Carrie- I'm not sure about chickens... they may have a rule about that! :lmao: That's not the price in Austin. That's not the neighborhood, either. That's the one that has the virtual tour, though, so I linked it. :thumbsup2

Kristel- It's very simliar to how much first floor is now (minus the master bedroom downstairs), so I'm used to it. Plus, I hand each kid a bag and get moving. They usually bring them in while I put away. :thumbsup2

Z- Thanks. I should be grateful we can even find a house here for the price, I know. If I ever move to California or Michigan (or it sounds like Florida), I'll be living in a box! :rotfl:
Of course, that's the model, so mine won't have all those upgrades! :cutie:

I'm wiped. I mean... I'm shattered (Love the word, Jo), so I'm off to bed. G'night everyone! :goodvibes

 to both of you and glad you both enjoyed the day

Thanks Lori. did I mention that shes only 26? UFF DA! :sad2:
Hello Fockers!!!

You guys are great. Just had to say that. It is Friday!!!! I hope it will be a good one.
I'm working my 3 nights again. I'm supposed to hang out with the SIL on Sunday. That should be interesting.
Chat again later.
Great job again Kristal!!! :worship:
the meeting with SIL should be fun! popcorn::
What do you do for work anyways?
have you thought about IP DIP 2 in October? when are you taking Rockie?

Ok gotta get back to work....night guys!
Hi Z!!
Carrie- I'm not sure about chickens... they may have a rule about that! :lmao:
O-well.. guess I`m staying in our 75 year old house. I would miss my girls and 2 roosters too much. ;)
good nite~

Morning Ladies

Thanks Again Kristel for the recap.. I'm going to HAVE to go back and read there is STUFF there I need the full Story on.

LONG DAY yesterday.... these Thursday dance meetings with Sarabeth are getting long... but they have a BIG DANCE coming up at church March 8:scared1: ( SPRING FORWARD SUNDAY:scared1: :scared1: ) and BE THERE AT 8:00 am,, 30 minutes earlier than i am usually there so with the time change... I am losing 2 hours of sleep ( how's my fuzzy math working ;) )

back later

Good Morning Fockers!!!

I loved the catch up post Krista!!! The colors are so pretty as well.

I am losing my mind this week. PS (DD 7) has been staying awake every night :scared: She heard about Bloody Mary from a boy in school. Remind to choke that little bugger when I go into work. I am honestly at a loss. I haven't been this tired since the kids were infants. I have even brought her into bed with me, she still stays up shaking and scared. She has never been a huge fan of sleep. Any suggestions?

I got some good news today. :yay: Kirt's company does the A/C and plumbing on the house we'll be building. That means, any profit the company would have made, Kirt and I will get in free upgrades. Zoned A/C will be a nice thing that we need here. Also- he'll get to go in and make sure it's done right. :woohoo:

What a great incentive! :thumbsup2

Kat How about "Nothing would make me happier than to share a friendship the way our Mothers did , but the friend I want to share that with needs to be clean living .If you could become such a person we would have a chance at such a relationship!!"You would have put the ball in her court, if she is offended that's on her ,honesty is always the best solution!!:)

You're good Rosie. ::yes::

she will be starting a outpatient program soon. it looks really good. it runs for 2 weeks from 9-4. group therapy sessions. family counseling, life skills. I hope she gets something out of it. :guilty:
Good luck to her. :goodvibes

She heard about Bloody Mary from a boy in school.
Find something equally scary to tell that kid? :rolleyes1 Honestly, I feel for you because I don't sleep well either.

Today I'm planning on staying at home and doing laundry and cleaning up the house. Of course anything can happen and that could change. ;) My BIL is going to be in & out of town next week so my sis asked my mother to come to help with Reid. That means I have to deal with her while my sis is at work. We have a few games next week and may go to tea so we won't be sitting around looking at each other.

What about telling her you read on-line that Bloody Mary was particularly allergic (or afraid) of this special potion that you made up for her. Then give her a bottle of water mixed with a bit of glitter she can spray when she's scared.

I really don't know. I would be pissed off that the little brat told her such a stupid thing. I don't know if you're religious, but I would probably fight it with talking about God's view of things like that. I would read a few bible verses about fear to her. And I would say prayers with her before bed each night asking God to help her feel safe and comfortable. I would talk about how little boys like to make up scary things that aren't true.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this. What a pain. Poor PS!

