UGH! Ex-husbands. :rotfl:
IKWYM  I divorced mine becuase I couldn't stand him. But I still have to deal with him?

I dunno how KC stays up until 3 or 4am and gets up at 8:30 and works all day. Weird.
I'm convinced men don't need as much sleep as women

Both kids have school today and I need to hit the grocery store for a few things. Lunch by myself=HEAVEN! :rotfl:

Hope y'all have a good Wednesday! :goodvibes
You too!

Good morning Fockerville!!! What a fabulous 24 hours...
All of those things are awesome!

I'll be around! Happy Hump Day! :grouphug:
Have a great Wednesday CE
I haven't run into the fundraising part yet. The cost for TBall was reasonable ($30). The crazy parents:scared: I coached volleyball for 5 years (6,7,8 grade girls) and the parents were worse than the kids.:sad2
Parent's can be crazy. Last week I heard one threaten to spank her child if he didn't catch the next ball  Maybe she knows what works best for her kids, but if I said that mine would just quit and never want to play a sport again. Then the coach said that no one deserved the game ball because no one was playing their best. Really? not one child was playing the best a 6 year old can play? Really? Now some moms are wanting to confront him but I am just trying to stay out of it. We only have 4 weeks left.

That's one of my favorite dinners! :lovestruc
Me too. We may have that tonight!

Signed Chi up for danceline. Had to bring $100 cash. I went to the ATM but it kept giving me an error. So I had to go to a store and buy a piece of gum to get cash back from my debit card. They had $50 cap so I had to buy two pieces of gum LOL!!
Went out for dinner with my mom and MIL and had a blast. The balloon man was there and made balloon characters for all the kids. Tau got a frog. When we got to the car he had untwisted it and it looked like a tadpole LOL. Then he popped it and it was just eyes but he still carried it around and into the house.

:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

All great news V! Hope today is just the same for you!

Yup, grey. ;) (They give us all t-shirts, caps, and socks in the team colors/logos, but the pants stay grey every year, which is good. I have last year's, yet, and then my neighbor's given me some, so I have plenty of extra. :thumbsup2)

Well that's good news that you have a few pairs while the others are getting washed. Which reminds me...Linds has a game tonight and I need to see if her uniform is washed or not. LOL

Guess what...there has been a break in the rain AND the sun is gonna come out today:yay::yay::cheer2::cheer2:

Not much going on. Looks like Jim will be able to get his game in today so it will be grilled cheese and soup for dinner.

Have a great day everyone!:goodvibes

YAY for no rain and sun! :yay: Same story here and I'm glad.

I'm so glad you had fun, and that Tau wasn't traumatized. ;)

No tennis?!?! Glad you have a relaxing day ahead of you though.

Yep. But I'm feeling kind of anti-social, and both my mom and D called me and wanted to keep on the phone to talk about nothing. :rotfl:Some days I like that, but I wasn't in the right mood today. :rotfl2:

:confused3 Jimmy would just walk away and never play again

Question: What would you think if a salesman called and said he will be visiting tomorrow between 11:00 and 1:00?

We had one tell us that yesterday and I assumed this meant free lunch. Well he arrived at 11:30 and just left and guess what - no lunch

I'm a happy V right now. :goodvibes
:cheer2: congrats on the great day!

'bout time she earned her keep being on that panel;) J/K Jo LY:hug:

:rotfl:

im between classes now. not much going on. i can say i am fairly contant and happy the last couple of days.

Im studying like crazy, but i set a plan of my classes until ill graduate and ill only have to be in school for an extra quarter if i take every summer session. pretty good for taking 2/3 of a year off.:thumbsup2 of course those will be very busy quarters, but id like to get it done with. Dont worry, im not forfeiting my DL trips.;)

We were also able to figure out a nice game plan for marc and I. Its been hectic trying to figure out what to do about future planning since he works so far away, but i think we figured out a plan and hopefully it should be alright. I have about 1 1/2 more years of school (which will hopefully go quick) then well have our wedding, and move back down to our hometown area which is near his current work. From there well save up and search for a place to settle down. We definitely dont want to stay in the central valley (bad bad bad for allergies and health) but that will be our midpoint because he actually has a job there and paid firefighter positions are hard to come by. Then once we dicided where to go and he finds a job in the area :faint: (that could take years) well move and buy a house. I know this will probably change like 1000 times, but its better to have a tentative plan and some direction.:goodvibes

Im pretty excied to figure everything out though, because now we can pick a wedding date and marc will declare it open planning season.:woohoo: hopefully i can take it slow and not go too crazy with school and all.

everyone have a great hump day! geez this week is going by slow!

