Sorry - I had those other quotes up the whole time I was helping the boys with their new Lego Indiana Jones Wii game, and then putting them to bed and taking the trash out!
I had some not so good work news today too!!
Yikes, I'm sorry!
On another sad note Judy is filing for divorce right now !!
Oh, no. I'm so sorry for you all.

I know the feeling and want to be that way today as well.
Thanks for understanding!
I think I'm just in a bad mood and want the sun back.
Hi CE! Nice to see you without the blur.
Thanks!
I saw that they are making a comeback here in the states.
The old ones are still all over up here - I'd not seen one ever in the Midwest except in the old school buildings...
We had a new one put in about 5 1/2 years ago, and it's certainly better.
Instead, he is trading the suburban for a worthless Trans Am that his BFF owns. It is in our pole barn - Not running. They were supposed to fix it. This is how my Doug operates.
God help me.

Hoo boy. Sorry.
HE feels bad when there are blowouts like that.
He did all he could, it sounds like.

So, Woody got to pick the bedtime book tonight, and he chose this one my mom got at our last book fair (she was here.) It's by the author of Tuck Everlasting, and it's about an ex-pirate-cook whom the pirates decide has to go, as he isn't mean enough. So, he gets let off in port, and he meets a girl who's mom has a boarding house. The girl is trying to help him find a job, and the whole point of the book is that he keeps telling the boarding house folk about why he will be "not a baker," "not a farmer," etc.
Anyway, we read one about not being a baker, which involved him telling of a mermaid story, then they wanted the next chapter. It was about "not a fortuneteller" and the story about why not had a mummy hand and a really dumb ghost.
Woody has totally freaked out and claims he can't go to sleep because he's scared of ghosts.

This is the kid who loves the Haunted Mansion, will watch any Star Wars movie, no issues, has had read to him the entire Chronicles of Narnia (in my opinion, can be scary...).
I hate to "pooh pooh" him, but I think he wanted my attention more than there was any real issue. I asked if he believed in ghosts, no. Even if there WERE ghosts, would one come here? No. Why are you worried? I don't know.
Sigh.
He's not come back down for over a half hour, so we may be OK now, but really...
I know V, whose son thinks she'd feed him to the Country Bears, will understand my frustration.
Ah, well.
D should be home later, but really pretty late - I don't think he was leaving WI (exciting destination, no?

) until 9:00, so with the flight and the drive, I may even be in bed. Not that I'll stay asleep, because he'll come in and talk to the dog.
Anyway, I'll be around. I need to do some stuff that I should have done during my lazy day today, but didn't.

But we all know my cleaning style, so I'll see you later!
