Well I get to take Tau to the dentist this morning only to then drop him off with mimi so that I can go to the dentist only to then rush to the school to check out alpha and delta to take them to the dentist! To top it off I don't have anything to read!!! I may bring my laptop and work on my scrapbook.
Zeta called me on the way to work cursing because he was having abdominal pain. He thinks it is a kidney stone. I told him to come home but he is too afraid to take off since it is still a new job. I said 'BUT IT'S A KIDNEY STONE!'

Looks like it is going to be a good day!!

Yeah, no joke! Hope Zeta feels better - if it IS a kidney stone, they really suck.

Tonight starts off the end of year season for Auntie Hedy-Mordie (13) has his spring concert tonight. Thursday Dniece14 (holy carp it'll be her last time performing as a middle schooler!) has hers. Friday we are taking Mordie and Ferdie(9) to the circus. Saturday is hopefully Ferdie's soccer game, and celebrating mother's day, as I'm working Sunday.

Things just pile up about now, don't they.

Another rainy carppy day. At this rate I should just move to Seattle or borrow CE's boat

Talked to Jimmy's teacher today and "move up day" is on June 12th. My baby isn't going to be a Kindergartener anymore

Howdy!

It's raining here, too. I'm not complaining as this is really the first rain in a very long time - we needed it. Our 10 day forecast looks pretty ugly, though - 2 out of the 10 show any kind of sun. At least I'm not going to boil in the non-ACed house.

The boys are supposed to have a baseball game tonight (there are Saturday games and one weeknight game - the weeknight game kind of roves between M-Th.) But, with the rain, I have my doubts. I don't know what our rain policy is for this league. Last year in t-ball, we'd play in light rain, but the fields could barely be called "fields" if YKWIM. The baseball fields are much nicer, so I don't know if they'll want to let us tear them up. Plus, of course, the pitching machine is plugged in, which might not be great in the rain! Anyway, I'm kind of waiting to hear about that.

I had my tennis practice this morning, which was fun, and now I'm doing laundry and just hanging out. D left this morning, so I'll be around and free to do whatever I want!

Here is where you all come in. Here are my planned character meals and planned buffets. Where would woul do these. My thoughts are in bold (for somereason I can't access colors's.

8/10/09 - Garden Grill [Dinner]

8/11 - Boma [Dinner] (Thinking the Celebrate today Party Favor - keep jimmy occupied a bit so Jim and i can enjoy dinner)

8/11/09 - Chef Mickey's [Dinner]

8/16/09 - 'Ohana [Breakfast on checkout day]

So which one would you do the cake at? Don't forget we are going to be heading to US/IOA for 2 days after we leave 'Ohana.

I'm watching Bride Wars right now. It's pretty cute, not an over and over watcher type movie, but worth a watch.

I am heading to Rite Aid to pick up my pictures of Bale for the photo album and frames I got, and gonna pick up a few things at the grocery store. Hopefully it's not pouring when I go.

Just wanted to give everyone an update about my friend with the brain tumor. He passed around noon today. I am still not certain but am leaning towards not going to visitation or the funeral. I just fear it would bring drama to an inappropriate situation.

I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but Mitch cracked a tooth a couple of weeks. This is the man who has never had a cavity. He kept going on and on about how his tooth didn't feel right and since my sister and I have both had the normal amount of dental work, well, she more than I, didn't pay attention. Today at lunch his tooth broke again so he's at the Army dentist. At least now if there are any further problems, the military will cover it.