Why, whatever do you mean:rolleyes1:rotfl2:
I really don't know Janet :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

Night Jo. :goodvibes
Nearly night time again here, thanks :goodvibes

Today at lunch his tooth broke again so he's at the Army dentist. At least now if there are any further problems, the military will cover it. :)
Yikes but at least it happened in the right place!

i didn't notice she was being impatient.
love ya janet!!
:rotfl:

Yes I do! It's a small store a few blocks from here, they sell incense and organic soaps and stuff, some gift baskets and things like that.
Good luck Kat!

Yeah, we played. :headache: It was 48, misting rain to drizzle, and windy. So the umbrellas didn't help, because the mist was coming in all around. The field (and therefore the uniforms, shoes, etc.) was pure mud. Luckily, they finished it at 7:30ish rather than 8:00, but we came home and showered and they still just went to bed about 20 minutes ago. I'm at that point where I'm chilled and can't warm up - their showers seemed to help them.
Yuck!

Night All!!!
Hiya Rosie

Then, Aug. hours started showing up; thanks Jo! ;):cheer2:
:rotfl2: Great news on the riding :thumbsup2

I'm not playing tennis :faint:... :rotfl2:

Another busy day, David and I went into town this morning, he had the opticians, we did a bit of shopping and then I cleaned the house. We're having a new boiler fitted tomorrow so I cleaned before they came, weird huh :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2 Thanks that sounds sooooooooooo yummy! I'll be making my dad's birthday cake and this sounds so good!

UGH...I hate when that happens. I took Exedrin for a headache one night and was up until 3:30 and then tossed and turned all night long. and hope you can get some sleep soon.

Sleep and I aren't really friends this week.

Good morning Fockerville!!! What a fabulous 24 hours...

:thumbsup2 NICE!!!!

I'm convinced men don't need as much sleep as women

That must be true!

So today is your birthday right? I wanna make sure we shower you with obnoxious Birthday Wishes on the right day!!! :rotfl:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

***********************
Well already today stinks. I didn't get much sleep, kept waking up and going back to sleep a lot. I slept till like 2pm t4echnically because of the up and down. But I still feel tired. Not cool. My throat is kinda bothering me too, which just adds to the MEH.

KC is working then going to his show tonight so I am stuck home alone until probably 2am, at least. It's gonna be a long one. Luckily I have DVR and movies to watch.

OH and I am now obsessed with the idea of getting a new Vera Bag! Ebay and I have been going several rounds trying to find a god deal and a print I like. The one I ordered the other nigth came, it's too small but really cute, i'm sure I'll use it anyway. LOL. Now I need a larger one. Yea Need, like another hole in my head but off t0o ebay I go.

:wave2: Thought I should show my face over here. :goodvibes

There is a lot of stress at home right now. As some of you know my Mom's boss is the biggest witch on the planet. Well she wants to move my mom to a new position but is making it sound really threatening like she is going to lose her job etc, etc. if she doesn't accept the new position and even if she does accept the new position she keeps talking about "risk". This woman has a history of firing people simply because she does not like them and she has made it clear that she does not like my mom. Now my mom has been there for several years so you would think that if she was going to get fired it would have happened by now. :confused3 So needless to say my mom has been all worked up about this and stressing which is causing me to stress. I wish I was a nurse already so I could just tell her to quit and not worry about money and to focus on finding a better job. It will be nice to be on vacation and not have to think about this stuff. :headache:

Im pretty excied to figure everything out though, because now we can pick a wedding date and marc will declare it open planning season.:woohoo: hopefully i can take it slow and not go too crazy with school and all.
Good for you.

Huh. I guess I never have anyone like that come to my house. I don't know.
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I was talking about work :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I guess I am spoiled because at my old jobs salesmen took us out for lunch all the time.

We're having a new boiler fitted tomorrow so I cleaned before they came, weird huh :rotfl2:
A boiler is what I boil my potatoes in and I have never had one fitted

Sleep and I aren't really friends this week.