Ugh! I don't even want to think of losing an hour of sleep. I'm too tired now! :headache:
Dance seems like a part time job here too, sometimes! ;)

Don't get me started on moms. Mine is making me not want to move back. She annoyed the snot out of when I was there the other day.

Have a productive day! :goodvibes

I don't what my deal is with sleeping lately. :sad2: I've been staying up later and getting up earlier.
We have our normal Friday stuff today- PE, lunch with friends, volleyball... Then B's friend will come home with us from volleyball and I'm taking them to see Confessions of a Shopaholic tonight.

Kirt loved the house too, so it looks like we're going to go to Austin and sign a contract tomorrow.:yay: That will take so much stress off of me. I'll be glad to know what's up.

Advice time.....

Dawn, you have so much going on right now, it's no wonder you're not sleeping. Hopefully signing the contract will put you at ease.

Good Friday morning :goodvibes

Mine started with spilled milk (curse you, Costco milk containers!).

I'll be around all day...DH has my van while his is in the shop getting new belts. But I'm hoping to get outside to tidy the gardens. Although I don't know why...they're predicting snow Sunday and Monday :headache: Will this winter ever end?

Have a great day!

I love that :rotfl: Come here little boy, do oyu want to know what lives under your bed?

I love going to tea! That is our new favorite past time (besides stayong awake)

I am annoyed at the kid. Apparently his older sister told him it was all true. I think I will drink a Bloody Mary in her honor. I think praying is a good idea. I will try that and some anti bad dream spray...

I want to see the Confessions movie too! Let us know how you like it.

Sorry to my sleepless, over worked Focker friends. I know what is causing all of this sleeplessness, we have going around ~ We work to darn hard and have too darn much junk going on in our lives. We need a vacation! :rotfl:

I was up until 2 last night getting my scrap booking crud together. I still have at least an hour of prep today and I need to pack myself. We got about 8 inches of snow yesterday/last night. But it STOPED! DH is working from home, so that I can leave by 1. I just need to get his butt off of conference calls to India, so he can blow the driveway and clean out his car, then load my loot! :worship:

I need creative juices girls! Please send me creative juices! I uploaded 350 pictures to Costco and was to get a dent in them. I am trying hard to get caught up to 2007!

Off yo upload music. I'll try to stop back and say buh bye!

Okay- I've been working hard to find what I want. I think this is the route we'll go... We'd build and move when it's ready in June. Then I can slow down, enjoy my trip and get things in order when I get back. Kirt may have to commute a bit before we're there, but that may just have to be the way it is.

Here's the house want to build. It's not the right neighborhood, because I don't want Mel showing up at my house with her sleeping bag a cold germs.
Actually, this one is the one with a virtual tour of the model. I'm going to catch up now.

House
I want to upgrade it to a a tub/shower in the masterbath, a study downstairs, and add the fireplace. :thumbsup2

I Like it Dawn... I WISH I COULD HAVE A BRAND NEW HOME:guilty: When we get a home I ALWAYS HAVE TO PAINT ALL THE ROOMS, CARPET AS I CAN AFFORD IT, OR REFINISH THE FLOORS.. AND MAKE LOTS OF UPGRADES:headache:
I had hope to build what I wanted. Mom and dad only had 1 home and they built it. I found a plan I loved 5 years ago... I'll be in this one till Jesus comes back.
BUT Then I'll finally have a Mansion with New Home Smell :goodvibes

It looks great, Dawn! We've built both of our houses as well. I totally understand your thing about older homes. You just don't know what they've been through. Although I can say that we've had a few issues with this one as well...

Sometimes New home have their own little demons., I have been told, and they can be horrible.. NOT YOU DAWN.... Your's will be fine:thumbsup2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hello all! Good day so far! We went this morning at looked at the apartment......................... AND LOVED IT!!!!! It's so spacious and nice. it's all new stuff. A full size fridge and stove, counter space in the kitchen. It's a kitchen and living room combo but it's twice the size of what we have now. Windows in every room, central air, a frikkin washer and dryer! The bedroom is small but our bed would fit and thats all that matters to us. It really would be great for us. So we told the guy we are interested. He has someone else coming to look at it sat so after that we will know. We plan to call sat afternoon so they know we are serious. We could potentially be moved in there by MArch 15th!

