Sorry I have read but didn't quote, been a busy day and just as I was about to log on my neighbour came round to discuss her August trip, oh someone *cough*Janet*cough* needs to check out the panel :rotfl2: Little Miss Impatient :rotfl2: And now it's near enough time for me to log off, so night night :lmao: :wave2:

Hi, Jo! Bye, Jo!

Hope your having a good day too CE!

Thanks, it was pretty good!

Probably you'll feel better if you drink with your pain medication. ;)

EXCELLENT idea. :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

At least now if there are any further problems, the military will cover it. :)

Well, there you go! :thumbsup2

well i am, this rain SUCKS!!! :headache::rotfl2:

That's OK. They kept saying it was going to rain every day after the heat left last Tuesday or whenever. I really hasn't up here, for whatever reason, so it's not so bad.

*****************************************************
Speaking of, it's still raining a little and the fields have to be totally yuck, but no cancellation.

I called my neighbor - her DH is a coach in the next level up. They were supposed to practice, and he called her to say that they had to go, and wait, and it would probably be called once it got there. Gah.

I don't even mind being out in the light rain that's happening, but I just was so surprised they'd risk the fields. We'll see. Plus, it's so cloudy it's already like twilight, so I don't see ANY way we're playing til 8:00.

It's fine, it just means a lot of getting ready for nothing much. The boys are eating now and getting changed.

I need to get the boys a shower once we're home, whether we play or not, so I'll be back, but it will be late, so I'll probably just check in to say goodnight. Hope everyone has a lovely dinner (and sleep, Jo!) and I'll see you later. :grouphug:

Congrts to Bayley!!!
Off to work BIG FILING DAY with the BIG BOSSES:scared1:
good luck Rosie
I'm so sorry.

My two favorite work rewards: food and paid time off, lol!
Thank you V
and Me TOO!!

i had to put 2 of my pt's in restraints within 1 hour of each other.
OMG

Tonight starts off the end of year season for Auntie Hedy-Mordie (13) has his spring concert tonight. Thursday Dniece14 (holy carp it'll be her last time performing as a middle schooler!) has hers. Friday we are taking Mordie and Ferdie(9) to the circus. Saturday is hopefully Ferdie's soccer game, and celebrating mother's day, as I'm working Sunday.
Good luck:confused:

Hope Zeta is feeling better!:goodvibes
Thank you. It was a stone and he passed it as soon as he got to work.
Talked to Jimmy's teacher today and "move up day" is on June 12th. My baby isn't going to be a Kindergartener anymore :faint: Thank goodness his camp starts on the 15th, Jim isn't done work until June 25th.
Aw. Not looking forward to Tau even starting K. :sad2:

:faint: to all the appointments. Hope Zeta is feeling better.
Thank you. Hope you are having a great day.

Yeah, no joke! Hope Zeta feels better - if it IS a kidney stone, they really suck.
Thank you

More power to ya for even being able to jugle that many things at once! :worship: :worship: :worship:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

More rain. More meh. I really can't stand being home by myself without the cat.
Thank you Kat and

Love both the ideas, Janet. I'm actually going to get the Party favors for the kids at his B-day dinner at Chef Mickey's and I'm ordering this really cool Mickey Head cake from CR bakery.

I'm going to do the Birthday celebration for the room as well, with all the pressies. I figure, since we'll be in WDW for his actual birthday, he won't have a party at home and I can go all out. :lmao:
Totally stealing all your ideas :rolleyes1

\
I'm going to order this for Jimmy for the room
http://memoriesbybetsy.com/Memories_by_Betsy/Theme_Baskets.html#10

I was thinking that Chef Mickey's might be a bit chaotic:confused3
Stealing those too :rolleyes1

Janet, I lost your post but I was going suggest Boma or another resort rest. over the themepark restaurants simply because you would have to carry everything around in the parks with you after the meal.

I've been crazy busy and heading up to Ohio in the morning. I hope everyone is doing well and having a great Cinco de Mayo.
Feliz Cinco de Mayo

Teeth still hurting like mad. Boys are crazy busy and Bob's Bff (and GF, yuck) coming tomorrow for 5 days. And, yes, they're staying here. No, they didn't ask. No, they didn't ask if they could stay 5 days either. I'm completely P.O.'d.....

I'd grit my teeth but it hurts.
I'm sorry Mel.

I'm so sorry Debra
Thank you Jo.

:lmao: I had never spit anything out of my mouth while laughing but did the other night. We were watching something so stupid on MTV (I think Big & Rob) and I spit my pop out of my mouth. My kids looked at me like I was nuts.
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You're definitely not from the South. :rotfl: We call everything Coke no matter what it is.

