Hey all, off to finish getting stuff ready for the party but wanted to let you all know that I posted a second update on my TR today!

I was going to reply, but I'm too tired. Sorry, everybody.
We've got a busy weekend with the girls' going to a dance clinic at the local high school and A's first baseball game. B's having a sleepover tomorrow night and we're going to Schlitterbahn some time this weekend. It's only open on the weekends for a few more weeks, so we have to get that in a few more times.

I have to clean, but I'm exhausted. I did a bunch earlier, so there's not much to do.

I forgot to mention that I'm off to MNSSHP, with a girlfriend because Mitch is not that nice. So it's a last minute DISmeet and for a costume I have, a black feather boa, a tiarra, devil horns, and lots of jewelry. I'll be sure to post a picture! No Halloween tees at Kohls ar WalMart so we'll see what I can come up with.

Thanks, T2. The last I talked to anyone, they were still planning on a stomach scope and back x-rays, but those hadn't happened yet. Mom does say that the Power of Attorney papers are in order, though, and she knows what he wants if it comes to it (which is DNR...)

Ok, here is our hourly SD report! Ha!

He made it through the whole day without visiting the office or the social worker. He went to all his classes and then stayed after for 30 mins to finish what he missed the last two days. I got emails from all but his history teacher and they were all so nice. They said that they talked with him, enjoyed having him in class and that he was completely caught up! He even felt good enough to verbally spar with the history teacher on a point he made. I said, yeah great now you're the kid who doesn't show up AND argues!

He is feeling very positive about today! He DID have a half of one of the valiums this morning before school, but that is a 1/4 dose and it wore off around lunchtime. He said he felt a bit anxious during the end of lunch (probably about the time it wore off) but he calmed himself!!!!

It's not over, but at least he had ONE good day and a weekend to prepare for Monday. AND the teachers were great!!!

It's one of those hour at a time, Class at time, day at a time things. No where as fierce as what you are facing... But that's what I'm telling Sarabeth about this school year.. One class at a time... One day at aTime.. 1 week at a time.. thats how you eat an elephant.. One bite at a time.

okay!! but , my mom is coming with us. we have to use the 3rd row seat in the honda pilot. so, if you're in my suitcase , that means you're riding on top of the car!!!! maybe you could car surf like they do in teen wolf?

No problem! Mr. The King hardly ever lets me ride in the car because of my gas problems. I can hang on really tight

Well I'm back from the Peach Festival!! The girls squad came in 2nd which was awesome seeing as the music messed up and they were just standing there for at least 5 mins. but the stood perfectly and smiled . I bet their faces hurt from smiling so long! After wards we did the rounds of the food stands , they have some real different foods . DSIL got clams and seafood jambalaya which he loved ( puts hot sauce on everything !!! The rain held of till after the competition but then the skies opened and I am drenched !!

OK I'm NOT going.

His heart was in the right place tho. He thought i'd be thrilled to go but in reality I was move upset he couldn't go with me. I had fun solo but I would rather vacation with him. Then I found out my friend Laura who who I would be staying with had to work one of the days I was to be there AND that she couldn't afford to go into F&W. It just seemed silly to me to do it.

We had a long talk about it, we had a short cry about it. Then we went out for a walk for a while to cool down. Things are ok now. I mostly feel bad for not being happier about his trying to do something so great for me, he mostly felt bad I wasn't more excited.

So we got a credit on the plane ticket. That means we have a year to use it. So we are $200 closer to a trip of some kind for the coming year, so thats good I guess. I am secretly hoping New Orleans will be in our future come April or May. We'll see.

Thanks to everyone for letting me vent. I got me a great hubby but I think i'll stick to being the planner in the house!

Off to play some Sims 2.

Ok, so has free dining been extended or did it always go into October?? I just got an email with a pin code for free dining with a MYW package from 9/28 to 10/11...

I feel like I should be FREAKING out right now...I've never, ever gotten an email with a pin code in it... Sure, now that I've used 2 years worth of points and all of my savings to take my family only a month later

Anyway, hope all is well with everyone!! Stay dry!!
