, get Jimmy all riled up and then leave:rolleyes: . We are thinking of taking Jimmy to see the Thanksgiving DAy parade (The one here in Philly is the oldest:thumbsup2 ) That will depend on the weather though.

Friday I will get up at 3:00am, hit Kohls at 4:00, Toys R US at 5:00, adn then either Target or Wally World. Then I will go to work, and after work--shop some more:thumbsup2

Check out this website Rosie. It most of the black friday ads posted on it

She didn't :eek: :mad: BTW I've found out that we're NOT eating at Artist Point, or anywhere else they ate last year, so can I leave something at CSR for your Mom, what do you suggest?

OMG :faint: Are the deals really that good????

Today is my day off I plan on doing a lot of sleeping and a whole lot of nothing.

I love those days. Have a good one Lessa!

Yesterday I went to the festival of trees. They were so beautiful even if it is too early to have trees up!

Wow those were some interesting trees, but pretty. Although I doubt I'll ever put clothes and teacups in mine. :rolleyes: Why can't they do pretty things like that down here? :mad:

Good morning
I am tired, very tired. P (my 3rd child:rotfl2: )played hockey last night and called at 1130 to say he was "stopping into the emergency room to get a few stiches". WHAT?!?!

OMG :eek: , thank goodness he's ok and :yay: for Bashful.

Last night I had my first "official" Brownie meeting.

Alright T! :cool1:

Ooooh! and Ooooh! I'll keep in in mind. So far nothing's really beat my little camera bag thingy I have. I just want something small-ish, that's comfortable to have on me and easily able to open through the security check points.

I forgot to tell you all that jimmy has a Science Fair coming up (yes in Kindergarten:confused: ) so we have been working on his project.

Really? Kindergarten? :sad2: So glad he's done most of the work himself though, can't wait to see it.

Christmas decorating should start on Black Friday, not before.

Pulled one of my trees out of the storage shed yesterday. It's on the back porch and the rest of the decorations are being staged in the basement. :santa: I will not have it all done by "Black Friday" because of the Dallas trip but I'll have some up.

I have some of the new LED light strings that blink to music .... they are wildly bright! :cool2:

Iknow Jo , and I bet you don't celebrate the 4th of July either !!:lmao: Americans love an excuses for a big meal or cookout !!:rotfl2:

Well we got the new tv today. We are having issues though and it is probably just our own stupidity. We have a PS3 which has the built in Blu-Ray player. Well we can get the tv to display the games and regular DVD's but for some reason it is not wanting to display the Blu-Ray movies. :confused3 Erich is working on it now but it is frustrating! AH! Why can't electronics set-up be simple?

So, nothing much from me. My mom is scurrying around trying to get stuff ready because she's heading off to Puerto Rico for Thanksgiving. So she's driving me a little crazy as I end up doing half her errands.

This morning I went and took a class at my local scrapbook store:

It's so pretty, I'm using them as my title pages for my 2007 and 2008 albums.

That's about it, another lazy day for me too. :)

Oh I love those lights! BJs has a one where you can plug into this box thingy that plays music and blinks your lights to it. I've been dying to get it, but it's $65 and we're on a budget. :guilty:

Hi everyone.

I'm still alive. My cold has progressed to a stomache ache and headache. I hope I don't have the vomiting-thingy that everyone here had! Ugh. I do NOT need that. :sad2:

Bob's gaming with the boys in preparation of being gone for two weeks. The MIL's flight is booked (Finally!!!) and she'll be here on Friday. I'm so relieved that she's coming to help me that I haven't felt stressed or anxious all day! So, it's good. I just ate some toast with honey, maybe I can take my anti-biotic soon.

Wanted to say that I loved the pics of Mr. T, Angela's trees and Leo on the horsey. I don't need a Sportsac yet, but maybe before the Jan. trip, Yay Jimmy on his science fair project, loved your pages Z, Sorry about your little one T2, Hope your shoulder (?) is better JO, Rosie: I'm not doing anything for Thanksgiving but my two visiting moms might and to Kat: Sorry that your inlaws are such Poops! It's so unfair.

You guys are keeping me afloat. Don't go changin'............

MEL:love: :love:

Sorry to hear about the injury and hectic evening. Hope it all heals well!
thanks Mr T:goodvibes

Back from the surgeon with Basful and Dr says its healing much better than expected for 1 month post-op. :woohoo:
As we were leaving I said to Bashful dont you have to say something to the Dr.(thank you was what I was looking for) and he replied" Thank you dr for making my boo-boo go away and happy turkey day too":rotfl2:
He kills me with his cuteness:love:
Off to give the kids a VERY LATE dinner

Popping in quick-like because I just remembered... I keep forgetting to tell you guys about THE PERFECT PARKS BAG!!!!

I think I found The One. For real this time. ;)

It's this one - the Classic Hobo from LeSportSac. I got it in Peacock and used it Sun. at the MK. It was nearly perfect in every way!

Why?

I can wear it across my body, which is my preference. Don't have to remove it to get on rides.

Light as a feather, but holds a ton of carp. At one point, I had in it: a sweater, bottle of water, keys, phone, first aid kit, gum, snacks, lipstick, LL's touring plan printout, wallet and Leo's Power Ranger. And I'm pretty sure I could've stuffed more in.

Waterproof. Which places it leaps and bounds ahead of my Vera Bradley bags, especially for summer.

Easily accessible outside pockets that ZIP.

It's only fault is a lack of bottle holders on the outside. I have these great stainless steel water bottles, but I think I can buy neoprene sleeves for them and hook them onto the strap, so problem solved.

FYI, it comes in a bunch of other patterns/colors. Check Macy's and LeSportSac's websites.
ITA with V-THESE ARE GREAT!!!!---I use a smaller one than V but it is a lifesaver for me. LOTS of storage and waterproof too.VERY LIGHTWEIGHT
see horrible pic of me wearing bag

FOr those needing a smaller version this is fab.
Its the Kasey and only $34.00
Lesportsac Kasey

Whatever happened to me in the intervening thirty+ years? :lmao:

Errrr...ummm...I don't technically know what you look like...but Mrs. T seems to lika ya...so I'm sure you're great?

:lmao:

Hi girls. Thanks to everyone for the hugs!

I saw the Dr. He said it's no wonder I'm having trouble coping with all that's been on my plate the last few months and with Bob leaving. He gave me a small prescrip for Xanax. He said go ahead and take them if I need them. No worries. But, he said if I go through them quick I should see someone for more "targeted" therapy and help. He's only my family dr. He knows my family really well though and I knew he'd understand my issues.

So, I had some soup. That was the first meal since bfast yesterday so that's good.

Oh, and I have a sinus infection! So, once I get the meds in me for that I should be feeling GOOD.

My MIL is coming on Sat. She's staying until Bob comes home! Thank goodness. (Never thought I'd say that!)
And I called my mom and told her that the MIL will be here while SHE Is. She's cool with it.

Thanks again everyone. It's so nice to have you!

MEL

:hug: Feel better...ALL around Mel...you deserve a rest. This is probably your body's way of saying:

"Sit down. Take a load off!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good evening ya'll! :teeth:
Long day at work.
I got a student to work who hasn't done any work in 2 years. That was after he called me some horrid names and I threatened to throw him off a bridge if he ever did it again. Okay...I didn't threaten to throw him off a bridge...but I told him I was someone's momma, and would he want someone talking to his momma the way he talked to me? It was very rewarding.
I'm tired. We're having a leftover night. ;)
Hope everyone has had a beautiful day and has a beautiful evening. :hug:
