Well, I'm going on a ladies trip this afternoon. Meeska and I are going to Lubbock (about 2 hours away) to drop her daughter off for the weekend with her father. And we're going shopping!!!

Have fun shopping!

They have no money or supplies for the baby. Yay for them!!!

Also...I just walked into Jon's room...and we spend hours...HOURS...the other day building this 3-D pirate ship puzzle. My chihuahua is going to die...she chewed it like a bone...and ate several pieces.

So, I just called a bit ago and they were in the process of releasing my mum. (Jo, she's been in hospital since Tuesday. OK now, though.) So, that's good news.

D's mom called and I told her the saga, and she very generously offered to give my mom miles to come here if she'd relax more here than at home. That was sweet. I don't know if I can get mom to leave there now though, as grandpa's not perking up much on the rehab floor. (Jo, I almost didn't come to FL as grandpa had surgery on the 18th and we didn't think he'd make it. I don't think I told you that.)

Some good news on Jessica's school bus, apparently they're changing the route and instead of her leaving the house at 7.05am and getting back at 5pm it will now be 7.25am and 4.30pm, those extra 20 minutes in the morning will make so much difference

My BIL says Mitch and I can't take Reid to Disney before the whole family goes with him. So tomorrow we are off to..........................................

I`m thinking about my ADRs in October...the only ones I have so far are Thursday 10/16 at 5:40 Cali Grill...should I keep it? its just me and Steve. is it worth the money?
I made a ADR for b-fast at Crystal Palace on 10/20 at 9:10. I wanted 8:30. because I wanted to get in before the park opened. I`ll keep trying..its my birthday that day and we are leaving that nite.
Mostly I`m worried about Cali Grill...

Hi guys!

well, there's a good reason why I haven't been around today. I called the doctor at 8:30 this morning to see if I could get something for the pain and he sent me to the ER. So, after numerous tests and seeing lots of doctors, I've been admitted to the hospital with a ovarian cyst that measures 7cm x 10cm. At this point, I'm on IV morphine and they're just waiting to see if I can handle the pain. It's not an emergency situation. My OB-GYN is not on call this weekend and if I can, I'd like to wait to have her do the surgery. It will be sometime next week, unless the pain is too bad. If so, then I'll have surgery this weekend sometime and the doc on call will do it. Either way, it's got to come out.

Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know. I'm feeling pretty good right now (thanks Mr. Morphine). I'll check in again later. My BFF and her DH are here (along with my DH) and I'm starting to feel a bit sleepy.

Hey Guys! I got to pick Gwenie up this morning and she looked sooo happy to see us.. but now shes layin around like a sad sack again.. im thinking shes tired still and stuff.. and her ear probably hurts.. there was a foxtail in it poor baby.. so now we have to give her a pill twice a day and ear drops twice a day.. those arent fun..

im sooo happy its friday!! 3 day weekend now! work felt sooo loong because it was soo hott... it says its 103 here right now.. and walking around outside for an hour and a half in this heat everyday is draining me!

Yesterday, my brother's pregnant baby momma totalled his car. She is now in the hospital in bed on observation. Her due date is Tuesday. She and the baby appear fine.

This was their final car. A few weeks ago...her car was stolen right out of the parking lot at their apartment building. Now...she wrecked his car. Yay for good luck. She has been contracting all night. So, we'll see. It's a girl...they are going to name her Addison Rose.

They have no money or supplies for the baby. Yay for them!!!

This is Lexie's dad...my niece that I took on my trip.

This is his fourth child by the third momma. He is bipolar...and he just lets his illness lead him.

Soooo...I may have to take a trip to Abq. this weekend to see my new niece. And my crazy brother.

We have biked and paddle boated our heart out. I am napping TINK right now, while the boys are our kayaking. I even saw a LOON (the MN state Bird). GOt pictures for you Dawn!

I would have been on sooner, but their WIFI was out until today. There was a huge electrical storm the day before we came. I guess that was a blessing in disguise.


We are off for more biking into town as soon as TINK wakes her princess self up.