I'm so sorry Kat. Hope you get some good rest tonight

So today is your birthday right? I wanna make sure we shower you with obnoxious Birthday Wishes on the right day!!! :rotfl:

Thank you but you are a day early. :rotfl:

I'm with CE and have never had a salesman come to my house, and in the end it dawned on me you meant work ( ), but I don't know what I would think. I guess if your used to a salesman buying lunch during that time period then I would be thinking the same thing.:confused3

:thumbsup2 Sounds like you have a good plan set up.

Lindsey's t-ball game is cancelled due to rain. :sad2: I've done nothing but laundry today and pick up after DR. I clean up, he makes a mess 2 minutes later and I'm right back at it. :sad2:

I think I'm just in a bad mood and want the sun back.

Sorry about work Rosie. Good for you boss standing you guys though. to Judy and good luck to her for everything.

OK I did do an update around 2:30 AM. Evidiently it didn't take. Our computers at work are very dicey. Since they may be selling the place, no money for anything! Sorry guys.
Slow day around here today!

So much for not being up late this week. I took a midol which apparently has caffeine in it, and it gave me a boost of energy, but i still feel bloated lol.

I am just catching up on my threads and going to read my book and hope to pass out soon. I dunno how KC stays up until 3 or 4am and gets up at 8:30 and works all day. Weird.

Sorry you couldn't sleep! Too bad I was at work. We could have chatted.

Both kids have school today and I need to hit the grocery store for a few things. Lunch by myself=HEAVEN!

:banana: I hope you had a good me time!

First, the CDC struck some sense into the country by telling schools to stop closing over Swine Flu.

Then, Aug. hours started showing up; thanks Jo!

Next, I had a terrific riding lesson - I trotted with no bouncing and very little pain!

And the icing on the cake? Summer AP rates came out and I just saved $100 per night on my CR ressie!!!

I'm a happy V right now.

I'm glad your glad!

So, nothing at all happening here. It's rainy and chilly.

I got the kids to the bus, and then I did 30 minutes on the Fit and did my crossword puzzle. It's a nice lazy day. The boys have their tennis lesson tonight (the pros kindly let me switch their day based on the baseball schedule - we're signed up for Tuesday but can go Wednesday if we need. :thumbsup2) But, that's really all I have going on. I don't need to go to the store , I'm not playing tennis.

Hi CE! Nice to see you without the blur.

I'm convinced men don't need as much sleep as women.

You want to tell my DH this. He needs twice as much as me. Plus I can get more done in 15 minutes than he can manage all day. I'm constantly telling him he dinks around too much. Good intentions with poor execution.:headache:

Signed Chi up for danceline. Had to bring $100 cash. I went to the ATM but it kept giving me an error. So I had to go to a store and buy a piece of gum to get cash back from my debit card. They had $50 cap so I had to buy two pieces of gum LOL!!

Another busy day, David and I went into town this morning, he had the opticians, we did a bit of shopping and then I cleaned the house. We're having a new boiler fitted tomorrow so I cleaned before they came, weird huh

A boiler fitting. Huh. Doesn't sound like it would be as much fun as a dress fitting. Do most European countries still use boilers? I saw that they are making a comeback here in the states. However, they are completely redesigned. Nothing like the old days. You can set them up to heat everything including hot tubs. Very interesting.

Tell your mom I am so sorry about her predicament. It sux to have to face that every day. Nobody needs that. I hope she will be able to forget it all and really unwind for your vacation!

*********************************************************

Now it's our time for the rain. All 3 of my days off! SUX! Looks like I will be working on the man cave.

I have to go into town tomorrow to get groceries and a hair cut. I called my bro to see if he wanted to meet for lunch. I don't think he can make it.

I'm waiting on Doug to get home with pizza from Papa Murphy's. That's the one you bake yourself. He is picking up his BFF in town. Did I ever tell you guys that my DH has a problem when it comes to 'selling' things. Remember the military mobile with the snow plow? The deal was that he was going to sell the suburban when we bought that. Instead, he is trading the suburban for a worthless Trans Am that his BFF owns. It is in our pole barn - Not running. They were supposed to fix it. This is how my Doug operates.:sad2:

God help me.

I think he is home.

Gotta get the pizza cooking.

L8R, Fockers!

I really don't know Janet

OK I did do an update around 2:30 AM. Evidiently it didn't take. Our computers at work are very dicey. Since they may be selling the place, no money for anything! Sorry guys.

Ack....when is this possible sale going to happen?