Speaking of, it's still raining a little and the fields have to be totally yuck, but no cancellation.

That's funny. It hasn't rained her in two days and our coach cancelled because the field was too muddy. Then some of the moms are protesting and are having practice without the coach. Just what I need - TBaLL DRAMA! :rotfl2:

Is it weird that one of Delta's friends is staying the night with us Saturday night and Mother's day is the next day?:confused3

We are off to dinner for my Birthday.

I talked to Jim and we decided either the weekend of the 11th or the 25th works for us. Since you guys have to make ressies and stuff (we [probably just I;0 will just drive down for the day) so you just tell me where to be when:thumbsup2
[

Awesome I am going to make KC pick a weekend when he gets home! Yee Ha! Now we have to clue Mo in and make sure one of those is good for her too!

Anyone else wanna come????? C'mon ya know ya wanna!!!!

I'm here, reading but no time to respond! I saved all my quotes in a Word doc. so I can reply later! Ugh!!!!

Gotta go get Gus and get the boy's hair cut. Hope I have time to reply to you guys tonight.

MEL:banana:

OK thats just rude. I'm sorry. I hope it turns out better than you think!

sorry,

do you have an interview on thursday?

Yes I do! It's a small store a few blocks from here, they sell incense and organic soaps and stuff, some gift baskets and things like that.

We are off to dinner for my Birthday. [/COLOR]

When is your birthday? Is it today?

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Well I went out for a few hours. I went to a place near my supermarket called "The Little Cupcake Bake Shop". I had a coffee (illy, yum) and piece of cake (more like half the slice). It was amazing- nutella banana choc chip cake!!!!

Then I wandered around Rite Aid and spent $25 on nothing much, the pictures aren't ready yet which ticks me off. I wanna be done already with the photo album, prolonging it isn't helping.

Then I picked up a few things to make a pineapple gooey butter cake tomorrow. Thank you Paula Dean.

I'm off to watch the screener i downloaded of "He's Just Not That Into You".

Totally stealing all your ideas :rolleyes

Stealing those too :rolleyes1

HOw do think we all get our ideas...we steal from each other;):rotfl2:

Janet, I lost your post but I was going suggest Boma or another resort rest. over the themepark restaurants simply because you would have to carry everything around in the parks with you after the meal.

That's a good point. I'm leanign towrds Boma for the Celebrate today party favor and the cake for during our breakfast at 'Ohana. We are leaving that day but going to US for 2 days, so we can refrigerate what ever he doesn't eat. Yes, I'm going to let my 5 (almost 6) year old eat cake for breakfast...don't judge:snooty:

I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but Mitch cracked a tooth a couple of weeks. This is the man who has never had a cavity. He kept going on and on about how his tooth didn't feel right and since my sister and I have both had the normal amount of dental work, well, she more than I, :rolleyes1didn't pay attention. Today at lunch his tooth broke again so he's at the Army dentist. At least now if there are any further problems, the military will cover it. :)

Ouch, but at least the govt. will pay for it:thumbsup2

they grow up so fast. :sad1:

I dropped an email to Mo:thumbsup2

You're definitely not from the South. :rotfl: We call everything Coke no matter what it is.

:rotfl: Nope not even close to a Southern Belle. I can't remember if they called it soda or Coke in TX? Maybe it was Dr. Pepper because everyone I knew/know drink that there. Either way I called it pop. LOL

Thank you. Hope you are having a great day.

Thanks, it was good day.

:confused3 I would find it weird, but I like being with my family and having my kids around some wouldn't mind so much.

Yeah, we played - more on that below...

Oh man...that stinks. Hopefully you won't have to stay the entire time if the fields are bad, if you even have it at all.

Well... :rotfl:

*************************************************
Yeah, we played. :headache: It was 48, misting rain to drizzle, and windy. So the umbrellas didn't help, because the mist was coming in all around. The field (and therefore the uniforms, shoes, etc.) was pure mud. Luckily, they finished it at 7:30ish rather than 8:00, but we came home and showered and they still just went to bed about 20 minutes ago. I'm at that point where I'm chilled and can't warm up - their showers seemed to help them.

Anyway, I'm just now eating - I fed them before, of course, but I didn't eat - and I'm gonna veg in front of the TV for a bit.

oh, that is the part of sports i dont like. Well that and other sport parent nazis. And the cost. And fundraisers. And all the driving back and forth to practices. And midway through the season when they want to quit and you have to make them go. And oh nevermind I will stop.