RUN.. DO NOT WALK TO THIS NEW ABODE.... AND DO NOT LOOK BACK KAT. That apartment has been a NIGHTMARE :scared1:

OMGosh! Look at this game I found today! I almost fell over laughing! :lmao:

Unwell Mel

L/Y, Mel! ;)

Advice time.....

I have a younger cousin (she is 26 i think), she isn't actually my relative but we grew up together until we were about 10 or so. She is my godmother's daughter. When we were young we were close. Our mom's were best friends all their lives. Her mom is one of the few who came and spoke at my mom's funeral. My cousin lost her dad about 5 years ago so she understood what I was going through. We kept in distant touch over the years.

I don't mind talking to her, but I try to keep it on the computer in emails or facebook now. She keeps trying to make it more. What do I do???

I was going to try and write her an email an explain this but how do I do that? I feel really weird about the whole thing and want to deal with it... what do I do?

ayúdeme!! ;)

Is she still doing that lifestyle ??? What is got you uneasy about even considering her friendship... unless she is still doing drugs and stuff ??
If she is still living that lifestyle... then I would probably say no. If not.. I might be willing to try it... really try it. Who knows you both MIGHT FIND OUT it would not work.

This builder has refrained from building houses unless they have a contract for purchase. She said it's how they've kept from being affected by the ecoomy issues. I don't mind building. I can pick everything I want, so it's fine really. I'm glad it's fully sodded. We're too old for the junk now! :rotfl:
Since they are only building as needed, it should only be 3 months until it's done. :thumbsup2

I HOPE SO DAWN... I am sure you have mulled this through your logical brain.. but what if it takes 6 months to finish ??
I got some good news today. :yay: Kirt's company does the A/C and plumbing on the house we'll be building. That means, any profit the company would have made, Kirt and I will get in free upgrades. Ya know what this momma would do...
Make up my own version.. about those that TELL the story of Bloody Mary... and what happens to them is WORSE that what happens normally.:rolleyes1

Dance seems like a part time job here too, sometimes! ;)
Oh Good I thought it was just me... Cheerleading is worse thankfully Sarabeth is Over that now.

Morning. Yet another day in hell, here. :sad2: Yep, once again, my day began with a boss spazzing out at 8:10am. Long story, but she took a small, not even very troublesome, situation and blew it up to epic proportions. Not mad at me... but involving me in her freak-out. Why can't these people chill the $*^% out already! :headache: :headache: :headache:

Leo's off to his dad's after school, and I'm having dinner with my PA friend, who will be spending part of the weekend with me. I'll try not to drown my sorrows over dinner. ;)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

We went this morning at looked at the apartment......................... AND LOVED IT!!!!!
Yay! :yay: Fingers crossed that you get it.

Advice time.....

I was going to say it's a tough one, I'm not sure, blah blah blah, but Rosie NAILED it I think! :thumbsup2

You really didn't think I wasn't still planning did you:rolleyes1
Nope! :teeth:

I'm still tossing HDDR around, too. Would it be fun with just Leo and me?

I got some good news today. :yay: Kirt's company does the A/C and plumbing on the house we'll be building. That means, any profit the company would have made, Kirt and I will get in free upgrades. One Unwell Mel doing a drive-by....

I have to clean my house, pick up SD from his friends, call another friend and have him over to play with Gus, pick up groceries, and do laundry! My nose is still plugged up so I'm trying decongestant today! I don't like to take meds if I don't have to but I can't stand not breathing through my nose anymore!!!

Hope you guys have a great Friday. It thunderstormed all night here and now it's icy. Supposed to snow again tomorrow. I am SICK of winter!

:scared1: Are you kidding me?! Snow? In SC?? In MARCH???!!! :faint:
That's what they're saying...73 today, 72 with thunderstorms (hail and high winds) for tomorrow and Sunday...and Monday, a high of 40! and snow showers.:sad2:

I guess I'm still too far north.

   about work.

:guilty: All this talk of snow is worrying me.....

The weather is turning COLD Sunday and calling for maybe our first snow of the year
BUT .. Scott is Flying out Sunday... North of here.. where it will be colder and snowy...

I know they "de-ice" and all that... BUT....:guilty:
