OMG, seconds after I posted, I went to the Resort boards and saw a new thread: Bed Bugs at ASSp! Now I know these bed bug threads pop up almost daily... but for the resort I was just about to book? Is it a sign?! Does it mean I should consider CBR?!?!

I am alive just not chatty. Do not want to get into details. I've Got the Blues, Sara is just so sad in school and I can not keep up with all the FFTR's so I just checked out for a while.

I'll be back just need some down time... need a getaway with NO FAMILY and NO KIDS... yeah ... like that's gonna happen... especially now that school in back in.

Okay, I understand needing to check out for a bit - I have to do that sometimes too. But just to collect yourself and feel better, not to hide okay?

Thanks to a tip on the Resorts Codes & Rates board, I checked Hotels.com for Oct. rates at WDW resorts... and found ASSp for $59/night!

As compared to the AP rate (which isn't a discount at all) of $165!!!

Should I book it?!?!

YES!!!!!

The UK free dining is for much longer next year too, this year it was from about the 12th August to end Sept, next year is 2nd Aug to end Oct!!!!!

WDW is clearly hurting. I saw a bunch of PIN codes went out to FL residents, too. Not me. Of course.

We even had 2 Disney castmembers practically insisting that he take the stickers they were offering and put them on the tray on his wheelchair. We couldn't get them to shut up until we took the stickers. We gave them to children we saw later in the day. He looked at me and said "yeah Mickey pirate stickers would really look professional on my tray" . He takes it all in stride, I am the one that gets frustrated and upset.

Tracy, that is terrible.

While we were waiting for Spectro Magic to start, this CM was passing out stickers like crazy. She was literally throwing them at people. If someone walked by with a stroller, she was throwing the stickers into the stroller. We wondered if the CMs were now being paid based on how many stickers they give away.

Kat - Your friends gift sounds fun - Wish I could go to the play with you.

Jo - As Jen said - "Girl Power!" Congrats on beating David. I bet he can't stand it. When the kids and I play games, I always high five dd and we say "Girl Power" if I am winning or she is (well, she thinks she is playing, but she isn't and she always claims to win.)

Janet - Jimmy is so cute. Love the school uniform. How was your day while he was at school?
Also - on the dining. We at at Tony's once and it was the worse meal we've ever had at Disney. I have heard mixed reviews, but our experience was so bad that we say we will not return. Kona cafe was our second worse experience eating, but it was dinner. I am sure breakfast is good.

CE - to you. I have those same times where my kids say stuff that lets me know they don't appreciate me. Then they will say something really nice, out of the blue, that makes up for it all.

V - ugghhhh - school!!!!!!!! I often think about going back to get my masters/ teaching certification, but I don't know if I could take going back to school. The first time around was stressful enough. Maybe if I only took a class or 2 at a time.

HSM - ugghhhh - school!!!!!!!! lol. My dh told me the other day if I wanted to homeschool he was fine with it. I has mentioned it before and he was totally against it. DS doesn't want to homeschool, though. I'm going to think about it. I may pm you with questions.

I know I missed a lot of people and I had other comments that I can't remember. That's what I get for not multiquoting.

DD had her first dance class today. She cried the entire time and would not let me leave the room. The moms are not supposed to be in the room. This was their 2nd class, but we were out of town last week, so she missed the first one. Immediately after the class she told me she didn't want to do dance classes anymore. I told her too bad because I have already paid for it. Anyway, I reminded her towards the end she seemed to be having a little fun. She just told me that she will go next week and I can sit in the chair in the hall.

DD's friend is in the same class and her mom told me last week she had no problems. Well, when my dd started crying, she started crying and refused to do the class. She wouldn't even stay in there if her mom stayed with her. I felt bad.

I'm sorry I haven't checked in all morning, it's been crazy.

But I just received this text from Eric:

Jodi out of surgery, all benign. Took one ovary and removed cyst from the other.​

So, it looks like the best possible outcome.

Thanks goodness!!!

Jodi got done with her surgery around 11:30 AM. They took out "Junior" which was the size of a baby head, and took off a cyst off the other ovary. The other ovary was perfectly intact and functioning and both cysts were benign. She's still in recovery now but will be in her room within the hour. Thanks for your prayers, good wishes, as they're all appreciated. -- DH Eric

I feel your pain. My entire family got sick last week. Now everyone is fine, except me. I got this cold last Tuesday and I still have it. I'm sick of being sick!

I just lost a big long reply.

So I'll just say I read everything, and hugs to everyone and glad there's good news from Jodi.

My morning was crazy busy, my afternoon not so much so, but I didn't even get on the computer. The septic guy was supposed to come suck up the nasty today, but he just now showed up.

The boys have a playdate just around the block. I'm going to get them at 5:00.

D gets home at 2:00 tomorrow morning/tonight, however you want to look at it. He leaves Thursday afternoon. We have the boys' open house at school from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m Thursday. Strikes me as a weird time, and we're supposed to take them rather them taking the bus. They are mad.

They think they're going to move my grandpa back to rehab - nothing much more has happened and his hemoglobin level is back to normal. Mom said she and grandma did have a conversation yesterday that he might not come home again, but grandma wasn't too freaked about it (she's medicated for paranoid depression, so we always worry about her reactions...)

Sigh.

Anyway, I'll be back!

Thanx for the Get Well Wishes ! I hate being sick this is the first day I have called in sick since starting last November soo needless to say no one is mad at me !!
Kat I have the chicken with onion soup and sour cream recipe in . Just tried it and even though I can't taste much it was good !!Next I'm trying th chicken with stuffing one ! That will be next week!!