Good night Fockers. Got to go back to work tomorrow. Yuck!

OMG that stinks! Please tell me their pants are not a light color. LOL

Linds is supposed to have a game tomorrow but we'll see how it goes since we are to get rain. And get this...idiot ex e-mails me this afternoon wanting to know Lindsey's ball schedule. I do and he e-mails me back saying he's going to *try* to make it to her last game. The man isn't working, nor sending child support, how the heck does he think he's going to get from FL to OH??? Magic carpet? And if he even says one thing to her about this and gets her hopes up I will strangle him. UGH! Ex-husbands. :rotfl:

I've only had pumpkin, but OMG! :cloud9:

Yep! I have made it before and I really like it, it lasts us forever cause it's huge too!

Sorry the pics weren't ready yet. Yum to the coffee shop and cake though. Recipie for pineapple gooey butter cake, please.

Here ya go: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/pumpkin-gooey-butter-cakes-recipe/index.html

The ,ain type is the pumpkin (which I have made and it was YUMMY, and the substitutions of pineapple for peanut butter are at the bottom, same recipe just a few changes.
'
that cake sounds amazing. Hope you get your pictures so that you can get some type of closure

Thanks, hopefully they will be ready soon.

The meet I mentioned was an Atlantic City meet we are throwing together in July.

So much for not being up late this week. I took a midol which apparently has caffeine in it, and it gave me a boost of energy, but i still feel bloated lol.

I am just catching up on my threads and going to read my book and hope to pass out soon. I dunno how KC stays up until 3 or 4am and gets up at 8:30 and works all day. Weird.

:thumbsup2 Thanks that sounds sooooooooooo yummy! I'll be making my dad's birthday cake and this sounds so good!

UGH...I hate when that happens. I took Exedrin for a headache one night and was up until 3:30 and then tossed and turned all night long. and hope you can get some sleep soon.

Morning Fockers!

Both kids have school today and I need to hit the grocery store for a few things. Lunch by myself=HEAVEN! :rotfl:

Hope y'all have a good Wednesday! :goodvibes

Good morning Fockerville!!! What a fabulous 24 hours...

First, the CDC struck some sense into the country by telling schools to stop closing over Swine Flu. :cheer2:

Then, Aug. hours started showing up; thanks Jo! ;):cheer2:

Next, I had a terrific riding lesson - I trotted with no bouncing and very little pain! :cheer2:

And the icing on the cake? Summer AP rates came out and I just saved $100 per night on my CR ressie!!! :cheer2:

I'm a happy V right now. :goodvibes

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wed. :grouphug:

OMG that stinks! Please tell me their pants are not a light color. LOL

Yup, grey. ;) (They give us all t-shirts, caps, and socks in the team colors/logos, but the pants stay grey every year, which is good. I have last year's, yet, and then my neighbor's given me some, so I have plenty of extra. :thumbsup2)

And if he even says one thing to her about this and gets her hopes up I will strangle him. UGH! Ex-husbands. :rotfl:

I dunno how KC stays up until 3 or 4am and gets up at 8:30 and works all day. Weird.

Me, neither. I am a night person, but then I can't get up very well.

WOOHOO! Have a good day, Lori! :goodvibes

All I can say is :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:. SO glad you had a good day!

*********************************************************
So, nothing at all happening here. It's rainy and chilly.

I got the kids to the bus, and then I did 30 minutes on the Fit :thumbsup2 and did my crossword puzzle. It's a nice lazy day. The boys have their tennis lesson tonight (the pros kindly let me switch their day based on the baseball schedule - we're signed up for Tuesday but can go Wednesday if we need. :thumbsup2) But, that's really all I have going on. I don't need to go to the store :faint:, I'm not playing tennis :faint:... :rotfl2:

I'll be around! Happy Hump Day! :grouphug:

Yeah, we played.

Yuck!:sad2:

I haven't run into the fundraising part yet. The cost for TBall was reasonable ($30). The crazy parents:scared: I coached volleyball for 5 years (6,7,8 grade girls) and the parents were worse than the kids.:sad2:

'bout time she earned her keep being on that panel;) J/K Jo LY:hug:

What have you done with our CE:confused3;):rotfl2:
========================================================

Guess what...there has been a break in the rain AND the sun is gonna come out today:yay::yay::cheer2::cheer2:

Not much going on. Looks like Jim will be able to get his game in today so it will be grilled cheese and soup for dinner.

Have a great day everyone!:goodvibes
