Lisa, Hello, I am Debra and have been a Fokker for only a month myself. These girls are great.

I have been really busy last night and today. After Tball practice and Cheernastics I cleaned out mama's RV (or caravan ) so we can use it later this week. My DH was so excited about his new job today. I am excited about the paycheck but kinda sad that he wont be around as much now. He will leave in the mornings before the kids wake up and wont be back until after tball/karate/cheernastics/cubscouts so I will be doing a lot alone again. The baby woke up and cried because he wasn't there. But then I reminded them all they were going to camp Mimi's today and all was well. Today they went to the children's museum.

After Tball practice and karate this afternoon I will finish cleaning the RV and pack it up. Tomorrow my brother is driving it to the campground for us so it will be ready when I get off work and we are staying wednesday and thursday night.

They have been keeping me busy at work today. I will check back in later.

BA and I tracked them down-----goat surveillance---
they crawl UNDER the neighbors fence into his cow field...........then walk north to a gap in the barnyard fence............then get back in their own barnyard.
And they are still turning their noses up at the new barn.

Your kitty looks just like mine! His name is Apollo since hes yellow like the sun. And his brother is Achilles because he has a spot on his heel. I like themed names

OMG! Me Too!! All my (and my brother's) cats have mythological names. My brother has an Apollo too, I named him because he too is yellow/orange cat and on his side he has a huge swirl design that looks like the hurricane on Jupiter, which is Apollo's Roman name. Our other cats are Orion, Diana (Roman name for Artemis who in mythology is Apollo's sis...and she's Apollo the cats sister), Athena, Ares, Osiris and Apollo of course. We had an Isis but she died and my bro had a Persephone and Luna, but they ran away.

I've seen them, but it's enough with bejeweled. Marble lines looks like this game I have called Zuma which I love, but is also very addicting so I try to stay away.

Just wondering how many TFW's have you seen at Disney? How many times have you given the sign to be given another sign or dirty look in response? How do I know if the person is a DIS'er or is just crazy for lime green?

Friday is my birthday and I've decided not to go to Disney and just go out to dinner with friends and family.

I know. But seeing as my AP is blocked that day and I do get in for free because of my birthday I don't really see the incentive, because the next day I can go for free too since the AP is unblocked. So that's what I'm planning. My brother's girlfriend's bday is Sunday so we're all (including my mom) gonna go to Disney Sat & Sun. Plus all the hotel rates go down in price the 18th.

Well, I need to leave in about a minute for my crazy day. I am going to stay at the gym until after my match, this time, so I won't be home until a bit before 3:00 - and then I'll head back to the gym with the kids by 3:30.

Not much going on today. #1 son has decided he can't stand his hair anymore so we're getting it cut this afternoon. It's long. Seriously. It falls to the middle of his shoulder blades. It looks great but he can't stand it anymore. I'll try to get a before and after pic for you (but I don't know if he'll let me!)

What a crap day. Leo came home with yet another note form his teacher, with more of the same stupid complaint: "Leo chose not to do the work assigned this morning. Instead he just sat there - he really missed out."

That sounds ridiculous to me, surely a teacher is there to make them work Here if they didn't do what they were told they would be disciplined, it sounds more like the teacher is rubbish rather than Leo is naughty

Morning everyone! Notice I didn't say "good". I think I finally caught the virus that's going through the Fockers. Thank goodness it's not the stomach virus, but just a sinus thing. My head is all stuffed up and I can't think straight. I've got the fuzzy head thing going on. So, if I type something crazy, that's my excuse!

Yeah I can't complain about my kids when it comes to glasses. The kids went with their father this past Christmas to my ex-BIL's house. The ex's girlfriend came as well. But when Lindsey got home she asked for something to drink and I normally give them coffee mugs to drink out of. Well, a few hours later she asked for another drink and I get another mug down. She then says to me, 'No mama. Amber (dad's girlfriend) says you don't have to use a new one each time.' The only thing that ran through my mind was well good for Amber but I'm gonna do what I want to do in my own house.

The kids just came in and are changing for tennis for them, and we'll be off again in 10 minutes or so. I was half hoping that D would be back from the office by now and decide he wanted to go with them instead, since I was there from 9-2:45 today, but he's not back.

I lost the match, 6-4, 4-6 and the tiebreaker (we play that instead of a whole third set) 6-10. So, it was really fun - we played a well-matched match - but alas, the season is over with just one win.

We're going to keep up the weekly practices through the end of school though, which is good.

OK, off again!