Did I ever tell you guys that my DH has a problem when it comes to 'selling' things. Remember the military mobile with the snow plow? The deal was that he was going to sell the suburban when we bought that. Instead, he is trading the suburban for a worthless Trans Am that his BFF owns. It is in our pole barn - Not running. They were supposed to fix it. This is how my Doug operates.:sad2:

OMG! I would kill him;):lmao:

Sam - I thought I quoted you:confused3 SOunds like you and Marc have a great plan lined up. :thumbsup2

=========================================================

Evening all. Quiet evening. We woundup doing TV dinners for dinner:sad2: Jim's team won their game 10-0 and that was with him pulling the starting pitcher and holding up runners on first base when it would have been a triple:sad2: HE feels bad when there are blowouts like that.

I just went through the brochure for Jimmy's book fair and made him a wish list. It's a BOGO Sale!:thumbsup2 He is watching Ratatuoille (sp?) and then it will be time for shower and bed.

I'll be around:thumbsup2

We're having a new boiler fitted tomorrow so I cleaned before they came, weird huh :rotfl2:

Nah... ;)

Yea Need, like another hole in my head but off t0o ebay I go.

:rotfl:Good luck!

:wave2: Thought I should show my face over here. :goodvibes

Glad you did! Sorry about your mom.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I was talking about work :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I guess I am spoiled because at my old jobs salesmen took us out for lunch all the time.

Ah, that makes a ton more sense. :lmao: Don't mind me... :rolleyes1

A boiler is what I boil my potatoes in and I have never had one fitted

Ah, but in New England (and apparently Old England :lmao:) they are our heating device for the house - for hot-water radiator heat, not a furnace for forced air. :thumbsup2 Also, they serve instead of a water heater tank.

sounds like a very multifunctioning and useful appliance.:thumbsup2

Sorry - I had those other quotes up the whole time I was helping the boys with their new Lego Indiana Jones Wii game, and then putting them to bed and taking the trash out!

I had some not so good work news today too!!

Yikes, I'm sorry!

On another sad note Judy is filing for divorce right now !!

Oh, no. I'm so sorry for you all.

 I know the feeling and want to be that way today as well.

Thanks for understanding!

I think I'm just in a bad mood and want the sun back.

Hi CE! Nice to see you without the blur.

Thanks!

I saw that they are making a comeback here in the states.

The old ones are still all over up here - I'd not seen one ever in the Midwest except in the old school buildings... :confused3 We had a new one put in about 5 1/2 years ago, and it's certainly better.

God help me.

 Hoo boy. Sorry.

HE feels bad when there are blowouts like that.

He did all he could, it sounds like. :goodvibes

***************************************************
So, Woody got to pick the bedtime book tonight, and he chose this one my mom got at our last book fair (she was here.) It's by the author of Tuck Everlasting, and it's about an ex-pirate-cook whom the pirates decide has to go, as he isn't mean enough. So, he gets let off in port, and he meets a girl who's mom has a boarding house. The girl is trying to help him find a job, and the whole point of the book is that he keeps telling the boarding house folk about why he will be "not a baker," "not a farmer," etc.

Anyway, we read one about not being a baker, which involved him telling of a mermaid story, then they wanted the next chapter. It was about "not a fortuneteller" and the story about why not had a mummy hand and a really dumb ghost.

Woody has totally freaked out and claims he can't go to sleep because he's scared of ghosts. This is the kid who loves the Haunted Mansion, will watch any Star Wars movie, no issues, has had read to him the entire Chronicles of Narnia (in my opinion, can be scary...).

I hate to "pooh pooh" him, but I think he wanted my attention more than there was any real issue. I asked if he believed in ghosts, no. Even if there WERE ghosts, would one come here? No. Why are you worried? I don't know.

Sigh.

He's not come back down for over a half hour, so we may be OK now, but really... :sad2:

I know V, whose son thinks she'd feed him to the Country Bears, will understand my frustration. :rotfl:

Ah, well.

D should be home later, but really pretty late - I don't think he was leaving WI (exciting destination, no? ;) ) until 9:00, so with the flight and the drive, I may even be in bed. Not that I'll stay asleep, because he'll come in and talk to the dog. :rotfl2:

Anyway, I'll be around. I need to do some stuff that I should have done during my lazy day today, but didn't. ;) But we all know my cleaning style, so I'll see you later! ;)
