Hey all, but mostly parents of boys... are these too "girly?" Leo said he loved them at WDW, but he was also exhausted and in the Disney Moment, KWIM? I don't want to buy the things and then have him refuse to wear them.

I saw them, too. I thought they would be fine for the boys if they wore flops, but they don't. I wanted some for me, too, but the Crocs flops are too wide for my dainty little feet.

so my Gwenie has to stay at the vet tonight.. they have to sedate her and clean her ear out.. they didnt see a fox tail but they said there was alot of puss and its irritated.. poor baby... shes gunna think we abandoned her.. i took off her collar at home because i thought thats what was bothering her and it didnt get beack on before the appt and when we left the vet had us take her harness adn leash too...

Awww...poor puppy! Hope you get her back today happy & healthy!

Of course, I'll spend much of that 3 weeks getting a head start on my next classes, but still.

I'm gonna say yes but I would also put them on Lindsey. But of course this is coming from a mom who's son likes to pull out his sister's fuzzy pink Ugg look-a-like boots and wear them around the house along with my high heels.

Not much planned for me today. DR has preschool this afternoon and Linds and I will be heading to McD's for some playtime and lunch. She doesn't go back to Kindy until next Tuesday and I think it will be a long weekend all around for me. I'm really starting to re-think my whole visitation schedule with their father.

When we pick up DR we'll make the cookies and brownies for our garage sale tomorrow. Lindsey is so looking foward to this and is excited to make some Disney money.

I'm off to do the dishes and start a load of laundry. Have a good day Fockers!

Aiden is almost 6, and I probably wouldn't put him in them. I think they are really cute, but Camryn would more likely wear them than Aiden.

I just showed him the picture and asked him if he thought the shoes were cool and he said they were girly.

Hi all!

Well, I'm home. I wish I had all sorts of happy news but I don't. Sd did his appt. with the psychologist. He then had a panic attack in the car and at the glaucoma dr. He talked himself down from it, which is great, but I am just so baffled. She talked to me first then called him in. She said I shouldn't be too excited about him being "even" the last two days because all the valium he took while we were away was probably still in his system. My heart just sank when she said that. We made an appt. with the pediatric psychiartrist today. That means meds. I'm pretty low right now.....

Eye dr. thought I was coming in for a "needling" today for some reason. Bob isn't with me to drive and I have SD with me having a darn panic attack! Ugh, no. So, I rescheduled for next week. My pressure was down to 23. (It was 28) He said he'll do one more needling and if that doesn't do it, he's scheduling surgery.

I know you are all out there about to send love my way. Thanks, in advance, so you don't have to.

I wanna crawl in bed and yank the covers over my head!

Vapors ..Dawn.. Vapors.. no proper lady especially Southern Belles have GAS... We suffer from "The Vapors"

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for the well wishes. You can stop worrying about me. It's not the vapors, Katt, but it's also not my appendix. The doctor asked me a few questions, pressed on my belly a bit and pronounced his diagnosis that I've got an angry valve between my small and large intestines. It's inflamed and irritated. His instructions were an antibiotic, and two things to help my intestines not have to work hard -- Miralax and a very low fiber diet. So, no more wheat bread for me or fibrous veggies. But, I can have all the meat and cheese and white bread that I want! So, I came home and ate a huge serving of mashed potatoes and some chicken.

He also took some blood, just to be sure that he didn't miss anything. He's pretty sure it's not my appendix since he pressed on it and I didn't jump off the table! I have to call him tomorrow to get the results.

I do have to say, however, that I really liked this doctor. Very personable. I don't have a family doctor, but I may just go back to him. I don't like doctors who treat you like they are better than you. This guy wasn't like that at all. Even my DH, who is very hard to please with doctors, liked him.

So, I'm hoping to feel better soon. At least I know it's nothing serious and that will help me relax. I've got some major scrapbooking to do tomorrow night!

Thanks all for your Crocs commewnts. My gut feeling is "too girly". Personlly, I really don't care, but the money thing gets me. And, OF COURSE, I can't find the non-Mickey blue and lime ones anywhere on sale.

But of course this is coming from a mom who's son likes to pull out his sister's fuzzy pink Ugg look-a-like boots and wear them around the house along with my high heels.

Well, I'm going on a ladies trip this afternoon. Meeska and I are going to Lubbock (about 2 hours away) to drop her daughter off for the weekend with her father. And we're going shopping!!!

I need to find a new purse...that's my goal.

My father is going to pick up Jon from school and take him to dinner and to our town's first high school football game of the season.

So, I have nothing to worry about except my new purse...

Yesterday, my brother's pregnant baby momma totalled his car. She is now in the hospital in bed on observation. Her due date is Tuesday. She and the baby appear fine.

This was their final car. A few weeks ago...her car was stolen right out of the parking lot at their apartment building. Now...she wrecked his car. Yay for good luck. She has been contracting all night. So, we'll see. It's a girl...they are going to name her Addison Rose.

They have no money or supplies for the baby. Yay for them!!!

This is Lexie's dad...my niece that I took on my trip.

This is his fourth child by the third momma. He is bipolar...and he just lets his illness lead him.

Soooo...I may have to take a trip to Abq. this weekend to see my new niece. And my crazy brother.

The town is cutting trees in my yard and they are making a mess! Argh. Why is Bob never around when this stuff goes on?

The sun is finally out! I'm going to finish the laundry and get these boys OUTDOORS! They need some sunshine and fresh air. So do I. I think later on we'll head out to grab some food for dinner and pick up a couple of things for school. My mom comes on Sunday! We don't have any plans at all for the weekend, other than that.

Gus' birthday is on Tuesday!

Also...I just walked into Jon's room...and we spend hours...HOURS...the other day building this 3-D pirate ship puzzle. My chihuahua is going to die...she chewed it like a bone...and ate several pieces.

We are going up to our neighbor's "lake house" tomorrow - it's a little double-wide in a development - for some swimming, boating, and eating. It should be fun - most of the street is going - but to an extent I dread days like this because you have to pack like you're going to WDW for 3 days, you know? Coolers and changes of clothes and sunscreen and bug spray and swim gear and... Plus we're taking the dog.
