My friend's husband is leaving for Afghanistan next week, and after she and her little girls drop him off in Georgia, they are coming here! She wants to go to AK, and since no ressies are available at Tusker House character breakfast, where can we see the crew? Yes, I realize I should know this, but I have had no need before.

The other place is Rafiki Planet watch (they changed the name but it is the place you have to ride the train to get to, close to the safaris). These are inside and it is air conditioned. Plus there is a petting zoo.

Hope they have fun. There are lots of military discounts right now. Too bad no special military meet and greets. That would be awesome.

It is a ring that we wear when we operate our XRay gun (we use it to determine what type of metal we are dealing with). It is regulated by the state and we have to turn in the rings every quarter for testing to ensure we are within safe xray radiation limits.

I was up late last night, didn't think I was meant to say anything but everyone else including my boss has so I will. I had a conference call with Disney last night, we have one a month and we alternate between lunchtime and evening EST, so I normally miss every other one. But as it is the school vacation I thought I'd stay up. I did take the call in my jammies tucked up in bed though Anyway it finished at just gone 1.10am my time and David started moaning that his face had gone numb, then his leg and arm all down his left side. Me being the ever sympathetic wife told him to go to sleep He still felt rough this morning and tried to get a Dr's appointment, the earliest was Friday Anyway he decided to continue as normal, we'd planned to go to a safari park today but just after we'd done our packed lunch it started chucking it down so we decided to go to the cinema instead. We saw 17 again and I really liked it, David walked out half way through to get air so he missed the end. When we got home he called the Dr's again to see if anyone could talk to him, when he described his symptons they told him to go straight to hospital. After a 2.5 hour wait we finally got in, a friend had the girls for me, and the Dr was fantastic, really nice. She finally decided that she thinks David has some type of migraine that also causes numbness and prescribed beta blockers which he may have to take every day for ever.

Anyway that was my boring day, how about yours?

JO! HE COULD HAVE HAD A STROKE OR HEART ATTACK! At least get him an aspirin THEN go back and talk to Disney!

Not yet. I even got on the floor under my desk with a flash light (a.k.a. torch). I can't find it anywhere. I am going to look in my coat pockets when I get home. Perhaps I accidentally brought it home with me.

Our receptionist needed a hug this morning and so I gave her one and she told me she didn't like my hugs, that they were too 'white'. She then proceeded to teach me how to hug like a black woman . So from now on when you see this from me know that I am hugging you in my new style!

I've been sick for the past 2 days. yuk! Its basically just the yukkies. When i stand or move around i get nauseous, but aside from that ive just been very fatigued. I hate missing classes, not im gonna have to play catch up!

Wow it took a while to quote!!! I missed a lot since yesterday! KC had to work last night so no PC for me. Just as well, as I am trying still to get this place cleaned up.

I am ALMOST done! We are switching around some dressers still, eliminating one and putting stuff into what we salvaged of our old unit. We actually took one side of it(the side with the cabinet) and made it a free standing thing for next to our front door. Otherwise it went to pieces because ti was a weird piece to take apart. The new unit is up and sort of decorated. We are going to IKEA tomorrow to get the cabinet and drawer inserts that fit in the squares (for a few of the 16 squares anyway) so when it's all done I'll post pics! I also need to realign some pictures on the wall as we moved the couch too.

KC is off to fix his friends pc today so I can get the rest of this done, I hope. Then I have some small projects for him to do too <insert evil laugh>.

Well, Leo had a pretty good day at school yesterday. He's been sooooo tired lately, and I know the Zyrtec he's been on for allergy season wasn't helping, so we skipped it the last two days. Holy carp - that stuff ought to be used for ADHD! He's like a different kid off it; full of energy, not falling asleep on the couch at 7:30pm, talkative... he wiped me out in an hour flat!

I swear when we don't give Jimmy his medication, but give him his Clairitin for the allergies it has the same effect

My bags should arrive back home today so Ill be up to my ears in laundry soon enough.

Training was good, but it drove me crazy not being able to check in with you guys. I was done at 4:15 and picked up Jimmy from after school care. I took him to the library and then to McD's for dinner. Came home and my dad called so i could book his airline ticket for when they come home. Not much planned. Hello to everyone else! Has anyone seen David lately? What happened to him??
Did everyone have a good day? I did. I had a nap this morning. Then I did some quick picking up around here. Showered and went to the grocery store (store#1). Hit the sales there, and I'm so proud of myself! A trip to this store under $100 is almost impossible. I did it for $98!!! Whoot!
Then on the way back home, I hit the other store for their sales. Another $50 and I had a car FULL of food! Then SD called and told me that he didn't have club after school so I had to pick him up. I hate when the plans change!

We put away the food and then walked to Gus' school to pick him up. It felt so good I decided to hit the gym for an hour. I biked 7.1 miles. I could've kept going but I was out of time. I had to come home and make dinner. Gus has a bad headache and tummy ache. Hope it's not anything bad.

Bob's on his way to Ohio from PA. He stopped off in Youngstown, OH to participate in one of the Tax Day Tea Parties. (Look away if you aren't interested....)
He said it was wonderfully organized. Peaceful and very interesting. He got to talk with some of the local politicians and was in good spirits when he called.

Hope you all had a great day! Tomorrow it's supposed to be 70 degrees!

OMG JO, Im am so glad he went to get checked out and its nothing to serious.

Do you ship it to yourself?

YES we us a service call luggage concierge and they p/u from our home and ship to our hotel then back to out home when we leave. It great and doesnt cost that much more than if we were to lug it ourselves and check it with the airline 1 large(55lbs) and 1 med(45lbs) cost $278 roundtrip.

Took our fish tank water in to be tested to see if its ready for the "real"fish and they said not yet ,gave me some chemicals to put in and told me to come back in a week. $42 later I was on my way home with NO FISH!!
BTW FISH ARE EXPENSIVE!!!!WHO KNEW some of these things are $100 each WTH!!!

Happy announced that he wants to hatch the baby chicks again this year --thats all I have to say about that!!

tell me about it. We just lost every fish in our tank to Ick Jim is just reating the water now and we are running the filter and everything to get it clean, but we won't put new fish in it for at least another month
