Just came home from the podiatrists. First time ever. I really liked him. I got some cream for my ugly heels and a prescription for Lamisil for my even uglier toenails! I forgot my insurance card. actually I couldnt find it when I left the house. so I have to go back with Steves and get my $65 check back. because that checking account is frozen. oops...keeping fozen for spending money for Disney, my paychecks can go in, but money cant come out. I left the regular checkbook on the counter this morning because Sam needed lunch money...oops..
Went to lunch at The 99 resturant with Annie. I figured we would have one last lunch together before she starts K on Tuesday.

No plans for me for the weekend. working Sat and Sunday, and hopefully Monday. time and half for Sunday and monday!

So, I just called a bit ago and they were in the process of releasing my mum. (Jo, she's been in hospital since Tuesday. OK now, though.) So, that's good news.

D's mom called and I told her the saga, and she very generously offered to give my mom miles to come here if she'd relax more here than at home. That was sweet. I don't know if I can get mom to leave there now though, as grandpa's not perking up much on the rehab floor. (Jo, I almost didn't come to FL as grandpa had surgery on the 18th and we didn't think he'd make it. I don't think I told you that.)

We'll do our pizza and a movie night, but I need to figure out if I'm making stuff to take up to the lake tomorrow, or just buying something from the store. At this point, I'm leaning towards buying.

Well the girls went to bed at 7pm, they just couldn't manage to stay awake a moment longer, they're under strict orders to stay in their rooms till 7am though otherwise we'll never get back on track!


Some good news on Jessica's school bus, apparently they're changing the route and instead of her leaving the house at 7.05am and getting back at 5pm it will now be 7.25am and 4.30pm, those extra 20 minutes in the morning will make so much difference

She developed sepsis (blood infection) sometime last weekend. I hope to talk her into coming out. She's often said that she is much more relaxed with the 6 year olds than with her parents.

Some good news on Jessica's school bus, apparently they're changing the route and instead of her leaving the house at 7.05am and getting back at 5pm it will now be 7.25am and 4.30pm, those extra 20 minutes in the morning will make so much difference

Well...my brother just called and they are inducing his baby momma.

Also...I just walked into Jon's room...and we spend hours...HOURS...the other day building this 3-D pirate ship puzzle. My chihuahua is going to die...she chewed it like a bone...and ate several pieces.

When we went to dinner at my MIL's Tuesday, we had chocolate pie for dessert. The "little kids" were laughing and saying, "We look like Daddy." This is the picture I took of them with Kirt.

How is everyone else? It ended up being sunny here today! And hot/humid, though NOTHING compared with FL. The kids complained on our walk that it was too hot and I said, "You have NO idea!!!"

We walked, played at the playground and then walked back. Then I dragged them off to the grocery for a few things. Then back home again.

I was just catching up with my "trashy" news on Perezhilton and he posted a pic of Michael Phelps at MK today in the parade! NO way! I should've stayed! Who's still there?! Lucky ducks!

We have biked and paddle boated our heart out. I am napping TINK right now, while the boys are our kayaking. I even saw a LOON (the MN state Bird). GOt pictures for you Dawn!

I would have been on sooner, but their WIFI was out until today. There was a huge electrical storm the day before we came. I guess that was a blessing in disguise.


We are off for more biking into town as soon as TINK wakes her princess self up.

I don't know much about her. I wasn't really very happy as a momma when I read that she returned to work 3 days after having her last baby (who has downs) in April. How will she raise her 4 month old (especially a special needs baby) if she's VP?
I know I shouldn't care, but I do wonder.
