Ok, number one rule about APOLOGIZING:
I'm sorry means: I feel bad for hurting you. (emotionally, physically etc) I will not do it again.

I tell my kids this at least once a week. It does NOT mean:
I'm sorry you grounded me for hurting you. I will apologize so you UNground me and then do it again some time in the future because I didn't learn a lesson.

I had to punish two of my three last weekend (I only took one swimming while the ohter two lceaned the garage with their daddy!!! ) and I totally felt horrible for it. I had to have K tell me several times that it was the right thing to do so they don't turn into punks. Being a momma is hard and wonderful at the same time.

Yes, Yani is a good friend she was feeling crappy that weekend in Disney though. I miss snow. You know you're always free to escape to Miami when the ILs arrive.

The screaming kid and Yani really give it that "Disney Feel." I think every video I've ever shot in Disney has a kid screaming in it....

Ok, tomorrow the in-laws arrive. I already cooked and shredded a bunch of chicken for a big pot of chicken soup. I'm ahead already!!!
UN Bob left for Chicago already. SD is getting ready to head out the door. He has a bunch of new classes. He dropped Spanish 3, which seems to have helped his anxiety some. That realigned his other classes so, we'll see.

I plan on doing NOTHING but reading TR's all day. Oh, and I might make a banana bread. I need a mental health day before the Inlaws arrive.

Judy had an interview at work for a new job within the company, 2 big bosses asked her to apply. She would be ins sales/customer service and she hasan awesome reputation with the customers . She would have her own office, would get a smallsalary increase but every 3 months a bonus check based on her sales . If she gets it , Disney will be paid for next year with bonus money! She is soooo excited as she thinks the interview went very well. The only problem could be her current boss might not let her go as she is so NEEDED where she is !! Please keep her in your prayers as she sooo wants this !! Let's hope the Pixie Dust spreads this way!!!

Evening, Ladies!

Well, mom is here, the girls are in bed and I'm hungry. Luckily, I can eat up until midnight, so I've still got time to eat. My neighbor gave me a bunch of lasagne, so I think I'll have some before I try to get some sleep. I don't know if I'll be able to get any or not, but I may at least try.

DH is under explicit instructions to text Dawn as soon as he talks with the doctor, so hopefully he'll do so. I don't know when I'll feel up to posting, but hopefully within a few days.

Well, I had my brother, sister-in-law, and my two nieces over for dinner. Only...I couldn't enjoy it because Jon had a 'tude night.

Good job mama for sticking with it! At what age can I start doing this because I sooooooooo need to start with my 5 year old.

This isn't Jodi, this is DH. She went back for surgery at 9:45 AM EDT (about 45 minutes ago). The surgery is supposed to be about 2 hours. She appreciates all the prayers and good wishes from this board, in case she hasn't said that already.

It's hard to do at any age. Especially when they loook at you with those huge cute blinky eyes. But, I have to remember, I'm doing him a favor. He has to learn to follow rules and that there are consequences for his actions.

She wanted to help but I just wanted to get it done and in the oven. Then I felt bad for telling her to get out of the kitchen because all she wants to do is learn to 'cook like mommy.' So, she came back in to help with the stuffing and mixing a few things up. That seemed to please her and my mommy guilt subsided (for the minute anyways LOL).

I feel like that loads and then feel mean if I don't let them help

I'm sorry I haven't checked in all morning, it's been crazy.

But I just received this text from Eric:

Jodi out of surgery, all benign. Took one ovary and removed cyst from the other.​

So, it looks like the best possible outcome.

Jodi got done with her surgery around 11:30 AM. They took out "Junior" which was the size of a baby head, and took off a cyst off the other ovary. The other ovary was perfectly intact and functioning and both cysts were benign. She's still in recovery now but will be in her room within the hour.