I read everyone's comments but I can't focus enough to respond. My appt. went well. The pressure is up to 19, which Dr. Seigle is NOT thrilled about, but he said to come back in 2 months. We'll talk about more surgery then. Not my favorite answer, but at least I get 2 months.

However, the drive home ended up being a really bad time. It was raining hard for one. Then Bob calls and tells me that he was informed by the VP of his company that they are all taking 20% pay cuts effective immediately. That's a HUGE amount of money for us. Like most, we live almost up to our limit. I'm so frustrated and scared right now. I know I shouldn't complain, as most people I know who work in the auto industry don't have a job AT ALL.

It's just so stressful to try to work out how to live on 3/4 of our monthly budget. I worry about what that means we'll have to cut. I mean, if that amount is almost a house payment, do you stop paying that? LOL NO!!! But, you have to add up the little, NOT necessary-but oh so nice extras, that you have (like Dish, Cell, Broadband, Movies/dinner out, DVC, gym membership etc) to even come CLOSE to that amount! So frustrating!!!!

And worse, I might have to get a job.

I've been sick for the past 2 days. yuk! Its basically just the yukkies. When i stand or move around i get nauseous, but aside from that ive just been very fatigued. I hate missing classes, not im gonna have to play catch up!

You are not being selfish at all. We are taking a paycut also with DHs new job. It is scary, but at the same time we feel fortunate that he was able to find a job in just a month. It will take some adjustments but I know we will make it through. Best of luck to you.

so im home sick...i hear someone come i the house(a friend of the other boys no doubt) so i go to take my cereal bowl to the kitchen and there is one of the guys setting up for band practice! yes theyve decided to try and start a rock band. And they cant be normal and go in the garage or something...they have to do it right in the middle of the living room! not to mention after they started this, the pg&e bill shot up by $80! ( dont worry i wasnt here much that month so i made the other 2 boys split it themselves) So i asked him if they could keep it down, but who knows how that will go.

yes...my house is full of dirty loud boys, and pizza boxes. This is the same guy that delivers pizzas. They randomly have friends crash here for a week and i never go into either of the living rooms. I have been confined to my bedroom and sometimes the kitchen. oh and not to mention when i got back from florida they had put a hole in one of the walls! he tried to fix it poorly. I refuse to pay anything out of my portion of the security deposit after living with these fools! I wanted to leave and move out with marc in june, but marc wants to wait until september when the lease ends so we can save some more money. How will i last another 3 months here...what? its 5 months!

Just wanted to pop in real quick and say thanks for all teh warm thoughts, kind words and excellent suggestions. I've been really, really down all day, but it'll pass. At this point, I think we just have to limp through the last few weeks of school and get to summer. As for next year, I'm looking into Charter and Fundamental school options, as well as contacting the school he'll be zoned for. Sadly no, we can't request teachers in any way; everything's selected randomly by computer. Most effective.

He did have a better day today, though. He had music class, which he loves, and they had a guest musician come in to teach them about African drum music. Leo decided that he wants to be an "African man" when he grows up.

V: Sorry to miss your post about Leo's teacher. Sadly, it's the same here. We have good years and bad. I keep telling myself that what ever they miss there, I know we're providing here. So, they fail on recognizing they're gifted in a certain area, I make extra trips to the library or tape shows that highlight that interest...etc. IF they miss that he needs help with fractions, we do it at home. You are his best advocate, but you're also his best teacher.

Keep doing what you're doing. Leo's smart and wonderful. They can't mess up all your hard work.

Hi Janet and everyone else! I should have introduced myself... I'm Lisa, a FT School Psychologist, mom to Emmaline (1) and DH is Brad. He has a DIS sn, but never uses it. I do all the trip planning, ie: chatting.

I'm home sick today, vomiting, the whole nine yards. I've been working on taxes (which still aren't done), cleaning (my parents are coming from out of town) and laundry (which never, ever ends).

DD, DH and I were sick all weekend, but DD made it to daycare today and DH to work, so it's just me and my 2 feline friends, Licorice and Rumpelstiltskin. I'm enjoying the quiet today, despite my coughing and other issues.

me and marc ( my fiancé) rent a house with 2 other guys. I was gone in the fall, but came back in January and had to find the house in all the mess they made. Marc and I want to move out into an apartment soon, but well be paying twice what we pay now!

So they officially drove me out of the house! I walked (stumbled) to the park around the corner. Isn't that the first place you wanna be when you have a fever and want to throw up? Oh and it's sunny but so breezy imfreezing. This also makes it hard to get any studyi g done.
